Hotel Bahams - 3* 4* Thomson rating
Review of Fiesta Club Playa d'en Bossa, Ibiza by  hhuk

Advantages: nice, clean, out of the noisy part
Disadvantages: planes

...The hotel Bahams is part of the Fiesta club in Playa D'en Bossa. There are several sites nextdoor to each other that make up the group and share facilities such as tennis courts and football courts.I loved my stay in Hotel Bahamas! This was my first time in ibiza & im a passionate clubber! The room was very clean and staff were friendly. The food was excellent and i am quite particular about what i eat. We stayed half board and Breakfast and Dinner were self service buffet style. Foods inc - breakfast: selection of cerals, fresh fruits, yoghurts, crossiants & other bread choices, full english, selection of cold cut meats. Dinner: Rice, pasta, fish, vegetables, cold cut meats, bolognase sauce, chips, Hot meats, yoghurts, mousses, fruits, The hotel buildings are apartement style blocks with a balcony. Our room over looked the pool... Read review

CLUBBING CAPITAL OF EUROPE WITH BEAUTIFUL SCENERY
Review of Ibiza (Spain) by  sue.51

Advantages: Beautiful countryside, good weather
Disadvantages: Need to use caution when chosing resort

...gay friends, which although I have no prejudice (my best friend is gay), became a little bit too much, when some of them were hitting on the young kids in the hotels we were staying in, that I do not find acceptable. The resort is quite small, and the beach not too clean, but it is just a short walk away from Playa d'en Bossa, which has a lot more to offer in terms of shops, restaurants, hotels and a 25km beach. Both resorts are only about 10-15 mins away from the airport. It is also home to the water park where you can find the usual fayre of slides and pools, well worth a visit, cost about £40 for a family of three, although Thomsons offer some good deals in early and late season and also discounts within some of the hotels in the vicinty of the waterpark. EATING OUT Eating out in the resort was nothing spectacular and not cheap... Read review

Fiesta Paraiso Floral, Playa Paraiso
Review of Tenerife (Spain) by  pyela

Advantages: Hot, cheap and family friendly
Disadvantages: Timeshare

...available most of the day there was no fear of going hungry. (My husband opinion is my mother would twist on 21). The kids were entertained day and night by the resident Fiesta entertainment team as well at by the Thompson kid club reps. Hardly saw them all holiday. (My type of holiday). But it wasn’t only the kids that were kept entertained. Everyday around the pool there was organised activities around the pool. I managed to win a couple and be presented with a bottle of champagne? and a certificate. Made loads of new friends as well. The maids came and cleaned the room every day and changed the linen every other. The whole hotel was spotless. Only downside was the lifts. They didn’t always work and one night a family got trapped in one for about 10mins. A big problem if you were on the 16th floor but not so much... Read review

Ibiza Uncovered
Review of Ibiza (Spain) by  Jeff81

Advantages: Best clubs in the world and great weather in lovely surroundings
Disadvantages: Littering and drunken Brits

...of my ops again. So, here's the real Clubbers Guide to Ibiza... WARNING Before you proceed you may want to know that this op is quite massive, as you may have noticed from the toolbar, and you will probably be quite, no, very bored in under 20 seconds, if you think this may be the case then please leave now, once you've rated it VH, obviously. Come on, it took me ages. Now concentrate. The Ibizan nightlife is centred in four different locations on the island, San Antonio, Ibiza Town, Playa d'En Bossa and San Rafael. Each houses a different kind of nightlife and the clubs are spread between them. San Antonio is situated to the North of the island, Ibiza Town and Playa d'en Bossa to the South, and San Rafael slap bang in the middle. SAN ANTONIO: There are 3 different areas to San Antonio, the sunset strip, the West End... Read review

Cafe Del Ibiza
Review of Ibiza (Spain) by  Fluff-Buff

Advantages: Clubs, Clubs and more Clubs, breathtaking scenery
Disadvantages: Expensive

...romantic evening (a-hem!) PLAYA D’EN BOSSA Playa D’en Bossa has fabulous beaches and is home to the largest stretch of beach in Ibiza. The beach is divided up into areas (not literally but by the bars on it) into English and German. On the English part of the beach you have the fabulous Bora Bora. This gets going at any time of the day. We saw people dancing on tables in the middle of the afternoon. The atmosphere is electric. Definitely worth checking this out - free party, just the cost of your drinks! Space is also located in Playa D’en Bossa and is unusual in that it is an afterclub club - it opens at 6.00am and closes at 6.00pm. Non-stop party action all round. On the non-clubbing side, there are many bars, cafés and restaurants in the centre and most of the hotels are only a short walk from the beach. There is also... Read review

Myths Destroyed And Posh Words Abandoned.
Review of Ibiza (Spain) by  Muffin_the_Mule

Advantages: It's marvellous dear.
Disadvantages: I don't live there anymore

...pair of clubs Pacha and El Divino are both in Ibiza Town on the harbour. Space, the "Daytime Club" is in Playa D'en Bossa. It'd be a constant source of mirth to me and my fellow representatives the number of people who would roll up into our Hotels expecting a street full of clubs. HA bloody HA. Back in San Antonio Town and onto what I’d call the “Classier” area of the Town. (Not to say that the West End is a Dump, just to insinuate it enough so that you think it yourselves and feel guilty) By far the most famous bars in Ibiza are Café Del Mar and Café Mambo – both on the sunset strip. Pay twice the price for all drinks and cocktails as on the main street, or, do as I did for 7 months every Wednesday and go to the local Off License and buy a bottle of coke and a bottle of vodka, sit on the rocks in front of these bars enjoying... A Gem of a Resort
Review of Playa de la Arena by  staceycav

Advantages: Family friendly resort with a lovely Blue Flag beach
Disadvantages: Not suited for those looking for all night clubbing!

...games arcade called Caesar's Palace, which has a huge variety of games. This is directly opposite the beach. There is also cheap internet access here for those of you who cannot bear (like me) not to check their e-mail for a week! Last time I was there is 1.50 Euros (about £1) for an hour. About five minutes further up the coast from the beach is the plaza. This is where most events in the area take place. If you go in Mid-July you'll undoubtedly catch the annual Fiesta, which is a huge street party which takes place each July. If you miss Playa de la Arena Fiesta, it is worth looking into other village ones as both San Juan and Alcala are within 20 minutes by car and throw great Fiestas! There is a street fairground, lots of stalls and best of all, a massive firework display which is easily on par with Disneyland at New Year... Read review

The white Isle
Review of Ibiza (Spain) by  carminator

Advantages: Beautiful scenery, amazing clubbing experience
Disadvantages: The cost whilst you are there for clubbing

...to be classed as central location wise! Figueretas is close to Ibiza town and Playa D’en Bossa (where the most amazing beach is called Bora Bora) however it is on the opposite side of the Island from San Antonia, which for me was an absolute God send! It is located in the south east of the Island. Figueretas has a great mix of tourists and also a lot of gay people. I saw some very hunky gay Italians as well as some very sexy straight French men who were getting chatted up by the former, quite a spectacle to watch! It also has quite a beautiful beach, but nearly as beautiful as other beaches that we visited. The beach is a mixture of sand in some parts and rocks in others, the sandy parts have lots of restaurants and bars lining the promenade and a selection of little market stalls where you can buy anything from a football shirt to a hand crafted... Sun, sea, sand, sangria ... special holidays!
Review of Ibiza (Spain) by  sukeysukey

Advantages: fantastic weather, amazing scenery, and as relaxing or energetic as you want
Disadvantages: is it possible to be too hot?

...as particularly 'hippy' and the market is far to overcrowed to actually stroll around casually. The hippy market is in Es Canar and whilst there I would definitely recommend visiting Moes Tavern (a Simpsons theme bar/cafe) where I enjoyed a good Krusty Burger with a Duff whilst watching the Simpsons. My childish and immature side came out at the waterpark near Playa D'en Bossa (reached by bus from Ibiza Town). The water park isn't incredible but it passes a good few hours of fun and will keep kids (and immature 27 years olds) amused. Note though that after paying approx £12 to get in, you have to pay for sun beds, lockers (non refundable), and very expensive food (you can however get a passout and there are some nice places to eat on the road outside (near to Space nightclub, which will probably still be going loud when you're arriving... Sa Caleta Playa resort
Review of Sa Caleta Playa, Minorca by  francesca.sd

Advantages: family friendly. lolvey staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Safe
Disadvantages: None.

...Okay so this is infact my third attempt at writing this review because ciao keeps deleting it! Anyway… Menorca/Minorca♥ I thought that, in order to talk about the resort, Sa Caleta Playa I would need to just brief you on the island. Minorca is a small island and it’s one of the Balearics. Its neighbour is Majorca but it is nothing like Majorca. You can drive around Minorca in a day because it is so small. Minorca still has its traditional features and it nowhere near as ‘touristy’ as Ibiza of Majorca. Sa Caleta Playa Background info♥ Sa Caleta Playa is located in the town of Sa Caleta. This is a very small town about a 40 mins drive from the island’s capital- Cuidadella. Sa Caleta Playa is a First choice travel; agent resort. It is fairly small and right next to the beach. The apartments are pretty much in a row... Read review
