Jet Li Kickass
Review of Jet Li - The Defender/Jet Li - The Enforcer DVD by
shintai88
Advantages: 2 movies in one, bonus trailer footage, two audio language if you can't stand dub.
Disadvantages: None i can think off sorry.
...Reason why its excellent to me is because both movies the defender and the enforcer were both really good movies, the first movie the defender, Jet Li plays the part of a chinese PLA officier trained as one of the worlds best body guards, train in a series of martial arts with weapons training. His mission is to protect a girl who witnesses a murder conducted by a traid lord. During his mission he works along side two hong Kong Police officiers, along with the girls younger brother. The triad lord hires a series of assasins from Mainland China two of which are brothers who are ex-PLA soldiers. One of the brothers are killed by Jet Li and the younger brother comes after jet Li for revenge.
The second movie the enforcer, Jet Li is a chinese agent, who goes into Hong Kong undercover as part of a triad ring, leaving his song and wife...

Rise To The Honour Of Jet Li
Review of Jet Li by
DBZKing
Advantages: Stunts | Chapter Selection | Kung Fu | Shooting | Graphics
Disadvantages: Not too sure at this time!
...As some people know, Jet Li is a movie star, does kung fu movies like The Legend 2, and Cradle To The Grave, but now he has finally got round to doing what most kung fu actors don’t do… his very own computer game, action with the comedy also… which makes one of the best type of games.
Jet Li is Kit Yun, an ex undercover cop, who becomes a bodyguard to his girlfriends father, Chiang. Who happens to fall into loads of trouble, and ends up reuniting with his best friend and girlfriend. To save the world once again from big trouble in Hong Kong.
This game is called Rise To Honour, done by Jet Li, and all the crew. The simulations on this game are just excellent, all the fighting against the goons, and make your way through 2 different countries, San Francisco, and Hong Kong.
There are 3 type of game plays which you get to have fun...

The One Jet Li x 2
Review of The One (Wide Screen) by
vialdana
Advantages: Interesting Special Effects, Film Flows well, Decent Special Features on the DVD
Disadvantages: It's not an award winning type of film.
...‘The One’ Starring Jet Li is not a film I would have picked out to watch. I’m not a fan of martial arts films and I do have a tendency to just think, oh another Jet Li film, it must be a martial arts film, so I won’t enjoy it. A friend lent my husband this film, and having nothing better to do on the evening he sat down to watch it, I joined him on the sofa, and I have to say I’m mighty glad I did.
**The Plot:**
The setting is ‘The Multiverse’ – a series of parallel universes. From one, a man has escaped and is hunting down ‘himself’. Sounds odd, and it is. The idea of a multiverse has been covered many times within sci-fi, but to my knowledge never before in quite this way. The idea here is that there is a finite amount of energy per person and it is split between each version of you that exists. One version of one person...

Jet Lee is impressive as always
Review of Jet Li - The Legend 2 DVD by
tayloa22
Advantages: combines great humour and Kung-Fu, like some Jackie Chan movies
Disadvantages: possibly looking a little dated now
...When released in Hong Kong this film was Officially titled The Legend Of Fong Sai Yuk part 2. This film is classic early Jet Lee and the fight scenes etc are similar to those in Once Upon A Time In China. This film is based on a real rebel legend and Chinese hero called....you guessed it, Fong Sai Yuk. This period film has something great about it, other than just the great fighting. The realationship between Fong Sai Yuk {Jet Lee} and his mother is classically comedic. These two are like a chinese Abbot and Costello, and I wonder if Jackie Chan got some of his influences from movies like this one. Other areas of humour are Fong Sai Yuk's love interests and the trouble that ensues. The film continues the story of the young Fong Sai Yuk still following in his fathers footsteps, who also was a Chinese rebel. Fights are very good...
