Lamb, Lobster and Linguine but Positively No Pizza
Review of Leone Italian Restaurant and Oyster Bar, Hove, Brighton by  suesie

Advantages: Unusual well cooked recipes. Reasonable prices, Good service. Luxurious ambience.
Disadvantages: Questionable Accessiblity Options. Not family focussed if this counts a disadvantage

...to oblige and let me chose a selection of dishes from the menu ( 4 starters, 3 main courses and any of the sweets of the day) without even wincing at my choices, although some were far from the cheapest options! I won't reveal the menu because I think Marcello's profit margins for that evening would have been pretty slim and I would hate any wag to quote our deal to him as a precedent . Suffice it to say we had a wonderful three course meal for £20 a head. The service provided by Marcello and a waitress was friendly and efficient but not intrusive and we got everything that was promised and even some festive crackers thrown in. All the guests were really impressed by the quality of the food and, as most of them regularly dine out in Brighton and Hove, they are in a good position to judge the relative merits of eating establishments! The two... Read review

BRIGHTON ROCKS! MY HOMETOWN
Review of Brighton in general by  Mauri

Advantages: Lively, Entertaining, Good food, Good beer
Disadvantages: Can get busy

...Brighton to many is London-by-the-sea to others the destination for a dirty weekend. I have lived in Brighton for over 20 years, I even tried to leave once but soon realised what a mistake I?d made! Over the years the Town (now officially a city) has outgrown these popular preconceptions and has developed into one of the liveliest centres for tourism, culture and entertainment in the south of England. *HISTORY* Up until the 16th century Brighton was small but important fishing village with a population of 400 fishermen. But within a generation in the early 17th century Brighton became the largest town in Sussex. The town became known as a health spa due to the supposed medical properties of the seawater that would cure many diseases. The growing Royal interest of the Prince Regent (to become George IV) led to the building... Read review

Lobster is Served!
Review of Lobster 485 mobile phone by  kjvilla

Advantages: Compact, Two screens, Cheap
Disadvantages: Terrible battery life, lack of features, and arguably *too* small?

...options. It's a pity the Lobster 485 cannot connect to a PC, however, so you can never transfer any photos anyway! You can use them in your phonebook, though, by attaching them to people's names. A small and fun feature is the photo tool, in which you can add frames to your pictures and such. The internal 262k colour screen is decent for viewing your snaps and everything else though, and it's nice and bright, too. Other features on the phone include SMS and MMS text messaging. Unfortunately, if you dislike predictive text, you can't switch this option off as a default, but this only means you have to press a couple of buttons before writing a text. Predictive text itself is available in a variety of languages: German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish, English, Russian and French. You also have the typical call registry... I love my lobster
Review of Virgin Lobster 700TV by  francesca.sd

Advantages: stylish, great features, great price
Disadvantages: screen gets scratched easily, frozen once or twice, complicated to use at first

...The lobster 700tv phone is not just a phone; instead it should be called a device! I bought my phone 2 months ago and I love it! It’s got everything you would ever need on it and more! It’s fabulous! What does it look like?♥ People say that the appearance of my phone is a negative point. I disagree. The phone is silver and black and has a large bit that sticks out at the side. I think that this phone is actually very attractive and I like the look of it because, when people see they say “wow what is that?” and it makes me feel good because my phone is different to theirs and everyone else’s! I like the look of the lobster 700tv because it is rather big- about 3.5 cm in width and 6 cm in height. At one point, small phone were in and now, big phones are in. And this is the ultimate big phone to have. The colour may be boring... Read review

Brighton breezy.
Review of Brighton in general by  scraggly

Advantages: Easy to get to, something for everyone
Disadvantages: None that I can think of

...Before I start I must warn you that I'm very biased. I live in Brighton (or Hove actually as the saying goes) and I love it. I came here in 1994 to go to University of Sussex nearby and just never got round to leaving. If you're looking for somewhere to visit this summer let me try to entice you to Brighton. We're very proud of our newly acheived City status and we've got so much to offer. Whatever age you are and whatever interests you have Brighton will be bound to satisfy you. Lets start with some obvious basics. <How to get here.> Unless you live on the South Coast (in which case I'm sure you already know how to get here) the easiest way is to get to London Victoria. From there you can catch a train or coach to Brighton. There is an express train that takes less than an hour. Even the standard train takes less than two... Read review

Is this lobster edible??
Review of Virgin Lobster 700TV by  musicmad3

Advantages: Its features.
Disadvantages: A bit bulky

...I have had the virgin lobster phone for a few months now. It has been a grerat experience and a very enjoyable phone to have. APart from its bulkyness it is a superb phone, not just for making calls on but to go on instant messaging, the internet, or even listening to your favourite music. I currently have a 1Gb memory card in it, and i have 315 pictures on it, and 112 songs on it and a few videos. The screen is a good size and it enables you to enjoy your favourite videos, or even watchn Tv without having to move. This may not be the smartest, or stylish phone ever created but the features it has to offer aer outstanding, and all for an exceptional price. The phone comes with two games, bubble breaker, and solitare. The phone is a smart phone and therefore has windows meadia player, and internet explorer. You are able to organise your... Read review

Prinny's Pleasure Dome! Brighton's Best!
Review of The Royal Pavilion, Brighton by  suesie

Advantages: Historical interest, vibrant eccentric decor, magnificent furnishings and furniture
Disadvantages: always leaves you wnting more

...The Royal Pavilion sits comfortably in the heart of Brighton presiding over its surroundings like an elderly and eccentric uncle at a gathering in his honour. In unconventional attire, with a benign countenance and serene demeanour which belies it’s chequered past, it silently surveys the busy metropolis around. Brighton citizens and its many visitors mill around, some casting fond glances in its direction, others viewing the ‘inappropriate’ apparel with mildly critical distaste but most feeling some interest in the tales it can tell of its illustrious and notorious past combined with a respect for its longevity, having survived against all the odds. *****HISTORY***** Whatever one feels about Brighton’s premier landmark, nobody can deny that it and the person responsible for its construction are the two factors which have had... Definative view on Brighton....
Review of Brighton & Hove Albion by  Djmilesno1

Advantages: Best fans, friendly team, community spirit
Disadvantages: Poor ground, poor finances

...I'm a BIG football fan, someone who wants to go to every single game. Unfortunately because of funds and University, I'm only able to go to a few games a season. I live just north of Brighton in a town called Haywards Heath. This is near enough to call Brighton and Hove Albion my 'Local' team, as it is only about 10/15 miles away. I've been support Brighton since around 1997 when they were facing being relegated from the Football League to the Conference. I have vivid memories of watching Final Score on BBC and seeing the score 'Hereford 1-1 Brighton', which meant we had survived for another season. History of the Club: Brighton were formed in 1901, and initially played at the County ground, which is the cricket ground in Hove used by Sussex even now. The club then moved to the Goldstone ground the next season, and gained... Read review

It's not Brighton's It's MINE
Review of Brighton Pavillion, Brighton by  mrsatchmo

Advantages: Peaceful gardens,Exotic Interiors Flamboyant Colours.
Disadvantages: Gets very busy in the Tourist Season.

...There are two listings for the Pavillion Brighton on Ciao, so I am going to chose the Pavillion heading as to me there is more to enjoy here than the Palace alone. I am lucky enough to live 5 minutes away from this beautiful building and I have been using the gardens at the pavillion for many years now. I enjoy watching the seasons come and go, the ice on the lily pond in midwinter and the colour of bulbs popping up amongst the bushes in early spring.. It is here I walk my dog daily. The back of the Pavillion has a huge lawn that is mainly overlooked by the daily visitors so I normally have this area to myself. The garden has an air of relaxation and although the pavillion sits on one of the main roads that lead... Read review
