...Mr Lazy is number 17 in the Mr Men collection. He is a funny shaped character and is pink in colour. I would describe his shape as a 'n' shape. He wears a little blue bowler hat. The cover of the book is white with a picture of Mr Lazy sleeping at the bottom and the title above this in black lettering. The back cover of the book is also white and has smaller pictures showing the other characters available in the collection. THE STORY At the start of the book we are told a bit about Mr Lazy, we learn that he lives in Sleepyland, which is a very lazy town. In Sleepyland even the birds fly slow, sometimes they fly so slow they fall from the sky. The grass only needs cutting once every year as it grows so slow and even the trees are lazy looking and everyone who lives in Sleepyland stays in bed until the afternoon. The clocks go so... ...Lazy Town the CD as you will guess from the title comes from the hit childrens TV show Lazy Town. The CD which I am reviewing comes with a bonus DVD. The CD from Sporticus, Stephanie and the whole gang contains 20 fun songs which all feature in different episodes of the show. ...The Very Lazy Ladybird by Isabel Finn and Jack Tickle This is a fantastic little story about a lazy ladybird that sleeps all day and night and so had never learnt to fly. She wakes one day on her leafy resting place and decides she would like to sleep somewhere else…but where could she sleep as she can't fly anywhere? At this point a kangaroo hops past and the lazy ladybird hops into her pouch but decides that she can't sleep there because it is too bumpy for her…as the story progresses we see the lazy ladybird hopping on to various different animals as she tries to find somewhere comfortable to sleep…but it proves futile as she is always out off by something each animal does, until she meets one animal she thinks is just right until something happens which changes her mind…… I won't give away the ending as it is such a fun... Advantages: Brill pop songs, easy to remember lyrics, gets kids up bopping all around the room!
Disadvantages: You will start humming the songs to yourself in meetings!

...***EDITED*** Now grammatically correct....i hope :) After my last review I decided to write a happy, chirpy, smiles all round review and whilst hunting around trying to find something sweet and twee to review, my daughter handed me this, I have all knowledge on Lazytown now as Amber is obsessed, we watch it everyday and we listen to the c.d every minute of the day, I am pleased to announce that I can warble along to every song WORD FOR WORD from this c.d.....I will share with you this brill gift from the world of kiddie pop! Lazy town as every mother of a child aged from embryo to 102 will know is a children's television programme from Nick Jr (I also know it is shown on other channels but Nick Jr is where we watch it).
