Javier de Pedro signs for Blackburn.
Review of Javier DE PEDRO [Spain] by  SamRoversNo1

Advantages: Now playing in England for Blackburn.
Disadvantages: Could have come sooner.

...Graeme Souness may have bought some good people over the last few years as manager, Brad Friedel, the ill-fated Barry Ferguson and the young Jonathan Stead. But unlike all of these players, excluding Friedel, Souness has bought De Pedro for nothing. Javier De Pedro is Spanish, he was born on August 4th 1973, so he still in his prime. He is 180cms tall and plays in midfield. Souness still needs to buy a good midfielder after he sold off Dunn and Duff. De Pedro was signed on a two year deal so we have a lot of time to see how good he really is as a player. De Pedro is said to have been a proven goalscorer from freekicks and he weighs in with lots of assists as well. De Pedro has played twenty times for the Spanish national side. So, De Pedro looks like the sort of player that Blackburn need ; a left winger with a lot of expierience. De... Read review

Poodling Pedro
Review of Pedro De La Rosa by  andycharger

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Overdrives cars

...I expected big things form De la Rosa. instead he drives into people and over people instead of around them. He did very well at A1 ring but only because nearly everyone went out on the first corner. Then the car let go. Also, Jos's car last a lot longer than Pedro's which makes me wonder if he is overdriving it. Engines that let go that often are not normally manufacturers fault. Drivers are simply overdriving them. Same as Johnny Hebert. No way can someone have such bad luck with engines. He just breaks them. Go to Indy Car racing Johnny, and take Pedro with you!!!... Read review

Lost Talent
Review of Pedro De La Rosa by  skinheed87

Advantages: Has a great character and has excellent potencial
Disadvantages: Is under-estimated

...Pedro is a great driver in formula 1 and deserves everything good he gets. He was born in Barcelona in Spain on the 24th of February 1971. He still lives in Barcelona and enjoys a variety of sports, pasta and mineral water. He is a very friendly person and I sort of know because I met him at Autosport International to get an autograph from him! Pedro has taken part in 33 grand prix, earned 3 points and had 9 retirements. Just like Olivier Panis his talent has been hidden because of his slower car. Although the Arrows team was great in 2000 he had bad luck and there was other better contenders in the field. He came 16th in the championship with 2 points. This year he has been thrown out of Arrows (hence the title) just because a sponsor came with a new driver Enrique Bernoldi. Tom Wakinshaw, the owner of Arrows has made a HUGE... Read review

Amarula Cream - The Spirit Of Africa
Review of Amarula by  VC81

Advantages: Delicious unique flavour, suitable for any occasion, cheaper than other cream liqueurs
Disadvantages: Marula flavour slightly over-powered

...well balanced, pleasant, and the distinctive flavours highly unique. It is particularly versatile in being rich and sophisticated enough for after dinner, or light enough to be enjoyed on a summer afternoon. BEING INVENTIVE WITH AMARULA The customary way to take Amarula is on the rocks, although I prefer mine unadulterated and at room temperature, as I find the ice does not mix well with the Cream, making the texture watery, and dumbing down the flavours. A visually striking and gustatory delicious use of Amarula is in a Springbok. This stylish short is created with a layer of Amarula sat atop a green tier of Crème de menthe, and should be gulped whole to maximise the taste experience. Amarula also performs very well in coffee, or latte, bringing a gentle warming sweetness to the beverage. Dom Pedros are popular after dinner treats... Read review

not a superstar,but...
Review of Pedro Diniz by  steveymacca

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

...One word you would not use to describe pedro diniz is superstar.Words you would use are tough, gritty, determind and strong. The brazilian has now been in F1 for a number of seasons and knows what to do in those situations where lesser drivers would panic. He may not be driving the best or most reliable car in the world, but his determination and work rate often makes up for times when the car lets him down.In a more competitve car,I could yet see the word 'superstar'added alongside pedros name.Until,he moves from sauber, however, nothing great will be acheived from him, picking up just a few points a season.... The next big thing?
Review of Pedro De La Rosa by  DavidJWest

Advantages: Good all round package.
Disadvantages: Apart from reliability

...The top teams need to be looking over their shoulders as Arrows mount a serious challenge in the form of Pedro De La Rosa. The car has the speed and handling necessary to get amongst the points on a regular basis if they can just iron out the mechanical gliches. The Austrian GP was evidence of this, as Pedro was able to keep the Ferrari of Barrichello at bay until the engine gave up. The commentators had to eat their words as they confidently predicted than Pedro must be on a a two stop strategy and therefore a lighter fuel load to keep up that pace (at one stage setting the fastest lap of the race) but no, he was on the same strategy as the 'big boys'! Qualifying is another area which they need to look at, as in order to get among the points regularly they need to be qualifying at least in the top ten, not the low teens where... Read review

Review of The Fast And The Furious (Wide Screen) by  REDRAVEN

Advantages: its wicked
Disadvantages: its wicked

...This film is action packed full of top of the range street racers, with nitro's which are nitros oxide and all the kit. It starts off with three Civics kitted up to the max, doing a boost to me and you stealing a truck load of electrical goods. Then the story all becomes apparent when Brian a undercover cop trys to get in with the street racers to find out who is doing the boosts. Dominic the gang leader doesnt take a welcoming to Brian and tries to get him fired from his job at the racers edge a car shop for performance car parts. Later on he turns up at a street race in his supra wanting to race, if he wins he takes the money and the respect and if he loses his car is gone. Then he loses the race because his piston rings got fried and ows Dom a ten second car, but before he has chance to had over the keys and the slip the cops... Read review

It's Dom Joly
Review of Trigger Happy TV - Complete (Box Set) by  sheez

Advantages: Good ideas
Disadvantages: It's all acting, humour is offensive to many

...For those of you that didn't know, every thing you see on trigger happy is all acting - with exception to the celebrity interviews which seem rather convincing. Dom Joly assumingly approaches unsuspecting members of the public with hilarious humour, such as the mobile phone joke where Dom recieves a phonecall on his somewhat large mobile telephone and of course answers it with a very loud voice - sure to get many people gorping. Even though the whole thing is staged the sketches are still very amusing and some of the acting is rather convincing - with the exception of the few that look straight at the camera. This DVD is ninety minutes from the cream of the first series with bonus footage from when Dom Joly and Sam Cadman (co-executive producer) worked for the Paramount comedy Channel. Dom Joly once had a job with ITN, he was doing... Read review

fast and furious
Review of The Fast And The Furious DVD by  jo_field26

Advantages: paul walker
Disadvantages: n.a

...What more can I say Paul Walker, not only is he great looking but I think he is a great actor, too add to that you also have Vin Diesel. The film has great special effects and not that I am a huge car fan but the cars are great too. Dom played by Vin Diesel and his gang all have great cars and at night they like to show them off and race against others, when one night Brian played by Paul Walker wants to race, he does not have the money to, but offers his car if he loses. Brian looks like he is going to win, but at the last minute is beaten by Dom. Brian saves Dom from the cops so Dom takes Brian into his gang, which no one is happy with apart from his sister, who has a soft spot for Brian. A few lorries carrying have been knocked by a gang driving fast cars. The FBI suspects that the robbers are involved in the street... Read review

Dom RULES
Review of Channel 4 - Trigger Happy TV by  india1

Advantages: funny show which leaves you in stiches
Disadvantages: none

...Trigger Happy TV stars Dom Joly, and the new series is being shown on the new channel E4, it’s so funny, yesterday one scene had me in stitches. He uses different actors to make fun out of the public, in one scene he told one guy that he had won a dash around a supermarket, and this poor guy went all excited running around, and on his return their was nothing wrong. This is was funny, it me laugh. The soundtrack to this show is top notch, Dom Joly is original and funny, what a combination. When he interviews famous people and decides to do a runner, this week he did it to Lord Bath, you need to watch this to check it for yourself, it comes on at 10pm on E4 and it is the new series....
