...Land 2". THE STORY There is never much of a story to accompany the Wario Land games but then we just have to make do with the one Nintendo gives us. In Wario Land 2, the story can actually differ depending on how you play the game! Sounds confusing but I will cover this later, don't worry. For now I will simply describe the main story line as you progress through the game. The idea of this game is that the evil Captain Syrup and his sugar pirates have intruded Wario's castle and stolen all of his treasure. The naughty devils! So Wario must embark on a journey, out of his own castle, through woods, take a journey on the SS Tea Cup (a large ship), travel through a factory and take a train ride. ...Right where do I start, I only wish I checked this forum before I got sucked in to the Land Of Leather advertising campaign. Anyway here goes, I went to Land Of Leather on Boxing Day - they were extremely busy (seems a lot of other people got sucked in by Land of Leather’s ‘great offers’ on the TV). Eventually me and the missus finally decided on a suite and ordered two 3 seaters and two footstools, paid a deposit of £100.00 leaving a balance of £1700.00 and was told I would receive delivery in 14 weeks. ...some talent, not to mention an unmistakable reference to Queen's Freddie Mercury. The album marches on in its pink spandex glory, reaching the frankly brilliant Get Your Hands Off Of My Woman and hurtling through the sure-fire hit single Growing On Me. Stuck In A Rut is one of the best songs on Permission To Land; a soaring riff combined with Justin performing what seems to be an impersonation of Gollum from Lord Of The Rings. Once again The Darkness walk the fine line between a rock 'n' roll anthem and a deliberately amusing track. Don't be fooled though, there are a couple of slow songs on this excellent disc. Love Is Only A Feeling is a stunning rock ballad, featuring some double tapping that the greatest of guitarists would be jealous of, and Friday Night is a love song about taking part in extra-curricular school activities... ...I was moving into a new flat and i needed a new suite. This was the first i had occasion to buy one and as far as i was aware you ordered the one you wanted and within a week or two you would receive it. Everywhere i looked for sofas i was told the same thing, it should take about 12 weeks to be delivered. At 5 months pregnant i really didn't fancy having to sit on the floor for 3 months and due to the cost of the suite and other expenses we couldn't afford a table and chairs at the same time, so when we arrived at land of leather we were over the moon to be shown the range of furniture they had available for immediate delivery. So we set about picking out one we both agreed on within our budget. ...at all. I'm ever so grateful to my uncle and also to my universal DVD player that allows me to play this region 1 dvd for us big kids on our super silver widescreen T.V.! Extras: no extras, perhaps this is because it's a pre-release or maybe the american version doesnt have them. But I'm sure when released there will be some as it's a new production and every DVD nowadays seems to have some sort of 'bonus features' or another. Overall a 4 star rating, A good conclusion to an epic series of films. And surprisingly good graphics compared to the previous ones. Songs are however along pretty much the same lines as others, but still equally enjoyable. Highly recommended good one for the 'The land before time' fan in us all.
