And they all look like that hideous picture above dont they? The Flying V guitar is typical 70's Flamboyance. Over the top, completely impractical and just a good laugh at society. Much like the Musicians of its time. Saying all of this, it was infact born in 1958 in the Gibson Factory. Although not really used until the glam rock and rock stadium days, the Flying V was created before anyone had heard of the Beatles and Buddy Holly was big business. The shape of it is unmistakeable. Advantages: A little known WW2 weapon
Disadvantages: Not a great deal to see

The war cabinet was under no illusion either about the impact of a second blitz on London. They couldn't deny the fact of the V1s as they were clearly visible, and audible, but the first V2 blasts were explained away as gas main explosions. So we had flying bombs, ballistic missiles - what was needed to complete a triumvirate of terror was a gun, capable of shelling London from the other side of the Channel 200 miles away. Advantages: The best weekend of last summer!
Disadvantages: Queues.

...I went to the V Festival last summer 2003 in Staffordshire. For my first festival I had an amazing time! The V Festival is produced by Virgin and is at two venues over an August weekend every summer, the two venues are Chelmsford and Stafforshire. The bands headlining last year were awesome. The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Queens of the Stoneage, Ash and Feeder but to name a few. There were several Arenas; The V Stage, the NME stage, the JJB and puma arena, The Strongbow dance arena and the Bacardi Bar. There are always wicked bands headlining at V, this year (2004) Pink and N.E.R.D are playing amongst many more! WE paid £70-80 for a weekend camping ticket. Advantages: Very small phone with lots of features

...Ok, its silver, and not much bigger than a penny chew, and flips open to reveal a dual-band phone almost identical to its predecessor the v3688. So what have those guys at Motorola been doing for the last couple of years apart from a quick respray in silver? Quite a bit, it would seem. My first ever mobile, 3 years ago was an "mr201" on Orange (a d140, to the rest of the world, I believe), and most Motorolas I'd seen since then had varied very little, including my v3688 I had 2 years ago, which feature-wise was almost identical to the mr201. Not so with the new V50, which seems to have been completely redesigned on the inside. Instead of each option taking up the whole screen and you scrolling (or "wading") through them with the arrow keys, the menus are now presented three options per screen and you scroll up and down. ...had a few. Most of the V-Drop set is made up of orange plastic track which just slots together, with a ramp bit that fits at one end and the Lift bit that goes on other. Basically once together it 'hooks' over your door and there's a lift -you pull a bit of cord which gets your car to the top on its little 'lift' platform, once said car gets to the top it whizzes down the long steep 7 FEET of track and FLIES off the ramp at the bottom - they go fast - even daddy had a play ! well good it was..lol You also get a cardboard hoop with flames on which slots into a little plastic stand but this got trodden on not long after I set it up so didn't see much use !!! Not all of the boys Hot Wheels cars would fit, mostly the ones with wide tyres but most of boys cars fit with no problems - and some of the other makes hes got fit the track too... Read review

Disadvantages: ...Getting split from my friends, having to carry a groundsheet, rain (and mud), transport, smokers, bands clashing, overpriced food

...Last year, I can’t remember why, I didn’t go to V2000 (probably mainly because I didn’t think much of the line up) but two of my friends, Ali and George (who to avoid later confusion I’ll point out now are both girls) did go and had a great time. This summer, obviously, they wanted to go again – although we considered Reading – but we decided Sunday’s V2001 bill was the best bet. Unfortunately the two of them were on holiday together in Devon the week before the festival (only coming back Saturday evening, which is why we only went Sunday) so despite the fact Ali was supposedly organising the trip, very little was actually planned – she was going to pick me up in her car on the way to George’s where we’d stop and think about trains! ...As a keen golfer myself who has risen from a 36 handicap to a 17 in 1 year, i have chnaged my clubs over and over again looking for the perfect club give me great feel, distance and one that when you pick it up looks great, well i believe this club does it all. Approximately 6 months ago, i was looking for a new 3 wood which gave me as much distance off of the turf (floor) as it did off of the tee, so I went to the local driving range to look for a average price 3 wood that compared to the top brands at the time, this of course being the new nike saquatch and the callaway big bertha. Brousing the shop i came across the Taylormade V-steel priced and £69.99 reduced from £149.99. As a good deal goes i felt drawn in by nearly £100 being reduced fromt he club and decieded to give it ago which wa probably the best decision of the night... Read review

...an aircraft, and you had to avoid flying too high, otherwise the radar would detect you, and avoid flying too low, or else the Anti-Aircraft guns would shoot you down. So tricky, that I had to have assistance from Uncle. Another game on the Amstrad was Tomb-something-or-other. An adventurer in a pyramid, stealing jewels and you had to avoid being touched by the mummies. I didn't really like that one. A wee bit too tricky for my liking. Then… a blur. I DO know we had a Commodore 64 (who didn't?). Bought a few of games for that one. A Pac-Man rip off, I think it starred Dizzy the Egg (anybody else remember that one?). A Batman adventure game. Never completed that one. I got pretty far, and it was a decent size. Ah, the memories. Tape loading! Each game would take a lifetime to load. Advantages: Its hot pink!!!

...In Quick ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬ This is something that I had got for Christmas, and up until a few months ago I wasn't a fan of Motorola as my past experiences have proved the Motorola software to be poor and pain to use. However, the fact that I was drawn to this phone was definetly becuase it was pink. So off to a flying start I delved in before Christmas day only when I recieved the approval of my boyfriend (the person giving me this phone as a gift) Straight away I found the V3 easy to use, I will admit the buttons were rather stange are they are all completely flat, so it is a little weird, but if you text as much as I do, then you're sure to get rid of that feeling fast.
