Ghd Thermal Protector - protect your hair!
Review of Ghd Thermal Protector Normal / Fine by
ivytoad
Advantages: Makes hair smoother, smells nice, protects!
Disadvantages: Maybe a bit on the expensive side - but worth it!
...can get on with using your hair straighteners. Since the bottle uses a spray top, the liquid comes out as a nice fine mist so that your hair gets a good even amount and means that you don't use too much.
I really like how the thermal protector made my hair feel, not only was it easy to use but it made my hair less frizzy, it also made it shinier and it made it feel slightly thicker. On top of all that it is protecting my hair. I have noticed that after using it my hair does feel nicer and not as dry, which was an effect of using my straighteners without using something to protect my hair.
The smell of the thermal protector is actually quite nice (which surprised me!) I thought it was going to smell slightly chemically but instead smells quite sweet and a little fruity, which I think is an added bonus as it makes your hair smell nice...

Love your psp? Get this!
Review of Logic 3 PSP Screen Protector by
Rockinricky
Advantages: Protects screen from scratches!
Disadvantages: expensive, difficult installation process, can get dust stuck on protector
...Just gotten your psp? you will first notice that great big lovely screen in the middle of it.
You will also notice how easy it is to scratch it, even your clothes will leave small scratches across the screen.
Your best defence against these annoying scratches on your screen, is a screen protector.
What this product is, is a transparent peice of plastic, with a sticky side on it - does not leave a sticky residue behind - which you put directly onto your psp's screen.
The plastic is very strong, it cannot be peirced without a considerable amount of force and a sharp object, which obviously wont happen, but its nice to know nothing will get through to your screen.
---Application instructions:---
1. Before putting the screen protector on, you want your psp screen to be clean, free from dust and oil. - Best way to do this is to get...

Plastic protection
Review of ORA Screen Protectors Screen protector by
donf18
Advantages: Protects your screen for a long time
Disadvantages: Quite expensive for what they are
...This pack of 3 oblong plastic sheets are advertised as screen protectors for PDA's. Whilst they are suitable for this purpose may I suggest that they can also be used to protect the screen on your mobile phone.
We are all in such a rush these days that even our prized possessions just generally get thrown into our pockets or handbags. In turn they get scratched and damaged and are in desperate need of some better form of protection than the flimsy little thin protector they come with.
The screen protectors I purchased cost just over £6 which is £2 each and this to many of you may indeed seem a bit pricey, myself included. This really is not the case when you consider the protection you get for your 2 quid.
The sheets of plastic come oversized for all PDA's and must be cut to size making it very easy to cut one to fit...

Have you got protection
Review of Belkin ClearScreen Overlay Screen protector Clear by
phensh
Advantages: Use of protection can save you money
Disadvantages: Can be difficult to apply correctly the first time
...With so many touch screen devices out there protecting the screen is really important. You spend hundreds of pounds on the latest gizmo, whether it's a pda or smartphone and with these gadgets getting smaller and smaller you just slip them into your pocket, thats where the problems can begin. It only takes a pen or a few loose coins in the same pocket and your nice new gadget could look like it's been in the wars(remember if you take good care of your gadget it will probably have a good resale value for the future so plan ahead
and protect your little baby)
The choices-
Now with screen protectors you have three choices
1-Not to bother with them, which as stated above could cost you dearly(if you scratch the screen you have to look at it everytime you use it now how is that for reminding you)
2-You could...

Everything you need in a screen overlay
Review of Belkin ScreenClean Screen protector by
Dritz39
Advantages: Last year(s), simple, easy, effective
Disadvantages: can affect screen view
...Using a screen overlay is purely a matter of personal choice.
The reasons to use them are simple:
They help protect the screen for fingers, dust, dirt, pens, scratches.
Many will say that the screens are designed to be all of the above, but then why wax your car, it gives it that little bit more protection.
The Belkin Screen overlays are simple to use, they come with a applicator to help remove any air bumps and a cloth to clean the screen.
There are 12 overlays in a pack, each one is meant to last 1 month, but they can be left on as long as you are happy with them and just change them when the screen is full of pens marks.
Not had any problems with residue being left on the screen after removal, so well worth the small investment to help protect the more expensive investment.
Make sure you select the right overlay...

Cheap protection for an expensive item
Review of Belkin ClearScreen Overlay Screen protector Clear by
ScottishWestie
Advantages: Value for money, good protection, custom made
Disadvantages: Diificult to fit the first time
...Touch screen devices such as smartphones & PDAs are becoming more & more common these days. Some are finger friendly & most have a separate stylus for carrying out tasks.
The screen is a very sensitive component of these devices & expensive to replace. When you tap the screen or drag the stylus across the screen you increase the chances of damaging it.
I remember when I bought my first PDA, within days a tiny particle of grit landed on the screen without me knowing & after I had dragged the stylus across the screen it left a small but noticeable scratch.
I had no option but to invest in screen protectors, if that is the damage after a few days what would it be like after a few years?
I have used these protectors ever since on various devices, the outlay is very little (about £5.00) but they keep your device it tip top condition...

...I have always been a suffer from dry skin, and a few family members syffer from eczema. I wouldn't say that I am only person to have dry skin on there feet and hands but I have tryed many products to help deal with this.
My sister has eczema since she was little and she went into the Body Shop only a few months ago to ask what they recommend for her to use, and they told she should try Hemp Hand protector. So she brought home a tester and I tryed to see if works and it it the best thing I ever tryed for dry skin.
A few days later I went in to purchase some hand protector and they told me they do it for feet aswell, by this time I didn't know if I should buy both the hand and feet Protector or just the feet as I have more problems with my feet than hands. Dry Hands With Eczema - Get Hemp Hand Protector
Review of The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector by
judster
Advantages: Excellent for dry and sensitive skin
Disadvantages: Price and packaging
...I have been introduced to the wonderful world of the Bodyshop's Hemp Hand Protector...hallelujah! I recently attended a Bodyshop Party at a friends house where the smells of many Bodyshop products and garlic bread rolled into one
I am 34 years old and have the hands of a 50 year old. I have never been happy with my hands and they have always seemed to look older than the rest of me...well I hope so. I have suffered with eczema and extremely dry and sensitive skin all my life with my hands have always been the worst affected area. At this time of year when the weather is so cold and frosty they become especially sore and painful. I explained this to the Bodyshop representative and she suggested that I try the Hemp Hand Protector. I expressed my reservations about trying the product and explained that some hand creams tend...

Dirty Face Protector, Money for Nothing ?
Review of B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful Dirty Face Protector by
Crazyangel
Advantages: Quickly absorbed, handy sized tin
Disadvantages: Awful sweet peppermint smell which lasts for ages, expensive, unpleasant texture.
...The 'Dirty Face Protector' is a product by English company "B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful " - selling in several stores (mainly in central London) and online at "BNeverTooBusyTo BeBeautiful.com" (Yes a bit of a mouthful) ! As Lush's sister company, they sell a range of makeup, perfume, bath products and moisturisers to name but a few.
The "Dirty Face Protector" is, according to the website, a "fantastic almond moisturiser full of evening primrose and sandalwood oils, as well as giving you mild protection from the sun".
At £8 for 100g it's rather expensive, but with a catchy name and brightly coloured tin I decided to give it a go.
Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum), Octyl Dimethyl PABA, Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis), Carbomer, Triethanolmine, Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera...

GHD Thermal Protector for Dry Spray
Review of GHD Thermal Protector For Dry Hair 150ml by
crazyclaireyfairy
Advantages: Long lasting, quality name, improves hairs health when using heat
Disadvantages: High price
...This GHD hair styling product created as a thermal protector whilst using straightening irons on hair. I bought this along with my GHD Mk4's wondering how much difference it would make.
I have no doubts that using this is healthy for my hair.
At around £8.45 a bottle, in my opinion it is way over priced. I felt that I was paying for the name 'GHD' rather than a product which would improve the health of my hair after using straighteners everyday.
On comparing this product with similar from Treseme and Lee Stafford, I feel that the GHD thermal protector is not value for money. Lee Stafford's pink range also has a far nicer smell.
I believe GHD to be an extremely good quality product that is long lasting but it is possible to get very similar at a lower price....
