The memories of those few precious minutes of fun playing on the wooden train sets. I am relieved to tell you that this is still the case but on a grander scale! There are many toys on display for children (and BIG Kids) to experiment with. All well made to British standard and with an educational message. The Watford store is warm and bright and the toys are easily seen and well displayed for both Big and little people to view. ...This has to be one of my favorite toy shops and my boys love it too. Every week we take a trip into town and into early learning, sometimes not to buy... the boys play with the wooden train track they have set up, i browse the shop. The staff are lovely and are often handing out promotional balloons which the boys delight in. I do find them a little expensive but you pay for what you get. They have a good selection of educational toys and some lovely books which we all enjoy reading ( me expecially)!! One thing i do like about the shop is the staff dont mind the children touching things,which alot of shops ive been into do,not that i encourage this behavour ,but kids will be kids!! I have never had to exchange anything ,so do not know what the customer service is like, but i imagine its good. They sell lots of toys targeted... Read review

Advantages: great toys

...brilliant but often abit on thr expensive side. for example we wanted to buy our newborn a rattle and it was priced at £8 which i find abit too high , i was expecting it to be about £4 the highest so i was quite surprised. but the selection of toys in this store is great , for all different ages and is set out well and is well allocated on the shelves. all the early learning centre's toys i have for my daughter are fantastic with great shapes and sound range. and the best thing i noticed is most of the sound toys have the off switch which is great , otherwise i find myself digging though her toy box trying to find the toy with the tune . the durablity of the toys is great too, none have broken on me yet and they very easy to clean also... Advantages: INTRODUCES KIDS TO COMPUTERS

...This is worth buying, even if only to keep the kids quiet for a bit, and at only 29.89 (Argos, p972), not that expensive either. My son James,2, was brought this for his first birthday by a relative, when I seen it, I thought, no way will he stay interested for long enough, let alone actually play with it, but he loves it, in fact I have trouble getting on my own computer! Fisher-Price Baby Smartronics Computer Learning System is suitable for children 9m+, which at first I thought was a bit too young, but James took to it straight away, he loves it. IT has extra large very colourful keys, 9 letter keys ( ABC-DEF-GHI-JKL-MN-OPQ-RST-UVW-XYZ), 10 number keys (1-10) and space bar, set out as a normal keyboard, it also has a rollerball to act as a mouse and a mobile phone and 3 shape keys. ...Early Learning Centre Where to start?! This shop rocks. My son has just had his first birthday and as a first time Mum I am now getting to that competitive stage of “My child is brainier than yours” - immature I know, and therefore I wanted some educational but fun toys. What’s especially ingenious about this shop is in the City that I live we have a very large store where the staff encourage the children to play with the toys before you buy. Most of the toys are out on display armed with batteries and ready for little fingers to explore. My son and I spend literally hours here. I have found all the staff to be very nice and knowledgeable. ...The Early Learning Centre, known as ELC has over 200 stores county wide, also it has departments in 53 Debenham stores and in over 300 Sainsburys supermarkets. They sell all sorts of toys for children aged from 0-10. Ranging from soft toys and rattles through to dressing up clothes, pretend cookers, crayons, pens and painting easels. Their out door range of swings, slides, trampolines and climbing frames are second to none. We had a slide 11 years ago, which has always been kept in the garden. It has faded in colour slightly from the sun, but there is not one spot of rust on it. They do sell some branded toys such as Brio (wooden railway system), Mega Blocks, Thomas the Tank Engine and Bob the Builder toys, but mainly it is their own range which they stock.
