Reviews of hotel ibis
Ibis Paderborn (Germany)- Sehr Gut!
Review of Ibis, Paderborn by
gt5952
Advantages: Clean, Servicable, Friendly
Disadvantages: No Pool!
...Welcome to my review on the Ibis hotel, Paderborn.
Ibis.
Ibis is a parent name for many franchises world wide. Each hotel is owned and run by individuals trading as Ibis, complying to the companies standards and ethics.
Ibis has a base standard work line for all its hotels, and you will find a standardisation between all of them.
Ibis was the first hotel chain to earn ISO 14001 certification, the standard for environmental protection for such businesses.
Ibis Paderborn.
The Ibis in Paderborn (Nord Rhein Westfahlen, Germany) is located at the centre of the city, with ease of access to the shopping facilities, and all main British Military Barracks within the area (Allenbrooke and Barker Barracks)
It has 90 rooms with WiFi Internet, two meeting rooms, a bar, snack vending 24 hours, room service, private outdoor pay parking, private...

Ibis Amsterdam Stopera
Review of Ibis Amsterdam Stopera, Amsterdam by
ikkin1981
Advantages: Great location, cheap, clean
Disadvantages: Budget hotel
...I stayed at the Ibis Stopera in Amsterdam in April 2006 with two friends and would definitely recommend it for anyone who it looking for a budget hotel that can be relied on.
For anyone who hasn't stayed in an Ibis hotel before I would describe them as a superior travelodge. In other words, no matter which one you go to, you generally know what you're getting. Always clean and a good service. There was also a bar.
For three girls on a budget the Ibis Stopera was perfect as they have triple rooms available, this made it a very reasonable rate when split between the three of us - and this included breakfast (which was very nice). We had a lovely ground floor room which looked out onto the canal at the back of the hotel.
Location#
The Ibis Stopera is in a great location, a 15 min stroll from the train station and just around the corner...

Euston Ibis - a disappointment!
Review of Ibis London Euston, London by
andycrowley
Advantages: Cleanliness; pleasant main hotel and rooms.
Disadvantages: Apalling catering and service arrangements.
...We booked the London Euston Ibis for a one night stay at the end of May. We had previously stayed at many Ibis hotels in several countries on mainland Europe and had always been delighted with our experiences.
However, our first stay in a UK Ibis was a different experience altogether.
The hotel itself and our room could not be faulted.
However, where this hotel fails miserably is in its standards of service and its catering arrangements. Despite being told over the telephone that restaurant service was available until midnight, this was in fact 2230 which scuppered our eating plans for the Saturday night. There was a large wall mounted bar food menu that promised an adequate meal 24 hours a day. However, when we went to order, we were told that the wall menu was no longer in operation and had been replaced by a significantly reduced...

Cheap, clean and friendly staff
Review of Ibis Strasbourg Palais des Congres, Schiltigheim by
lobourse
Advantages: Not expensive, clean and comfortable rooms, restaurant on site
Disadvantages: Location not near centre of the town, slightly spartan
...12 times a year, I spend Monday to Thursday in the Alsacian city of Strasbourg, as my main place of work relocates in accordance with Treaty provisions agreed by all the governments of the European Union. Leaving aside the huge waste of resources this entails and the enormous carbon footprint of the whole exercise, it is a chore and a source of great strain for those of us who have to endure it. The hours are long, and since the people one is with in the evening are your work colleagues, you never feel off duty. Additionally, since for 12 weeks of the year the city has a massive influx of people, the availability of hotel rooms is severely tested, and I have tried various options over the years. Most recently, I have been staying at the Ibis Strasbourg Expo Congres in Schiltigheim, which is the subject of this review.

Ms Marian Wickliffe
Review of Ibis Geneve Aeroport, Cointrin by
acinom
Advantages: Location
Disadvantages: Lacked decor, unprofessional staff, inadequate restaurant
...I have just arrived back from a short stay at this hotel in Geneva.
The location is convenient, five mins from the airport and ten from city. But unfortunately that is about all I have to say in its favour.
It is very basic, staff are unprofessional and rude, down to smoking in the reception area and consuming alcohol in the bar area, when supposed to be on duty. It does not make a good impression I am afraid.
Food on the evening menu is overpriced and absolutely disgusting, to be frank. We dined very well in the old city area for similiar prices to what this hotel was charging. We took breakfast in the Nash airport hotel next door which was lovely as we would not even consider having breakfast in the Ibis, after a bad experience with the dinner menu. I strongly advise, choose another hotel....

Ibis Paris Roissey Charles de Gaulle Paris
Review of Ibis Paris Charles de Gaulle Paris Nord 2, Roissy-en-France by
jdeacon_162
Advantages: Value for money
Disadvantages: High demand
...Everyone has heard of Ibis hotels, but not many people are aware that they serve other countries worldwide, such as France.
Ibis Paris Roissey Charles de Gaulle Paris is a modern 4-storey building which was built with tourists in mind in the 1980s.
This hotel is perfect for any occasion, whether you're staying the night before/after your flight, or looking for somewhere to stop-over to visit Paris city centre! Situated 2.5km from the CDG airport, this 304 room hotel is perfect for families on a budget. The prices are standard for Ibis htoels, with a room costing
between 66-84 Euros (£45-56) during the week - depending on the time of year and 66 Euros (£45) at weekends. Although this
may seem quite a lot for an airport hotel, its a lot less than other hotels in the are are charging, and you have to bear in mind the demand for hotels...

IBIS Hotel
Review of Ibis London Euston, London by
purple_twix
Advantages: Good prices
Disadvantages: No, Sky TV ha! ha!
...In January I went to see Justin Timberlake in concert (again) this is my 3rd time. I and my Sister Lizzy (Hello love) didn’t want to travel home again after the exciting show so we decided to stay in a Hotel.
We went looking for a Hotel and found the Ibis Hotel. It was fairly close to Piccadilly station which was very convenient for us.
We went into the building and it all looked very nice. There was a bar and lots of tables and seating areas, and at the back of the entrance was the reception.
We booked a room for 2 with no problems. The room cost £46.00 for the night which we found very good as we were splitting the cost. £46.00 is the standard rate for weekends. For week days it is still only £48.00.
We paid the money in cash, you can also pay by credit or debit card. They then gave me a form to fill in. I had to write my Name...

Best Budget Hotels in London
Review of Ibis London Euston, London by
sandrabarber
Advantages: Stylish, Clean, Excellent Staff
Disadvantages: None for me
...I'm a big fan of Ibis hotels and stay in them for both business and pleasure. I had, however, read a bad opinion of the London Euston branch, so when I found myself needing to stay in Euston the other night it was with slight trepidation that I booked the Ibis. I was hoping that my several excellent experiences of the Ibis chain would hold out against the one bad experience I'd read about.
LOCATION
The Ibis London Euston is in Cardington Street, literally at the side of Euston Station. Weary travelers can depart their train and be at their hotel in one minute.
Once in Cardington Street you can't miss the Ibis - it is a bright, stylish, continental looking building in an otherwise unprepossessing grey road.
Unlike many London hotels, the Ibis Euston has a car park at the rear, and if drivers follow signs to Euston Station...

The mobile home on the road
Review of Ibis Hotel, Bonn by
angel6985
Advantages: Cheap, easy to find, modern, friendly staff, clean...
Disadvantages: Too popular???
...Just had a long holiday floating around Europe, been to over 10 cities, 6 countries in total. On the road, especially for holiday - which is meant for relaxation, the last thing I'd want to do is to worry about where to lodge after a day's out.
A colleague recommended the Ibis Hotel. This is a chain hotel under the Accor group, which consists Ibis, Novetelle, Hotel Mercury and a few more. Ibis are mostly 2 stars. But for me, it's better than 4 star.
Talking about hotels, the first thing I go for is comfort. Ibis Hotel certainly gives me that. Its characteristic is its modernisation. Being a city girl, this makes me feel like home. The rooms are generally not too big, but enough space to be in. Most of the time the beds takes half of the space – fairly big beds, which makes it even more comfy. Apart from the beds...

Etap Amsterdam Airport
Review of Etap Amsterdam Airport, Amsterdam by
virgo219
Advantages: Clean, comfortable, cheap and cheerful
Disadvantages: No safe in room, No drawers
...Etap is part of the French Accor Hotels Group which operate under several names. and comes into the budget bracket, Etap has at present 311 hotels dotted all over Europe, but mainly in France
Etap Amsterdam Airport opened in early 2003 and like several of Etap's hotels it is within walking distance of an Ibis Hotel.
The price at this hotel is 55 Euros per night and an extra 5 Euros for continental breakfast which is buffet style, but a little bit basic. Coffee is typically paint stripper French Style. There were white and brown soft rolls, white & brown bread (British Toast Size), European Toast Bread, Jam, Chocolate Spread, Honey, Peanut Butter, Spreading Cheese, and the last 2 days there was a choice of pates. On the beverage side there was tea, paint stripper coffee, hot chocolate, fruit and herbal teas, milk and fresh orange juice...
