...Jimmy Page really set the bar high with the recent Led Zeppelin DVD. That set was a faultless document of a 70s supergroup throughout its entire career, and here we have another "Dinosaur" group from those halcyon days, the "Classical Rock" pioneers Emerson Lake & Palmer, attempting to cement their place in Rock History for posterity via a marathon trawl through the visual archives. Do they achieve it? Well, yes I suppose they do...except that in my opinion, the place they have cornered for themselves is marked "Novelties and Musical Jokes". Yes folks, welcome to the Emerson Lake and Palmer show. A four hours plus, double disc Gift from the Gods/ Horrific monstrosity, depending on your view of Progressive Rock music. ...of the two only sure things in life and all that. Hence the horns that announce the start of this piece. So to 1976. The forgotten men of prog, Keith Emerson (keyboards), Greg "I Believe In Father Christmas" Lake (guitars) and Carl Palmer (bass), who lets face it, did have a tendency to take themselves a little bit too seriously, record this magnum opus, taking the opening and stretching it in that manner so beloved of 70's proggers. It's got a great rolling bass line, the timing is perfect, just as you would expect from classically trained musicians, and the trio get their groove on to a T. This is just a fabulous example of good musicians letting the jam take them where they want to go. The musos among you might even recognise the fade out as being copied by Nick Cave on The Birthday Partys "Release The Bats", ask me... Read review

Advantages: Reduces scars and stretch marks

...I bought Palmers Cocoa Butter when I recieved notice that I was pregnant with my first child about three years ago. All of my friends kept telling me "you are only 110 lbs....your stretch marks are going to be huge"! So I decided to take their advice they gave me on a product called Palmers Cocoa Butter. Advantages: You have to drink alot to get a hangover, cheaper then the other palmers beers.
Disadvantages: Its a bit weak, and not very exciting.

...Palmers Copper Ale: Alcohol content: 3.7% Brewed using English malted barley and golding hops. Palmers brewery is in Bridport, in Dorset. They brew a selection of traditional beers, and in my opinion the copper ale is the worst one. Palmers copper ale is the boys beer. The beer which wont really get you drunk unless you drink lots and lots of it. You are highly unlikely to ever get a hangover after drinking it, unless you are a bit of a lightweight. Prices range from about £2 a pint, to £2.50 a pint depending on where you go to drink it. If you go to one of the palmers pubs you are looking at £2.30/£2.40 a pint. The ale is a copper colour (suprise suprise), and if kept and the correct temperture and poured well, should have a slight head on it, and it should be clear. ...Palmers Massage Cream for Stretch Marks Upon falling pregnant I was petrified of my body turning into stretch mark central; where as a lot of unfortunate teens accumulated stretch marks during puberty I had been fortunate enough to escape such an occurrence and I didn’t want to get them now either. I bought my tube of Palmers Massage Cream for Stretch Marks from work for about £3.50 for 125g. The tube was white and stands approximately 8 inches tall, on the front as well as the brand name and informative text is an outline picture of a pregnant woman. Upon flipping back the life of the tube I could smell the contents, a mild coconut oil smell - that typical of the Palmers range.
