...It’s been a while since I bought a new fragrance but instead of telling you about my most recent buy I will talk to you about my current favourite fragrance. I don’t like overpowering perfumes but I do like, light but fresh scents and this is why I really like DKNY Be Delicious. I first heard of this perfume through reading one of my magazines. On the advert for this perfume there was one of those peel back labels where you can have a smell, I really liked the smell of it and wanted to know more so the next time I visited a department store I was on the look out for ‘Be Delicious’. What the Packaging is Like The packaging for Be Delicious follows the standard format of a cardboard box wrapped in cellophane. The box has been designed to look like a brown cardboard box. ...As I share a flat with another girl I get the bonus of being able to share perfumes and test them out before actually having to buy them myself. This has proved invaluable as after a few days wear I always seem to go off them. The original DKNY perfume by high Profile Designer Donna Karan was very nice, so when my flatmate bought the new Be Delicious fragrance I was sure I would love it. The bottle is shaped like an apple and made of glass with a metal top,with the scent of apples making up the majority of the fragrance. Unlike other appley perfumes, this fragrance is not overpowering. There is a strong hint of apples but also an underlying fresher, light floral fragrance which tones down the apple and gives it an all over easy to wear scent. ...I had been after the DKNY (Donna Karan, New York) fragrance for absolutely ages, after smelling a tester in Boots - I HAD to have it! Luckily my fiance brought the 30ml Energizing Eau De Parfum for christmas - so as you can imagine, I was really pleased!!! One of the first things that attracted me to this fragrance was it's modern packaging, a silver and transparent long diamond shaped box with black 'DKNY' logo titled horizontally on the silver front. The bottle is the same modern shape as the packaging, a very attractive bottle with both misted glass and normal glass on either side. It has a silver spray pump on top of the bottle and a glass top which has the DKNY logo, again horizontally on the front. Thats the boring packaging bit over...now the most important bit - the scent! ...Hmmm...wondering what the title's all about? Well, you see, when I first tested this perfume out in Boots, the woman at the perfume counter told me it was inspired by the taste (huh?!) and smell of a vodka and orange. Personally, I can't quite see where she's coming from but anyway...! The perfume is called DKNY quite simply. The DKNY acronym stands for Donna Karan New York. Like alot of perfume manufactuers, DKNY first started as a fashon label and moved into the perfumery market. This is DKNY's first frangrance for women (brought out in 2000) and I think they did a damn good job! The bottle is tall and slender and is in the shape of a diamond. ...**The Lable** DKNY has been produced by Donna Karen, since 1988. It is a well known brand, standing for Donna Karen New York. **The packaging** The packaging i got was absolutely amazing, i've kept it for a year because i liked it so much! It's a shiny green box with DKNY Be Delicious in a little circle across the lid. I bought a set which came with lotion aswell as the parfum, which was really good value for money. **The Product** The product smells absolutely amazing, with a hint of apple. You just slightly press down a button on the top, which is very smooth by the way, and it sprays out a bit of the perfume. It also lasts for a rather long time. **Buying The Product** The perfume can be purchased from virtually any chemist/pharmacist at around a price of £25-£35. A real bargain I would say!
