Electrolux Fridge and Freezer
Review of Electrolux ERES 31800 X by
ambrigen
Advantages: Appearance and features
Disadvantages: Terrible customer service, product quality and accessory support
...I bought this fridge and its companion refrigerator in September 2007 from Comet. Nice looking pieces of equipment and the additional benefit of the sparkling water dispenser. Unfortunately, experiences with both products have been very disappointing.. I would have expected much better from Electrolux. Going through Comet just adds one extra layer of complexity (and difficulty for the customer).
- the fridge was replaced once and the freezer was replaced twice, all due to defective electronics that could not be repaired by technicians who claimed the product to be new and that they had not received full product training yet.. much time was spent chasing up repairs (and spare parts) on the phone
- the instructions manuals for the 3 freezers that we received were not written by a native english speaker (many mistakes) and the pages...

Electrolux Sucks - In A Good Way
Review of Electrolux Z 4431 Silver by
Foxy1982
Advantages: Reliable and has good features
Disadvantages: The so called Long lasting synthetic bag is not long lasting
...I have just had a quick hoover round my house, Whilst I was doing it I thought to myself this is a great little vacuum cleaner, So here I am now to heap praise upon my reliable little product.
The Vacuum Cleaner I have is the Electrolux Z4431. It is quite funky looking as vacuum cleaners go, It is silver and small and compact. Its easy to store away in the cupboard and looks very neat and tidy.
Now on to the features that make the Electrolux Z4431 such a great little vacuum cleaner:
Variable Power - This is a great feature as there is a dial where you can adjust the suction power of the vacuum cleaner, This is really handy as for things such as laminate flooring you can set it to low suction as it is easy for the vacuum cleaner to clean this kind of surface. However say you have a really thick carpet or rug and need a really...

Electrolux Fridge with Sparkling Water
Review of Electrolux ERES 31800 X by
madammadness
Advantages: Looks nice, Easy to clean, Dispenses cold water
Disadvantages: Cannot get gas for the sparkling water
...I bought this fridge in September 07 and it really is a very nice piece of equipment. It still looks brand new, even now. It's easy to clean, holds lots of stuff and the extra cooling area is handy for cooling cans. But for me, the feature that REALLY made me buy it was that I could connect it directly to my water filter and have cool sparkling water "on tap". I lapped it up :-)
However, less than a year later, I am unable to obtain any new gas cylinders or refill any of my existing cylinders. I have contacted Electrolux customer service and they have not been able to help. In fact, they gave me the run around! For this reason, I have to rate this item as "Very Poor", especially when you consider how much it cost. I wouldn't recommend you buy one of these fridges until Electrolux sort out the gas cylinder supply problem, Julie C...

Electrolux Petlover Vitess - I LOVE YOU!
Review of Electrolux Vitesse by
icirebla
Advantages: Very well designed machine that does what it claims to do
Disadvantages: None - though it is quite noisy
...I have fallen in LOVE!!! Previously I owned a Dyson but when it finally died I bought a Henry - Henry is great for wooden floors and stairs but hopeless on carpets - especially when like me, you have 4 dogs. I was browing on the internet when I saw an Electrolux Vitesse Petlover on sale reduced to £59.99. Well I did my homework and checked out the reviews and decided to try it out. .
Well I've owned the Electrolux Vitesse Petlover for about a month now and I can honestly say it's the best cleaner I've ever owned - Dyson doesn't hold a candle to it. It is the best designed machine I've ever used - all the tools are stored on the machine and are always close at hand and won't get lost. It cleans the carpets really well and also has a nifty little upholstery brush that is really easy to use. Other cleaners have upholstery brushes...

Ever wondered how good an Electrolux upright is?
Review of Electrolux Z2915 by
bgen
Advantages: Robust, reliable, very good suction, easy to handle
Disadvantages: Not very stable when using the flexi hose, no variable suction, no full-bag indicator
...Bought in Argos for £89 few months ago, this Electrolux vacuum cleaner has a rather classic design for an upright (at least compared to some, more futuristic, models from Dyson or even Morphy Richards), but its very nice amethyst satin finish compensates that and has contributed decisively (I have to admit that…) to my buying decision.
I was initially thinking of buying a mousy-type of vac cleaner in order to use it for the stairs or some corners where my old upright Hoover (no hose) is impossible to reach with, but browsing the Argos catalogue I’ve decided eventually to go for this ‘two-in-one” type of cleaner; brand reliability, combined with a reasonable price, made me to decide for this Electrolux vac cleaner.
First of all, I must say I am impressed with the way it cleans; it seems to glide across...

Electrolux Vitesse
Review of Electrolux Vitesse by
FrankBee
Advantages: Inexpensive, bag free, excellent suction
Disadvantages: Self-assembly (from Argos), feels cheap
...We needed an inexpensive bag free upright following the demise of old faithful. The Electrolux Vitesse looked appealing in the Argos catalogue and the manufacturer was a name we recognised.
The box containing the machine looked a little too short as it arrived on the counter. As you know you don’t get to see your purchase in Argos until you’ve bought it. When we got home and opened up you can imagine our complete surprise to find our new household friend was self-assembly. I don’t remember seeing this in any of the blurb but then I wasn’t looking.
I had to marvel at the precision moulded plastic which fitted together with amazing ease, unless it was my expertise which I doubt. Anyway I was quite proud that this was the first vacuum cleaner I had built. My wife, ever anxious to get “hoovering” roared off around the house following...

Electrolux Mondo 5106
Review of Electrolux Mondo by
Lexie001
Advantages: It is quite light and because of its small size it doesn't take up too much space. It also doesn't cost too much either
Disadvantages: Dust bags are quite small
...A vacuum cleaner is one of life's necessesities but one of the things I begrudge spending a fortune on (like a Dyson!)
We had previously had the little micro vacuum cleaners and as we lived in a flat with no animals it did the job. They had an average lifespan of about 18 mths but given that they only cost about £30 we could live with this. Fast forward a few weeks and we have moved into a house and our poor little Morphy Richards Jazz gave up the ghost. We have inherited a cat and now we need a cleaner with a bit more oomph to it.
I looked on the Internet for various reviews and as I was only prepared to spend up to £70 and only wanted a cylinder vacuum cleaner there was not a huge range to choose from. The Electrolux has had a mixed review but on the whole it doesn't seem too bad.
In my price range there were three...

AEG Electrolux Fridge
Review of AEG-Electrolux S 75358 KG3 by
Spottydog11
Advantages: Looks good, full of room, big doors, big shelves, easy to clean
Disadvantages: None
...I moved into my new house about a year and a half ago and as it came unfurnished needed to buy a fridge pretty quickly. Being half American I had always loved the big American Fridges that hold enough food for a family for about a year with a water filter on the front and an ice machine so I had this in mind when I went to Currys.
However as I found out these fridges are also quite wide and the space I had to put my fridge in was quite small which is when I came across the AEG Electrolux fridge/freezer. IT was £650 at Currys which I didn't think was too bad.
The first thing that attracted me to this fridge was the look and design. It's a free standing, chrome fridge so it's not plastic looking like some fridges. The outside is very easy to clean as it is just wipe clean. It has two section, the fridge portion and the freezer...

Electrolux 500 series - lightweight & durable
Review of Electrolux - 500 series by
djhendra
Advantages: lightweight, long-lasting, efficient
Disadvantages: no longer available - find one secondhand/reconditioned if you can
...The 500 series of Electrolux vacuum cleaners was one of the best they ever produced. Long since obsolete - though still available in reconditioned versions - they were lightweight, efficient, easy to use and easy to maintain. Bag changing was a breeze, and even the drive belts were quite easy to change yourself without calling upon the services of a trained engineer.
The last of the 'proper' 500 series vacs was the 560E, which was subsequently replaced by the new Twin Turbo range which borrowed some of the 500 design, but added the carefully-considered functionality of being crap.
They all do it, don't they? Take the old long-lasting designs and bin them in favour of new ones which don't last and thus generate better turnover.
What a sad place the world has become. Please rate this opinion before going to slit your...

Electrolux Z 7292 Cyclonic: Say bye bye to dust.
Review of Electrolux Z 7292 Cyclonic by
mor8060
Advantages: Strong enough to vacuum hair, dust, animal fur.
Disadvantages: None.
...I have a dog and 4 cats in my house. So its very important to have a strong vacuum cleaner.I tried before several products(I am not going to mention them here) but went in vain. Dog and cats hair were still in the carpet and it made me upset and dissapointed. Cleaning a carpet is really hard. The other vacuum cleaners had also some defects.Whenever I switched on they emitted dust from backside and the smell was awful. I had to open the windows to let fresh air fill inside the room. After that I decided to buy Electrolux Z 7292 and gave it a try. First I tried on my carpet.Wow the result was awsome. This vacuum is strong enough to vacuum hair from the carpet. Now I have no problems with my pets.I am happy because at least I can clean my carpets. What I like about this product is that it is not very heavy,it does not emit dust from its...
