...My boyfriend and 3 friends have just got back from staying in the Hilton Sharks Bay hotel in Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt. This hotel has been awarded 4 * and has 317 rooms. ...Having just had a great holiday in Egypt, I thought I would do a review on the hotel we (my girlfriend and 3 friends) stayed in whilst we were out there. The Hotel is the Hilton Sharks Bay hotel and I will try and include everything I can remember. The Check-in This was very efficient and we were told to check in after we had been hurried to the main restaurant for something to eat as we got there so late as well. We had booked food for our rooms on arrival and after we had eaten, the sandwiches and fruit were in our rooms as well! (A tip - make sure your luggage is distinct, my trolley case was a bright baby pink and my mother's was lilac. They got to be markers letting the rest of the group know their luggage was on the way!) ...An eventful recent (March 2008) visit in order to compile this review, but more about that aspect later. This hotel is part of the international Hilton chain, and was chosen by my wife and I for a winter/spring weekend break for us along with our 16 month-old little boy. We have stayed at numerous Hilton group hotels previously in the UK and in other parts of the world and have usually been pleased with their standards. This was a 'last minute' booking, so we had to take what was available, and on initially being offered 'Coventry' we weren't too keen - we had visions of not talking to one another whilst we were there !! However I can say that we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was very easy to find, especially with a sat-nav! However without the aid of technology and relying on a good old-fashioned map... ...We booked the room online at www.Hilton.co.uk, Hilton guarantee that their best rates are available online. We booked a few months in advance and got a really good rate. Rates do change, at the moment double roms are £110 per night with guest room plus rooms £134. Because I boked well in advance i got a double plus room (gets a sea view, fluffy bath robes etc) for under £100. The Wbsite has info about the hotel including pictures of rooms etc The hotel is relatively modern with lots of car parking. When we checked in Reception was busy but was very efficient. All the public areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean On balance a hotel that I'm likely to stay at again. I stayed on a Sunday, arriving in time for Sunday lunch. The Restaurant, the Promenade, has a Carvery which was extremely good with starters of either soup or a help... Read review

...I went to the Hilton for 3 nights from 27th-30th December 08 during the Christmas period. I went with a friend and her family who had gone to the Hilton the previous Christmas. The rooms were £99 per night for 2 people which I thought was very reasonable. (Although I'm aware depending on season this cost can vary) This included bed, breakfast and a 3 course evening meal (the evening meal only on one night) My friend took charge of booking us into the room so I never discovered how easy it was to book yet I never heard any complaints about the process. Arrival and Check-in When we arrived at the hotel we were directed to an underground car-park. I wasn't too keen on the car park which comprised rows of 3 cars tightly parked together actually parking each other in! Our car was at the front yet I'm not sure how the third car back... Advantages: cheap, only 5 hours away, amazing weather, amazing sites!

...Me and my partner visited back in June this year for a week: we bought the whole package on Ebookers for just under £400 each which included flights and all inclusive accomodation. We flew with Monarch and had no problems at all with the check in, flight or baggage collection. We chose to stay in the Hilton's Sharks Bay Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. The hotel was lovely: it had 4 swimming pools, its own private beach and hosted alot of activites for the young and old! We usually started the day with a buffet breakfast in the hotel resturant and they provide a wide range of food from cakes and doughnuts to a traditional english breakfast! We would then make our way down to the pool and grab a couple of sunbeds and spend the morning soaking up the VERY strong rays! (Defnitely have your factor 30 at the ready!) ...Back in June I needed a hotel in Chicago for a single Saturday night before flying back from Chicago O'Hare Airport to London Heathrow late Sunday evening. I didn't fancy dragging heavy luggage and shopping all the way into the Windy City just for one night (which can take about 40-60 minutes from Chicago O'Hare Airport, read on for more info on this...) and then back out again to the airport the next day, so I decided to consider hotels near Chicago O'Hare Airport. ...The Hilton at Bromsgrove is a modern 3 star hotel with 138 rooms, situated about half a mile north of the M5/M42 junction. It's set in its own grounds in amongst trees and is a reasonably attractive hotel with parking facilities in the grounds, although residents do have to pay £3 a night to park. After passing through the entrance doors you find yourself in a spacious, clean and light lobby with an atrium and plenty of comfortable seating. There are a couple of computers for guests to use and the hotel has a BT Openzone WiFi hotspot which is useful if guests want to use their wireless laptop during their stay. ...I have just returned from a short trip to Wales and spent a couple of nights at the Cardiff Hilton during my trip. I know some people want to skim the info, so I'll start with a quick review, and then proceed into more depth for those who are interested!
