Wanna Fly, Then Fly Emirates
Review of Emirates Airlines - UAE by
majeedkazi
Advantages: Comfortable, Staff, Evrything..
Disadvantages: None i can think off
...If i have travel international i have travelled maximum time by Emirates Airlines. Emirates is a part of The Emirates Group from Dubai & it is the Ninth largest airline in the world. but for me its the best Airlines i have travel with & i think it will be for most of the time.
Well for me i have to travel with Emirates when ever i travel to India From UK as i get a staff ticket which is cheaper in price & that to Business Class which for me is far more cheaper compared to any airlines Economy Class. So this is the main reason i have been travelling most of the time by Emirates. But Emirates live upto my Expectation.
Emirates Started way back in 1985 earlier they were just flying from Dubai to Pakistan Or India. But in 1987 they started their services to Uk as well and since then no looking back for Emirates. Now they operate in almost...

Emirates horrible to Disabled
Review of Emirates Airlines - UAE by
hayhil
Advantages: NONE - worst airline I ever flew
Disadvantages: No assistance or seating for handicapped. Public Humiliation
...My husband and I flew Emirates recently and it was horrible. My husband is handicapped nd required assistance to the aircraft. We also requested bulkhead seat for him (both BA and American Airlines reserve these seats for the handicap by law). Emirates computer system does not allow this. So we arrived at the airport 3 hours early to get a bulkhead seat - we were the first passengers in line for our flight. Again the computer system did not allow assignment of the bulkhead seat. On the aircraft we noticed the bulkhead seats were given to healthy passengers who had checked in after us.
Emirates refused to reserve a bulkhead seat for my wheel chair bound husband on the return flight (the computer again!!). We agreed to upgrade my husband to Business Class. The airport staff initially refused to allow us on the flight because I...

Unsurpassed
Review of Emirates Airlines - UAE by
petehall
Advantages: Clean, comfortable, efficient and friendly.
Disadvantages: None known.
...I have flown with Emirates airline on many occasions and have never had cause to complain. The planes are always clean and comfortable, the cabin crew are exeptionally polite and helpful and the drinks are free of charge and there for the asking. I've always got the impression of more leg room but don't have any statistics to confirm it. The food is good and if you are flying to the far east you will almost certainly stop at one of the United Arab Emirates airports such as Dubai (see separate opinion) where the duty free is incredibly cheap. Flying with Emirates gives you the definite impression that they genuinely care about your well-being. I won't say they are unequalled because there are many airlines that I have never flown with, but in my flying experience they are certainly unbeaten....

One of my best journey is by Emirates
Review of Emirates Airlines - UAE by
ahassan_006
Advantages: Relaxing & comfortable journey
Disadvantages: hmm....
...I'm from Bangladesh and staying in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Every year I go to my country and each time I go with different airlines. I went with Saudi Arabian Airlines, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Pakistan Airways, Qatar Airlines and recently I went by Emirates Airlines.
I had a very pelasent experience with Emirates. With Emirates I went Jeddah to Dubai, and then to Dhaka. The flight leaving from Jeddah and landing in Dubai was on time, but it delayed an hour to take off from Dubai airport.
The plane (Boeing 777) seems better for me then other planes. But the interior of the emirate was not seems very high quality. Seats ware also congested. The foods were delicious. Air hostess were very helpful and friendly. I felt great entertainment in the plane by watching so many channels, movies, songs coz Emirates provide seat-back Entertainment...

Fabulous Airline
Review of Emirates Airlines - UAE by
babsbaby
Advantages: Big seats. Stop at Dubai. Entertainment system.
Disadvantages: None that I can think of
...I had the pleasure of flying to Australia last year on Emirates. We searched around for the best deal and the choice came down to Emirates and Garuda. Well, what with all the shenanigans in East Timor at the time, Indonesia was not the world’s favourite country, so we thought we’d take a look at Emirates.
The website is fairly simple. Not fussy, too busy or confusing. We learned that Emirates had been voted Airline of the Year and that the fleet of aircraft was practically brand new. It was only a few quid more than Garuda, so we went for it. What a good call!
There was more leg room in the economy class seats than I have ever seen on a jumbo jet outside business class. We were impressed with the lumbar support and foot rests. My 6 foot husband was comfortable for once. We also liked the personal seat back video...

My favorite airline
Review of Emirates Airlines - UAE by
coppinpr
Advantages: good central hub, good config on there planes
Disadvantages: not many USA routes
...Emirates airlines are certainly an airline that is going places, inmore ways than one. The big advantages of emirates are (1) there hub, Dubai is perfectaly placed as a world hub (though not as a USA stepping of place) This alows emirates to streamline there routes by using Dubai as changing stop. You want to go London to Hong Kong, Manila, Thiland, india, then you go on the standard flight to Dubai from london then change to the standard flight to your destination. This works extreamly well with ,usually , short turn round times in Dubai. The aircraft configerations on Emirates are also a step up, there recent Airbus 340 planes came to them over £1,000,000 more expencive than to some other airlines because they wanted a better spec. Ive flown , 1st, Business, and coach with them and all are better than average. !st and business anre very...

Pure Luxury
Review of Emirates Airlines - UAE by
lyster101
Advantages: games console and free drinks for all
Disadvantages: price
...Emirates is the most luxurious airline going. It has wonderful seats that are both comfortably and spacious. It has excellent all-round staff, delicious food and free drinks for everyone to boot.
The only problem is that is also one of the most expensive ones, I guess you get what you pay for though.
The first time I had the pleasure of travelling with Emirates was three years ago. In the back of the seats in front was a games console, this is in the Stardard class not the First class!! I have been thrilled every time I have flown with them since. Another touch they do is t show where you are, geographically which is a nice idea for long-haul flights which is when you have the chance to make the most out of the experience....

Emirates - A world class airline
Review of Emirates Airlines - UAE by
perera
Advantages: TV's in economy,
Disadvantages: Nothing that I can think of.
...Emirates are rated as an excellent airline in the form of its services and safety not to mention hospitality. It has won many ‘airline of the year awards’ and the reasons for it winning these awards are true. The food on the flight is really delicious and the in-flight entertainment is great. There are TV’s even in economy. The good thing about the airline is that say you are travelling from London to Sri Lanka, you can have a stop-over in Dubai and go duty-free shopping. The amount of cheap things including gold is great at Dubai Duty Free. The airhostesses/airhosts are very helpful and very pleasant and the aircraft is kept clean and feels great. It isn’t cramped for me. Although the prices may be higher for flying on this airline, it is probably well worth it for all those long haul flights where you have nothing to do....

Emirates experience
Review of Emirates Airlines - UAE by
mumno1
Advantages: Customer satisfaction, first class service, food etc
Disadvantages: Just a delay in departure but that is the norm anyways
...My husband had alreday travelled by Emirates on three flights, every time he returned I would hear rave reviews of the service and quality of the flight, cabin crew, treatment you get on board, how you feel, the food and so on and so forth, he would say that it was the best airline he had ever travelled on an trust me he has travelled a lot!
Anyway when the time came for me to travel on board Emirates I was a bit nervous, mainly because when my husband had travelled he had been alone but this time round we were accompanied by our two year old.
In the end it turned out I that I had been worrying for nothing, as soon as we stepped on board the cabin crew reassured me that they would be of assistance should I need it and my son was given a whole lot of activities to keep him busy on the flight.
Luckily though he just immersed himself...

Always fly to Aussie
Review of Emirates Airlines - UAE by
LukeyBoy
Advantages: Friendly Staff, Good Atmosphere
Disadvantages: Somewhat Expensive
...Travelling to Australia every year, I decided that I needed to stick with one airline after the first couple of times, and although of sometimes high prices I decided to go with Emirates on my third journey out there, and they did not lower my expectations.
Before I book a flight I always view their website and I look at the travel classes and descriptions and I still decided to fly economy class but I could not afford some of the other prices, I think that is the only draw back of the airline.
I had booked my flight on Emirates' own website and I had viewed pictures of the cabin and did 360 degree tours on the website just to see what my flight would be like. Another attraction that brought me to flying with Emirates was that it is based in Dubai and since a young age I had wanted to visit Dubai and with the stop over en route...
