...This review is baisicaly an account about my 5 week emplymen for Embassey CES, but to be fair I shall analyse it from various different angles because, you fault should be allocated sparingly and accurately. How did I come to hear about Embassey CES? Well being a student I often check out internet job sites for students and I saw the advertisement for an Activity Leaer on Justjobs4students.co.uk. A pleasent and user friendly website- dear I add. I had never apllied for a job before over the internet and was a bit weary about this company that I had never heard of- so I sent my email address to them so that I could apply for the job. ...Embassy Suites On a recent visit to California, I was booked into this hotel because it was close to places I had to visit for work. The hotel itself is only a short drive from the airport (it took about half an hour in a hire car, and not knowing where I was going) and is located in La Jolla which is apparently quite an affluent area, featuring banks and houses and hotels as well as restaurants and a rather nice shopping mall. It's easy to drive into the hotel and should you ask for it there is valet parking in the high rise car park, but I just parked round the back of the hotel. Once inside the hotel, check in was quick and efficient and I was immediately impressed with the well set out entrance lobby featuring some nice little touches such as plentiful flowers. ...Finding myself with a mid morning flight departure of 10am from San Francisco Airport meant I had to find accommodation close to the airport for our final night. Like most people, I don't particularly relish spending a night in an Airport hotel, as it seems to be far more a functional expenditure than it adding anything to the holiday. However as there was no avoiding it, we booked the Embassy Suites, San Francisco Airport, South San Francisco and decided we would arrive reasonably late in the evening so we could enjoy the final day touring through the wine country. ...All right, I confess. I go to science fiction conventions. If I was going to Phoenix just to sightsee, I would have chosen a haunted hotel like the Hotel San Carlos, but I was invited to Leprecon 29 and it was held at the Embassy Suites--Phoenix North location. Generally, it's harder for me to warm up to corporate hotels. They usually give courteous service, yet it is impersonal. The staff frequently lacks the pride of ownership an independently-run establishment does. Although the Phoenix North location is a big chain hotel with cookie-cutter decorated rooms, its amenities and perks make it stand out refreshingly different from others. Advantages: Natural ingredients, exfoliates and moisturises at the same time

...For years I’ve suffered from dry skin on the soles of my feet. I’d keep thinking that I needed to do something about it, but then I’d forget and just hide my feet away in socks and shoes and continue to abuse them. It was only when I started walking to work and back (about an hour’s trek in total) that I addressed the problem, and even then it was only because my Lush lady recommended Mask of Magnaminty as a two-in-one exfoliating mask and remedy for hot, tired tootsies. I was quite content with this solution, apart from the fact that it was very messy and time-consuming and as a result I’d tend to use the mask on a Sunday morning, when I can take my time in the bathroom, rather than when my feet actually needed seeing to. Advantages: Very scenic, very quiet slopes even at the weekends, able to ski off piste.
Disadvantages: Ski pass was as much as $50 per day each. 4 hrs drive from San Francisco and final hour is up in the mountains and scary in the dark and in a snow storm and fear of avalanche.

...We travelled to South Lake Tahoe for a skiing trip in March 2000. Embassy Suites, a bit pricey but worth every penny. Wonderful accommodation, staff very helpful, apre ski absolutely free from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Very big suite with separate lounge with television and microwave, bathroom big and dressing gowns supplied. Breakfast is served in the centre of the hotel and seen by all guests upon exit from their rooms on the ground level amongst the living large foliage. Breakfast was very varied but be careful not to pig out too much as skiing can be hard in the morning on a full stomach. Evening Restaurant in the hotel not very exiting but locally there are some great bars but beware, no smoking in any of the Californian bars. Dont worry Embassy Suites on the Nevada/Californian stateline so can smoke in the Nevada bars, restaurants... Read review

...*****How I ended up with this***** I popped into Lush a couple of weeks back because we were out of shampoo. While making my purchase the very cheerful and helpful woman serving me offered me a free tester of a product (this took my mind off of the fact that her happy nature was making me want to vomit!) we had not even mentioned in the conversation leading up to this kind offer. She pulled out a little lush bag with a cube of Running the Embassy in it. This is a product I have been meaning to buy for a while so I jumped at the chance. *****Running the Embassy***** This is a product for your feet. ...My feet have taken a real hammering lately, mainly from wearing impractical shoes! When I was last in Lush, I picked up a bar of their Running to the embassy foot scrub in the hope that it would sort them out a bit, and hopefully get rid of some of the horrible dry skin I have on my heels. Running to the embassy is described by Lush as a foot scrub, moisturiser and conditioner. It comes in a solid block rather than a liquid or cream and is pale green in colour (despite looking a muddy brown in that picture Ciao have provided!). I think the first thing that you notice about this product is its smell. It's mainly a strong minty smell, as this contains both peppermint and spearmint oil. ...This is a must for darts fans. Myself, and my partner have sat at home religiously from being small children and watched this unique event, until two years ago when we decided to try and get tickets to see it live. After applying for Embassy World Snooker tickets on several occasions, I envisaged this would be: a) expensive, and b) a 1 in a 100 chance of success. How wrong could I be? Discovering tickets for the whole of the final (4 nights) would cost me less than £50.00 (per person), I faxed my application across to the Lakeside. After a month I assumed I had been unsuccessful, not realising that the issuing of the tickets did not take place until September/October.
