Advantages: Quick service, fresh sandwiches

...Although coming from the US I never thought I'd eat a sandwich in a box, Pret a Manger changed my mind. Pret's sandwiches are consistently fresh and usually cheaper than buying a sandwich in a sandwich shop. Plus, whenever I've visited, the staff was always friendly and efficient, and the stores were always cleaner than clean.
On top of the wide variety of traditional sandwiches (including both veg and non-veg versions), Pret offers baguettes, salads, and innovative items such as one-sided sandwiches. In addition, Pret's started selling soups, and each version I've tried has been delicious. There are plenty of options for everyone -- vegetarians, vegans, people on the Atkins diet, etc.
Pret also offers food for various times of the day. In the morning, you can stop in for a yogurt pot and a coffee. Or a pastry and a smoothie...
