...I have been making regular trips to High Wycombe, and have struggled to find accommodation which is nice and reasonably priced. This is a fairly expensive part of the world, and the Travel Inns in the area are booked up 3-4 weeks in advance. After identifying the site: http://www.4hotels.co.uk - Worth a visit if you are struggling for somewhere to stay when travelling, the site lists an excellent range of primarily B&B's, but also hotels throughout the UK. From here I discovered The Imperial Hotel, Henley-on-Thames, which I was advised was a very upmarket and expensive town. The hotel is described as ".....this imposing, classical Edwardian building is situated in the Thames Valley in Royal Henley on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, which is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty....". Advantages: A taste from the man behind The Eagles
Disadvantages: A couple of flat tracks...

...Don Henley is, of course, better known to many of us as the front man and the voice behind The Eagles. After a 'Long Run' of Country rock hits throughout the seventies, the need to spread their individual wings by 1980 had become to great for most of the band. Henley was the most successful of the bunch although a fleeting brush with the law came his way before he could actually get any solo efforts of the ground. A young girl was found drugged in his home in California. He was fined, rather heavily and took some rehab to please the judge. Noticeably, it was a stumbling block in the shape of a thirteen foot brick wall and any solo releases were put on hold until the following year. However, fewer people are familiar with the solo work of the voice behind these tracks - namely, Don Henley.
