The men from oz
Review of Australia by
fhrgill2
Advantages: The best in the world and have no weaknesses
Disadvantages: May be complacant as shown against India
...With the ashes tour this summer a lot of attension is going to be on the Aussies. Everyone expects England to put up a fight (as well as me) but The men from Oz will go in to the competition red hot favourites to retain the ashes for yet another year.
However there is some hope for England. The Austrlian team did show that they weren't unbeatable when the Indians came back magically from being forced to follow on by the Aussies to winning the test match in India. Whether this was a fuke or not we will see in this ashes tour.
Steve Waugh leads his men against Nasser Hussain's england team in the five tests at Lords, Edgbaston,Old Trafford, Headingly and the Oval.
England have shown that they will not be overault by facing big teams win successive test match wins against the Sri Lankans, West Indians and the Pakistanies twice...

EVERYTHING ABOUT THE INDIANS...
Review of Everything that starts with I ... by
GIRLFRIEND_FROM_GERMANY
Advantages: E.g. Their culture..
Disadvantages: E.g. The destruction of their culture..
...the government there treats it as a drug. For the followers of the peyotism, the peyotl is a sacred plant which was taken to earth by god to help the Indians. It has to show them the lessons of god. In the rules of the peyotism, the family of the Indians is the most sacred and important thing, anyway the earth and every product of the nature is a blessing which has to be respected. They also think that alcohol is a terrible thing which has to be avoided.
The Sundance

The Sun Dance was the most spectacular and important religious ceremony of the Plains Indians of 19th-century North America. Ordinarily held by each tribe once a year usually at the time of the Summer Solstice. The Sun Dance last from four to eight days starting at the sunset of the final day of preparation and ending at sunset.
It showed a continuity between life...

Ten little Indians....
Review of And Then There Were None - Agatha Christie by
Nikki1979
Advantages: great plot, chilling, well written
Disadvantages: no particular detective
...that 10 different people have been invited to the island for different reasons for the summer, all by a Mr U.N. Owen.
*The "Invitees"*
These are really the only people in the book, save but a few extras:
1. Thomas Rogers; invited to be a butler for the summer.
2. Ethel Rogers; wife of Rogers, invited to be a cook/housekeeper for the summer.
3. Dr Armstrong; asked to visit Indian Island to give a health report on UN Owen's wife.
4. Miss Brent; asked to the island by someone she was at a guesthaven with 2 years ago
5. Mr Blore; asked to the Island to investigate one of the people
6. Mr Justice Wargrave, asked to the island by an old friend.
7. Vera Claythorne; employed to work for the summer as UN Owen's secretary
8. Captain Lombard; paid to attend the summer as a protector
9. General MacArthur; invited by some of his old friends
10. Tony...

The atmosphere of an Indian spice market
Review of Lipton Indian Spice Tea Bags by
Kingseany
Advantages: Tastes nice, smells nice
Disadvantages: No good if you hate tea
...It's been ages since I wrote my last tea review. No I haven't stopped drinking tea, just been sticking to the normal stuff recently. However, now summer has got into full swing, I like to try a few new flavours out, this one is Lipton Indian Spice.
The Box
**********
20 Tea Bags in this 36g box, making a each bag 1.8g in weight, that's a little bit less than the usual 2g bags. I wonder if adding all those .2g's up, Lipton make a little extra profit. Anyway, the box is your usual 20 bag box, with a flip lid and a hole in the top so you can see how many are left without opening it. It'sa sort of purply red colour, and an Indian cloth design on the front and top. The Lipton logo and the words Indian Spice are prominently displayed on the top and front too. The bottom tells you that the ingredients are 98% tea, and 2% red fruits and aroma...

The B-Sides compilation
Review of Summer Son - Kula Shaker by
yhwman
Advantages: If you've not got any singles you get some more classic Kula
Disadvantages: There are better B-Sides not on this album
...Summer Sun is a collection of Kula Shaker B-Sides mainly from the K era. For some unknown reason there are two versions of Govinda on this album. The first is the radio version, while the second – Hari & St. George is a version with the Indian element cranked up that was originally a Govinda B-Side. It’s interesting, but not as good as Tattva on St. Georges Day, which is Tattva with the Indian element enlarged. Gokula, is also from Govinda’s B-Sides, though is a completely different kettle of fish. Co-written with George Harrison it’s a contender for Kula Shaker’s greatest track ever and deserved more than B-Side obscurity. Raggy One is a more psychedelic composition that originally was on Hush. Finally, there’s Troubled Mind, taken from Tattva, which is a gentle acoustic track. Overall this album is good but way to short, you may want...

What's the chances of us ever going up?
Review of Wolverhamton Wanderers by
ChrisCooper
Advantages: No pressure, maybe just maybe we can make it.
Disadvantages: Our players and fans have lost confidence in our chance of success.
...The answer to the title is very slim! Last season, like every other in the last 5 or so years, we were the frustrated bridesmaids (adrift from the play-offs by one place and 2 points). Wolverhampton Wanderers should have abandoned all hope of reaching the Premiership. Ade Akinbiyi certainly did, with them at least: hence a 5m move to Leicester City. Wolves will miss him, particularly as George Ndah i struggling with fitness. They do have a good bank balance at the moment though. Andy Sinton and Steve Sedgeley are enjoying the most Indian of summers and Lee Naylor displays more promise with each game he plays. Now the pressure is off- few place them among promotion favourites- the Wanderers might just wander into the Premiership (Yes i know its a corny last phrase but wat the hell!)...
