...Bear in the big blue house, a program I had never heard of until a neighbours son ranted and raved that he wanted it on! Now my son is pretty much the same, including at the weekend when it isn't on! My son is 2 years old and sits absolutely captivated for 20 minutes every weekday morning from 8am until 8.20. Why?? The appearance of a seven foot bear and his friends, affectionately known as 'the guys'! Bear in the big blue house is a Jim Henson Company creation, about the aforementioned friendly bear, who lives (unsurprisingly) in a big blue house, along with an assortment of pals. Ojo the small teddy bear (not sure of gender), tutter a bizzare (small) blue?? mouse, pip and pop, 2 of the craziest (purple) otters i have ever seen! not to mention, treelo a green (?) racoon, shadow a shadow girl that tells stories and lunar, bears... ...Reel Big Fish Live at the House of Blues is a music DVD recorded in 2003, and is one of a series of "The Show Must Go Off" DVDs produced by Kung Fu Records. Although the concert begins with a few hiccups, it soon becomes clear why the band have such a devout following of "skankers". You really get a feel for the energy and buzz of the audience they are playing to, and you feel as though the band actually enjoy each other's company as well as the recognition they get for their music. In my opinion, the DVD is 105 minutes too short, and although watching a DVD of a gig would never be the same as attending it for real, I know that each time I watch it I will notice something new, and take away some of the infectious happiness that they omit every minute that they grace the stage. The courtyard is very pretty with its cobbled stone around a beautiful tree in the centre, with blue benches encircling it and big pots with blue Hydrangeas in. From the courtyard you can reach all the toilets, the café, the gift shop and the main entrance to the house to start your tour. Before starting our tour around the house it was time for a pit stop and to check out the toilets, which are very modern, yippee we did not have to go over a hole in the ground, like they did in primitive times. ...to ward of rats is a myth, as they climb. Availability # # # # # # Blue Chip are very good in that, if you phone and pay over the phone by credit card, they will deliver the Blue Chip the next day. However, this is not much good to most horse owners as they would deliver to my house and I would not always be in. The feed merchant accross the road from the stables wil order it for me but I have to ask. I prefer being able to pop over and buy feed as I need it. Incentive Scheme # # # # # # # # # # Bags of Blue Chip have tokens on which can be exchanged for clothing, saddle cloths, baseball caps etc. I love something for nothing but it takes a while to collect enough tokens and the feed is expensive so it doesn`t feel like something for nothing. ...My name is VickyVickster and I am addicted to Bear in the big blue house. Don't laugh, it's true! I blame it all on my sister! Ok i'll explain. Are you sitting comfortably? This could take me a while. Whilst staying back at my parents house at Easter earlier this year, I sat and watched Playhouse Disney with my sister (who is 19 yeares old by the way) and although she does this on a regular basis anyway, my excuse was my little baby girl Bethanny (then around 5 months old) Anyway we got hooked. I found out it was on channel 5 at 8 am in the morning so it soon became a morning ritual, we'd watch "Bear" before we'd eat breakfast. So that leads us to now and here I stand before you a confessed "Bear" addict. I shall tell you all about my addiction, which of course I promise not to enjoy and use as a cathartic... Read review
