COLLIE PUPPY 'TAILS' OF THE UNEXPECTED!
Review of Border Collie by  cetacean

Advantages: LOVING ,LOYAL,KEEPS YOU FIT!
Disadvantages: NONE

...breeders or buy from a farm which has working collies. Collies cannot really be over exercised when over a year old as they naturally run miles and miles on farms. Dont over do it as puppies as their bone structure and muscles are still developing. We use dry food from 'ARDEN GRANGE' supplemented with the odd sachet of meat. Temperament is largely based on the early stages of socialisation so the more and varied people and situations you introduce your dog to will mean they are less scared when older . This will then produce a more confident and happy dog. A fantastic book which has helped us enormously as first time owners is 'The Perfect Puppy ' by Gwen Bailey ISBN 0-600-58581-6 which has advice on behavioural issues, socialisation, house training, preventing biting and aggression, training and much more. This advice really helped... Read review

THE GRANGE, LONG WITTENHAM, BED & BREAKFAST
Review of The Grange, Long Wittenham by  kismet

Advantages: friendly owners, good location
Disadvantages: none

...My husband is originally from Wallingford in Oxfordshire. Most of his family live in North Devon as do we, but we travel up occasionally to see some of his old friends. Last year we were looking for a cheap B&B in the Wallingford area and this was the closest that we could find. Long Wittenham is a lovely village which is about a 15 minute drive from Oxford. The village itself has three pubs which all serve good food and entertainment. The Grange is a small Bed & Breakfast in Long Wittenham. We have stayed there two years running over the Easter weekend so I thought I would write a review on them. Graham Neil runs The Grange. It only has around four bedrooms, only one of which is ensuite. Mr Neil lives there with his wife and his two dogs, Florrie and Harriet. EASTER 2005 +++++++++++++ This was our first visit to The Grange... Read review

Its enormous
Review of Barton Grange Garden Centre, Preston by  MichelleScott

Advantages: Big and interesting
Disadvantages: Not cheap

...-making and advice on making garlands and Christmas floral displays. They are even running special Christmas Workshops on these things. Apparently they get very busy though so it is best to book a place. There is a grotto but we haven’t tried it yet. We normally like to go there without the kids as they get bored in these places. The houseplant section is good. At the moment it is bursting with poinsettias, of course. The staff here are helpful and friendly. We are good at killing houseplants, and they are always willing to offer advice and sympathy. Ray keeps bonsai trees (outdoor ones, the indoor ones don’t survive in our house) and he gets some of his supplies at Barton Grange. I like wandering through the tropical plants and palms. ~ PET DEPARTMENT ~ They sell the usual fish and small animals/birds, plus accessories and food. They give... Read review

Elizabeth Arden High Shine Lip Gloss
Review of Elizabeth Arden High Shine Lip Gloss 10 Pink Champagne by  Sarahhhx

Advantages: Looks great, tough staying power
Disadvantages: Nothingg

...The name of the product I'm reviewing is : Elizabeth Arden High Shine Lip Gloss I started using Elizabeth Arden High Shine Lip gloss two week ago; after purchasing Elizabeth Arden foundation around a month ago I decided to try out their lip-gloss range as I was more than satisfied with the results of the foundation and how flawless my skin looked even when I applied the product when I had hangover skin. So I already had a positive view on Elizabeth Arden make-up as I felt they delivered good quality products with a great range of colours to choose from. The lip-gloss cost me £8 which, I believe is a good price for a product that does exactly what it's supposed to do and more. The product ticks all the boxes on what makes a perfect lip-gloss, it has good staying power, and it gives a glamorous but natural look and doesn't taste bad... Read review

A Little Piece of Narnia in Basingstoke
Review of The Walled Garden Basingstoke, Hampshire by  mrsmopples

Advantages: It's free, it's peaceful, large car park and close to a pub.
Disadvantages: Not enough to do, toilets not always open, no seats.

...is perfect location for wedding receptions and private functions. The flat and immaculate kept grassy area is large enough for a marquee. Incase you are wondering where the food for an event can be kept, well there is a small building called The Bothy. This has public toilets with disabled access as well as baby changing facilities. There is a small kitchen area too inside this building. Unfortunately you cannot rely on The Bothy being opened and if you need a toilet, you will have to walk to the Down Grange Pub/Restaurant about half a mile away. It’s in the garden that they often host a series of popular family events such as craft shows throughout the year. Also school trips are accommodated but you have to arrange it prior to coming. As this is a nature and conservation area, it really does make it ideal for school visits. On the last... Read review

Camp Tastic
Review of Grange Farm by  maisiemouse123

Advantages: Family fun life experience
Disadvantages: None

...:) The Prices These I won't go into as they are so variable! It all depends if you camp, wether you need electric hook-up, size of your tent, number of people, if you want to take the dogs (yes you can take your furry friends with you!) Well there is lots of choices, and then there is also the static caravans - if you don't want to camp (or you can bring your own) and lastly they also have a choice of barn conversions aswell. Best thing to do is check out their website at - www.brighstonebay.fsnet.co.uk To conclude If you want shiny, new, 24/7 facility with a club, pool, no animals or children then this isn't the place for you. However if you want a small family run farm holiday where your kids can be kids and you can share this with them, then this is a must. Grange farm has that personnal touch, with everything you need on site, great facilities... Read review

The Grange, good but it should be exellent !
Review of Grange Hotel, York by  read123

Advantages: Good location, nice food , wi-fi service provided
Disadvantages: Limited parking space, over priced

...I'm a huge fan of York and frequently pay visits to this historic town, I have stayed in a fair few of the good hotels York has to offer. As a nice weekend treat in before christmas in december I decided to try The Grange as it holds a very high reputation throughout York and is generally seen as a quality hotel. Anyway on to my stay at The grange, first impressions the building is situated within waking distance from the town centre which is handy but the building is not set back from the road so noise can become a problem in the front rooms as the road in which it is located (bootham) is a main road in York and is busy at most times.Next onto the parking faciities, I consider these to be quite inadequate for a hotel of this size it has 40+ rooms with little room for more than 20 cars and also needs to allow space for people dining... when can I go again
Review of Henlow Grange Spa by  kazzyg

Advantages: Lots of treatments and the food is to die for
Disadvantages: some of the extra treatments are a bit pricey so can add up

...Oh wow!, I have always wanted to be pampered and this was it - totally ooo's and mmmm's. I checked in with a couple of friends for the night. We arrived at 10 to check in and were given our pre-booked schedule of times of treatments that we were having. Having never been to a health farm before I was expecting to be weighed (thank god they didnt). As soon as you arrive you are made to feel welcome. Everyone seems to spend there time in dressing gowns. You can hire them or buy them. I brought me as a reminder. Initially I did think that I wouldnt feel comfortable in just a robe but that didnt last long. Henlow Grange is a lovely mansion set in its own ground with a river running throw it - when we went last month the swans had babies so that was an extra bonus. The facilties are really good. The pool is huge and is never busy. We went... Read review

Miracle tube
Review of Elisabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream by  gelbel

Advantages: A great cure all
Disadvantages: None

...I'd been meaning to try Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour cream for ages after reading all the endorsements from the world and his dog. So when I caught by arm on the oven, like you do, and then managed to keep catching the burn on my desk I knew it was time to buy it. I rubbed the cream, more of a gel, on the burn several times a day and could see brilliant results within a day or two. It had totally cleared up within a couple of weeks and there is NO scarring whatsoever - all due to this little tube of miracles. I wish I had a tube for a similar burn I did a few years ago that has left a scar. EA8H cream now goes everywhere - lips, spots, any cuts and grazes. I am even trying to see what it does to a couple of stubborn lines that have appeared on my neck. They do appear to be slightly better - I think the EA8H cream hydrates... Read review

A Miracle In A Tube
Review of Elisabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream by  daylehall

Advantages: Has multiple uses, smells nice
Disadvantages: Quite expensive for a cream

...I am quite a low maintenance sort of girl, I don't really tend to wear make up but one beauty product I cant do without (aside from my perfume) is my Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream. Up until a couple of years ago, I had never even heard of this product. I went on holiday with my best friend and got sunburnt lips while I was there, she introduced me to Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream and I have used it ever since and was quite shocked that I had never heard of it before. This cream was first around about 70 years ago and was originally intended to be used on miner skin irritations, for chapped or peeling skin as well as sunburn, scratches and miner burns. Since then, women all over the world have found countless uses for it, which I will explain about later. Packaging The cream comes in a white box which to be honest looks quite boring... Read review
