Advantages: Great little toy to keep baby amused for ages
Disadvantages: doesn't stick to m&p's highchairs

...I first came across this steering wheel at my Sister In Law's house. M was playing with it for ages, and me being me, presumed it was from Toys R Us, and spent weeks going to shops looking for it before taking the plunge and asking Sister in Law where hers was from. She said it was a freebie with her Highchair from the Mama's and Papa's shop. I decided to investigate via the website and came across the Beep, Beep Steering wheel. The bottom is a blue rubber which is shaped to fit onto the table of a highchair. There is an orange roundish ball shape. This has 2 levers, 1 green with a red mirror on one side and a yellow lever with a blue rounded top like a gear stick. ...a button is pressed are located in the centre of the Dash as is the steering wheel. The steering Wheel is a fairly good size and is fully turnable. It has a large Yellow button in the centre of it, allowing baby to press and BEEP to on-coming buggies. The left of the Wheel has baby's gear stick, a blue round ball basically that can be moved up and down to make the lights (arrows) beside it flash. When pulled down for reverse the button light comes on and a reverse tone plays " beep, beep,beep,beep" and when pushed forward the up light comes on and this is followed by a driving sound " broom, broom, then it sounds like a gear change and broom again". Very clever really. That part is all set on a Red plastic square shaped Dash. To the right of the Wheel, situated on a Blue plastic square shaped Dash is baby’s bright red ignition key... ...Vtech tiny tot driver I bought this for James when he was 3 months old, OK maybe that was a bit early but it played tunes which he really loved, and had flashing lights too which captured his attention, he soon leaned that by hitting it wildly he could get them to play and flash!. The toy itself sits on any flat surface, has a large bright blue steering wheel, easily gripped by the smallest of hands, and has a large bright yellow ‘horn’ button in the centre of the wheel. Even though we no longer have the toy I can still hear it! There are 3 vehicle buttons, a red fire engine, yellow bus and green train on the panel below the steering wheel. No my grandchild can not really drive her high chair but she has an E L C highchair steering wheel we bought it for her for Christmas .We bought this toy from the early learning centre in town but you can buy it on line to at www.earlylearning.com Cassie one year old in 2 weeks time loves to sit in her high chair and pretend to drive. This toy is suitable for children aged 6 months upwards. Cassie will and turns the yellow steering wheel. She has a horn to hoot in the centre of the wheel. Watch out mummy here she comes. Cassie turns the red handle and makes an engine noise. She pushes one of the 3 buttons on the dash board and makes a light flash, one button with a picture of a key on it starts the engine, and two tunes can be played by pushing other buttons... ...Once my son was in that pushchair part of the pram the activity arch he'd previously used didn't fit so I went on a mission to find something else to attach to the pushchair to keep him entertained. I saw this in store and thought it looked good, colourful and noisy therefore very attractive to children! Once we'd both had a quick go in the shop I decided to purchase one. It has a moveable steering wheel which is easy for little hands to turn, with a beeping horn in the middle, there are two small mirrors one on each side, a couple of small lights that flash when music activated, one lever that makes a different noise each for forwards and backwards, 2 buttons that play a couple of different tunes. ...;. Luckily, we happened to land on the night of August 15th, which is Indian Independence day. This meant every guard was by default in a good mood and let everyone past without any hassles, harassment or questioning...PHEW!! Once we were past this bit we were free to leave the big hot airport as we pleased. Another recommendation. DO NOT make the mistake of visiting the loos. EVEN if you are fit to burst. The god-awful smell or nasty people you meet in there will knock you out! The doors opened and....BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! Taxis and Cars all honking away trying to get past one another! I was totally overcome by the noise and probably looked pretty shocked too because my dad quickly explained that this is how transport in India is driven! This machine also has 6th Sense Technology, automatically adjusting water, energy consumption and time. 5) During the first 15 minutes of the cotton and synthetic wash you can open the door of the machine. This is helpful if you see a red sock that has sneaked into your white wash. You can also pause the wash if you want to go off to do something else. At the end of the cycle you can open the door immediately. ...designed with detailled questions and answers to help you if you come across any difficulties using the software or the clicker but it really is simple, the only problem I came across was trying to transmit barcodes through firefox instead of internet explorer. You can contact them via email or a freephone number and they are really helpful and friendly. If you go away they do ask you to notify them so they know not to expect barcodes from them but I must say its my bit of fun doing the beep beeps just like Supermarket Sweep!!!... Read review

....... beep beep... urgh. These are the sounds experienced by the lesser-spotted Saltire on awaking of a morn. Groan. Alarm switched off, and back to bed - but not before switching on BBC Breakfast News to catch up on current affairs missed while getting some grade A shut-eye. The programme is news/current affairs based, but towards the end (and really when I should be heading for work!) the schedule tends towards Media and the Arts, Sciences and Technology. The coverage of the non-news items is sparse, but the current affairs coverage certainly compensates for this. Sports and Finance also receive good coverage, but since the programme is mainly aimed at current affairs, these tend to take backseat, as expected. Presenters rotate frequently but are part of the BBC Breakfast News team. The presentation style is similar... Read review

...When I was a child one of my favourite games was playing shops. When it was my daughters birthday last year I got her the Early Learning Centre Electronic Cash Register. The ELC electronic cash register is suitable for children of 3 years and above and costs £15.00. It requires batteries, which are included. The till has a real calculator built into it and a scanner. It comes with plastic coins and paper money and a credit card. It is very brightly coloured as it is made of orange, purple, green and pink plastic. The keys on the till are set out and numbered like a calculator and are a good size for little fingers. There is an on and off button, a large plus button, a total button and a cash button.
