Advantages: A brilliant family film, suitable for all ages.
Disadvantages: Although almost flawless, some parts tend to drag.

...it 3 times a day, on repeat and try to learn the words. Even today it is still my favourite film, as it is a heart warming film which always brings a smile to my face, especially after hearing the song "My favourite things" which in my opinion was ruined by "Big Brovas" (the band) a few years ago. On the other hand there are some very sad songs including Edelweiss (Austria's national flower) Edelweiss, Edelweiss, every morning you greet me Small and white, clean and bright, you look happy to meet me Blossom of snow may you bloom and grow, bloom and grow forever Edelweiss, Edelweiss, bless my homeland forever... I would definitely recommend this film to anyone who hasn't seen it, as it is a classic which will always be around. Advantages: A number of good songs, and interesting and inspiring versions of old classics
Disadvantages: There are a few songs that just pass you by without you really noticing

...-style presented Edelweiss (Sound Of Music) this is a CD you need to hear. To take this step away from the original and usual with these well-known tunes takes a lot of courage, and it is an important step taken by Eder. Eder takes these classic show tunes, both from shows of the 1950's, originally accompanied by full orchestras without electric instruments, both big climatic songs in their respective shows, and gives them a complete new context. On The Street Where You Live is made into an intimate jazz balads complete with jazz harmonies and a saxophone solo in. A folk-style accompaniment and a beautiful bridge with several vocal lines woven together makes Edelweiss into a sweet folk lullaby. Noteworthy is that both the songs do very well in these format. It is only at some finishing cadences that you notice that they probably weren't written... Read review

Advantages: Lovely view, Good location, 24 hour pizza!
Disadvantages: A 3 course meal was 12EUR and a pint of Coke was 4EUR. Hmm!

...free drinks to anyone, regardless. The best pubs to check out are The Barn, Edelweiss, Empire & Rocky's. Best club was by far LimeLites but Futures also offered a wonderful party - until 5am! The pub Edelweiss is by far the best out of them all - the staff were hilarious and always gave free drinks, club passes, CDs T shirts etc and really knew how to show you a good time - we even persuaded the full pub crawl to divert to Edelweiss - Claire the rep wasn't amused (at first, she then realized it was a super place!)
