jo malone "miracle" eye cream
Review of Jo Malone Green Tea & Honey Eye Cream by
piersporterh
Advantages: excellent results, reduces puffiness
Disadvantages: expensive
...Wow, Wow, Wow!! That is all I can say about Jo Malone green tea and honey eye cream. I have always been a bit sceptical when it comes to using eye creams, i always thought they were over priced with no visible results .... until I used this.
I actually received this eye cream as a free sample with a purchase from ebay and didn't give it a second thought until I read an article and realised the great reputation Jo Malone products had.
My sample was actually a 3ml tub which does sound minute but a little does go a long way. The cream contains green tea which is naturally rich in anti-oxidants , vitamin c and also honey to help with puffiness and under eye circles. I dabbed a little on after cleansing before I went to bed, I didn't really have any expectations but was pleasantly surprised the next morning. The delicate skin...

Jo Malone gorgeousness.
Review of Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Bath Oil by
starsforlovers
Advantages: Lasts for ages and smells wonderful.
Disadvantages: Price!
...Jo Malone used to be the perfume brand of choice for every Sloane Ranger around but the girls got her groove back and her products are flying off the shelves.
It's no wonder, the girl knows her stuff and it's hard to find more fabulous fragrances around. If you dont want to smell like every other woman standing on the bus this is for you :)
I usually wear Pomegranite Noir (the scent) anyway but am so hopelessly obsessed with it that I had to indulge in a little extra. The matching body oil was perfect, something soft and delicious to sink in after a long day.
If you're not lucky enough to have a store/one that stocks JM near you, fear not! You can order online- http://www.jomalone.co.uk/site.nsf/shop/ProductsPage?readform&subcat=CAT000 6&cat=bathoil&product=PROD0337 If you're in London, my personal fave is the Selfridges...

A Rose Garden Luxury in a Glass Bottle
Review of Jo Malone Red Roses Cologne and Bath Oil by
Christabelb
Advantages: Long lasting sweetness, a modern femininity
Disadvantages: Pricey, can be sickly sweet if worn too often
...JO WHO?
Jo Malone is a haven of feminine luxury for women who crave divine goddessness. It's flagsip store is situated on Sloane Square and is always busy, full of what I call "The Sloanies", rich upper middle class people with a lot of dosh in their pockets.
The Sloane Square Jo Malone store has its own little part to play in Marian Keyes' novel "The Other Side of The Story". The character Lily, is an author who is celebrating the success of her debut novel and has a small obession with Jo Malone products.
My first encounter with Jo Malone was around Valentine's Day in 2005, where I dragged my Lancastrian fiance who hates pink into the Sloane Square store to buy me a Valentine's Day present. I remember there was a massive pyramid pile of pink chocolates (like in the Ferero Rocher adverts) and he ate about 20 chocolates whilst I...

The best fragrance in the world?I think so!
Review of Jo Malone Red Roses Cologne and Bath Oil by
curiositykillscats
Advantages: The smell, stylish bottle, doesn't smell synthetic like alot of rose products
Disadvantages: Expensive(£52 glass bottle,£38 plastic bottle),smell fades quite quickly
...Jo Malone Red Roses Bath Oil was the first Jo Malone product I ever bought!
I always wanted to try Jo Malone after hearing so many people in the media raving about it,so I decided to give it a go.
A lot of people seem to love the Lime,Basil and Mandarin fragrance but that seemed a little too 'different' from any thing else I had tried before so I chose to stick with an old classic-Red Roses.
I decided to buy the Bath oil and not the cologne because I already had too much cologne at home which I needed to use up first!
Anyway, when I finally got it home and got into the bath, I was in Jo Malone heaven!
The smell is the most beautiful genuine rose smell in the world-it doesn't smell synthetic or cheap,in fact it screams luxury!
My skin smelt divine after bathing in it!
I am now a Jo Malone convert!...

Wonderful smelling luxurious bathtime treat!
Review of Jo Malone Lime Basil & Mandarin Bath Oil by
minidams
Advantages: Smell, softens skin, great as a gift
Disadvantages: THE PRICE!!!!!!!
...This was a gift from my husband when I was pregnant and what a treat! I have a few of the Jo Malone colognes which I love but the bath oil was a new product for me. As usual, the packaging and gift wrapping is just gorgeous and it smelt lovely before I'd even got into it. The Oil itself is beautifully scented with lime, basil and mandarin as you'd except and leaves the skin wonderfully soft, non-greasy and smelling heavenly. It is very concentrated so a little does go a long way - which is just as well given the price tag (£52 for 200ml glass bottle, £38 for a 250ml plastic bottle)!!!
The best thing about Jo Malone is definitely the packaging, to give it as a gift will score you serious brownie points!! The worst thing is the price - but as a treat it is so worth it!
You can buy Jo Malone from about 20 stores around the UK (e...

Bugsy Malone
Review of Bugsy Malone DVD by
melliebird
Advantages: Great performances from Cast
Disadvantages: None what so ever!
...I am writing my review based on the film "Bugsy Malone", it is a fantastic child based gangster film with no adults in the film what so ever, it is all children, the shop keepers are children, the club bar staff and owner is a child, all the "Gangsters" are children. It is a brilliant film to watch, it was released back in 1976 which is older than me but is a classic, and it is a musical rather than film.
Basic Storyline
It is set in the 1930's, it is based on two rival "Top Gangsters" Fat Sam, who is quite a big boy and Dandy Dan who is well classy… Dandy Dan's men raid Fat Sam's business with guns (loaded with custard and cream instead of bullets) which actually kills of some of Fat Sam's men. Bugsy Malone which is the main character in this film is just a basic by stander, who is a boxing promoter who has not got a penny...

The High Road - JoJo
Review of High Road, The - JoJo by
Natanna
Advantages: Some really fab songs!
Disadvantages: None really
...It is hard to believe that American singer, JoJo (Joanna Levesque) is only 16 years old, her voice is very mature for her age; her music is also very grown up. She has a r'n'b and pop sound, this 2nd album from JoJo is full of catchy r'n'b tunes and some strong ballads which really show off her voice.
The Way You Do Me - I wasn't too keen on this song at first, but after a few plays it was stuck in my head. It reminds me of 'Crazy In Love' by Beyonce. It has a very r'n'b beat to it and it makes you want to get up and dance.
Anything - This is the second single to be taken from the album. The song starts of with a short sample of 'Africa' by Toto. The song itself is very catchy, I can definitely see why it is a single.
This Time - Not one of the best songs on the album, but it has a catchy beat to it, another song...

Sweet Molly Malone
Review of Molly Malone's Irish Pub & Guesthouse, Siem Reap, Cambodia by
stravaig
Advantages: This is as good as you could want anywhere - and consistently so.
Disadvantages: None
...Molly Malone's is an Irish pub and guesthouse in Bar Street - the hub of Siem Reap's nightlife area. The pub is very tastefully done out with Irish memorabilia and loads of beautiful wood. It's all very clean and well cared for, with nice toilets too.
It's open to the street so you can sit at a table at the front and watch the world slowly amble by.
It's friendly and fun. Invariably at some stage in the evening the music is cranked up and everyone sings "... I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone. As she wheeled her wheelbarrow..." Chucking out time is somewhere between midnight and 1am, when almost everyone, including Thierry (joint owner of Molly's), heads down the street to THE nightclub in town - Angkor What?
Angkor What? "Promoting irresponsible drinking since 1998" is run by Charlie. Fantastic guy...

Review of Jo Jingles by
matthewsmum
Advantages: Great fun with music and dancing - but educational too
Disadvantages: Could be expensive for some people
...Six months ago, my son made a new little friend. He has a mop of yellow hair, wears little yellow trousers, a little red jumper and his name is Jo. But Jo is no ordinary kid. Oh no. Jo has got his very own music, singing and movement class, which my 2 year old absolutely loves. It is for this reason that Matthew and I would like to share with you the reasons why our Thursday mornings are always something to look forward to.
>>>A Little Background Information on Jo Jingles<<<
Jo Jingles caters for children between the ages of six months up to five years. The aim of the group is to help little ones develop various skills such as language, numeracy and physical co-ordination through music, song and movement.
