Reviews of hotel ibis paris
Ibis Paris Roissey Charles de Gaulle Paris
Review of Ibis Paris Charles de Gaulle Paris Nord 2, Roissy-en-France by
jdeacon_162
Advantages: Value for money
Disadvantages: High demand
...Everyone has heard of Ibis hotels, but not many people are aware that they serve other countries worldwide, such as France.
Ibis Paris Roissey Charles de Gaulle Paris is a modern 4-storey building which was built with tourists in mind in the 1980s.
This hotel is perfect for any occasion, whether you're staying the night before/after your flight, or looking for somewhere to stop-over to visit Paris city centre! Situated 2.5km from the CDG airport, this 304 room hotel is perfect for families on a budget. The prices are standard for Ibis htoels, with a room costing
between 66-84 Euros (£45-56) during the week - depending on the time of year and 66 Euros (£45) at weekends. Although this
may seem quite a lot for an airport hotel, its a lot less than other hotels in the are are charging, and you have to bear in mind the demand for hotels...

Hotel Ibis Ornano, Montmartre, Paris
Review of Ibis Ornano Montmartre north, Paris by
tinabee
Advantages: Great value for money, great location and easy access
Disadvantages: None
...This hotel is great value for money.
Situated very near to Montmartre it is an ideal base for seeing Paris on a budget. With good Metro access (Porte de Clignancourt) is only a couple of minutes walk, it is easy to get to from any of the main railway stations and easy to reach all of the attractions of Paris by Metro or bus.
In the immediate area, there is a special bus service that will take you up the hill to Montmartre for a visit to the Sacre Coeur and the Place due Tertre where artists still gather. Then hop back on the bus to go to down the hill to the Place Pigalle, location of the Moulin Rouge.
A Paris Visite travel card (available for 1 to 5 days) will give you travel on buses, Metro and trains across all of Paris.
With many other attractions in the area, the Hotel Ornano is well situated for great bars and bistros, just...

Kyriad la Villette in Paris
Review of Kyriad Hotels (France) by
Nelly123
Advantages: Clean, well maintained, price is okay
Disadvantages: Tiny rooms, very limited on space
...Corentin Cariou was about 250 metres away. Yet, if I was going to Paris again, I'd book a different hotel - possibly an IBIS, which costs about 59 Euro without breakfast. IBIS hotel rooms are very standardised and even though not downright spacious, they give you sufficient room for luggage etc....

Formule 1 Paris Porte de Montreuil, Bagnolet
Review of Formule 1 Paris Porte de Montreuil, Bagnolet by
jdeacon_162
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: No bathroom
...This is another hotel from Accor, the company behind Ibis and Etap. But if you thought the latter were low budget hotels, wait until you have heard about this one!
If you are travelling to another location by car or by plane and need somewhere to rest, this is ideal. As the crow flies, the nearest airport is le Bourqet, which is about 10km away but Orly is only a short drive more.
Sitaued just off the Boulevard Péphérique, this hotel is good for overnight stays, but nothing else. The area in which the hotel is situated isnt anything special; grafitti sees to be a common feature in the roads surrounding the hotel. However, the hotel iself is fairly pleasant, with the rooms being rather modern and usually pretty clean. This complex has 228 rooms, but only 14 of these are non smoking; so if this is a priority for you, i suggest you book...

Hotel Ibis Montrouge
Review of Ibis Paris Porte d'Orleans, Montrouge by
fransdxxx
Advantages: Good location, clean, safe, friendly multi-lingual staff
Disadvantages: A bit basic, rooms were quite small.
.... There is a "Buffalo Grill" about 10 minutes walk too which is like a chain restaurant which specializes in meat dishes. The staff here are very friendly and the wine is cheap.
I cannot remember how much it cost to stay in this hotel. But you can find it on the Ibis website. I think that if you want to see Paris then staying in this hotel is fine if that's all you want to do.
Overall hotel rating 6/10...

Paris in Summer
Review of Paris in general by
Ka22a
Advantages: warm in summer, romantic, architecture, street cafes
Disadvantages: street entertainers wanting money for nothing, Hotel Favart
...My boyfriend and I travelled by Eurostar to Paris last summer and I can truly say it was the most wonderful holiday we have ever experienced. Disneyland Paris was the first stop and it is far more attractive than its American counterparts. We had to take the metro to Paris and carrying our luggage up four flights of escalators was a struggle, but it was worth it.
Our first hotel was a great disappointment - Hotel Favart. It was a total dump and we were only allowed to leave and cancel our reservation after I flooded the lobby with tears.
A very fast taxi journey took us to Hotel California on Rue de Berri, just of the Champs Elyesse. I will never forget turning the corner at the Place De la Concorde and seeing the Arc de Triomphe for the first time. Forget the Eiffel - Paris is about architecture and the Arc is incredible.
I could go...

Etap Hotel Paris Porte D'Italie, Kremlin Bicetre
Review of Etap Hotel Paris Porte D'Italie, Kremlin Bicetre by
jdeacon_162
Advantages: Price
Disadvantages: Quality of rooms
...This is another hotel from Accor, the founders of Ibis. However i am reviewing the Etap hotel situated on the outskirts of Paris, within an area known as Kremlin Bicetre. In this area, you have the choice between an Ibis hotel, a Novotel and the Etap, as well as various other smaller establishments, of which the Etap is by far the least expensive. The Etap Hotel Paris Porte D'Italie is split into two buildings; Ouest (west) and Est (east). Whereas the western hotel has 144 rooms, the eastern has 171. However both offer the same value for money. But please remember these are low budget, no frills hotels so don't expect to be living in the lap of luxury!
The French Etaps are cheaper than those in the UK and will only set you back 48 Euros (around £33) per room per night. But bear in mind there is a 3 Euro suppliment for the second...

Right in the Centre of Brussels
Review of Hotel Ibis, Brussels by
Wiseguy
Advantages: Lots of TV channels, right in the middle of Brussels.
Disadvantages: Only that they don't do more than one single bed to each room.
...This hotel greatly enhanced the enjoyment of my stay in Brussels over Easter weekend in Brussels. The first thing that hit me when I entered the room, was that there were not three single beds for me and my two brothers, but one single and two doubles. I had encountered the same problem whilst staying in a hotel Ibis in Paris a few weeks ago. After a little discussion with management, it emerged that Ibis does not do more than one single bed in each room. Reluctantly, we agreed to stay, and when we say what television channels they had, our minds were made up. They somehow had BBC 1 and 2, and they also had quite a few good American channels. Amusingly, they also had a few adult channels pay per view or course, and they gave assurance on their guide that no reference would be made for the choice of film (this was topic of a good laugh...

Feel like an Englishman in Paris
Review of Libertel Terminus Nord, Paris by
carmen999
Advantages: see text
Disadvantages: price
...HOTEL LIBERTEL TERMINUS NORD.
Last week, I was sent to Paris for a course (yes, I am lucky sometimes). We had to stay overnight, so a hotel was booked. It was just opposite the station, Gare du Nord, where we arrived with the Eurostar ( pub cue: here you could read my op about, ding dong). So very convenient.
The building and decoration are beautiful, in a Victorian style. There are 237 rooms well sized. Mine had 2 different areas : bedroom with 2 single bed together(?), side tables, cable TV, wardrobe and dressing table. There was a separate lounge with 2 armchairs, coffee table, desk and chair, mini-bar and a second wardrobe.
It included all the usual commodities: coffee/tea facilities, toiletries, hairdryer, safe, telephone, double-glazing (centre of Paris, but you could not hear a fly).
The bathroom was well lit, with a large...

Cheap and cheerful
Review of Hotel des Arts Montmartre, Paris by
JennyA
Advantages: Central, cheap, quiet
Disadvantages: Small rooms, no on -site restaurant
...This Hotel is close to the centre of Paris, and at less than £20 a night is a marvellous find. Close to many of the grands magasins, as well as hundreds of colourful individual shops, it is a perfect base from which to explore Paris.
Although the hotel rooms were not the most spacious ever encountered, all were en-suite and cleaned thoroughly everyday. Covered in posters from various 'spectacles', and with a parrot in residence in the foyer, l'Hotel des Arts was truly welcoming and well worth visiting. Local restaurants - of many different nationalities - were cheap and the friendliness of this part of Paris cannot be underestimated. Although the hustle and bustle of Parisian life was at the end of the street, the enclosed nature of the road meant that noise wasn't a problem.
All in all a cheap, friendly place to stay in Paris...
