...I wanted to write a review of this a while ago but as I had drank the whole bottle in one go (with my husbands help) I couldn’t remember much about it. Good excuse to buy another bottle. I was drawn to this at my local Co-op basically cos of its bright red label and nice shaped bottle, its tall and thin and made of frosted glass making the liquid inside look colourless. It’s quite alcoholic at 20% vol. It was only £5.99 for 50cl/500ml so I thought I’d give it a try. I’d never heard of ‘The Original Mickey Finn’s Liquor Company Inc’ before and found it is based in Ireland. I had heard of a Mickey Finn though, it’s when you render someone unconscious by putting something in his or her drink but hadn’t realised that there was an actual person that this method was named after. Advantages: Great taste

...For years now my favourite tipple has been Bacardi and Coke, but sometimes I just want something a bit different. Let me introduce you to something completely different......Mickey Finn's Sour Raspberry. Contrary to it being offputting by being sour this little red beaut is most refreshing. It comes as you'd expect in a bottle containing the bright red liquer. The label consists of the Mickey Finn's logo, which is a long dark tower like object with a larger diamond top. Mickey Finn's is written is large outlined letters across the centre of the diamond. Underneath this in red and slightly diagonal are the words " Sour Raspberry ". ...The old Finn & Firkin no longer exists. It was taken over by Arena Pubs back in Sep 2001, and is now called "The Hibernian" which was its name bofore it was the Finn years ago. Its situated on the Pershore Road, Birmingham at the junction of Dogpool Lane in Selly Park. The refurbishment in September brought with it numerous large screen TV's, and with the pub subscribing to Sky and ITV digital it is able to show all the televised sporting events. There is adequate seating and large no smoking areas. There are 2 pool tables, numerous gaming machines and a dart board. It offers an extensive menu, all the usual suspects when it comes to pub grub, mainly around the £3 - £5 mark. Despite being in "student land" it will still cost you over £2 for a pint of lager, and over £2.50 a bottle, which is more expensive then its local... Read review

...Mickey saves santa dvd can be watched all year round, there is 3 epidsodes on the dvd, i have seen the dvd plenty of times as my daughter is a big fan and loves to watch it constantly!! The 3 epidsodes on the dvd are: 1.MIckey saves santa - santa is stuck on mistle toe mountain and its up to mickey and donald to help santa. All donald is worried about is his christmas list and he keeps being reminded that he must be good in order to recieve presents. They use their handy mouseatools to help them along there journey. 2.Baby Red Bird in this epidsode Goofy returns to the clubhouse with a "hat with a pom pom" he says, but it is an egg in a nest, between Goofy and Mickey they must return the bird back to its mum. 3.Hide and Seek Mickey and Donald play a game of hide and seek where Donald hides in the rocket, Mickey has to find... ...I have a 21 month old son who loves anything and everything to do with Mickey mouse clubhouse,i only came across this programme last December (as i have wrote about in my review on the DVD). ...Mickey mouse makes his way to the Snes, I always feel a bit apprehensive about games that are based on characters from films or games that are based on films because the company making these games know they will sell just because of the name and so I fear the company making this game may be a bit lazy when making the game. Story ****** Mickey is playing a game of Catch with Goofy and friends, when Goofy throws the ball really hard and Pluto goes to get the ball but goes missing, So Mickey Goes to find him only to out that he has been captured by an the evil Emperor Pete. ...After some more evenings spent playing on my old Mega Drive I have decided to review another of the games. On this occasion I will be reviewing Mickey Mania. *** Mickey Mania *** Mickey Mania starring Mickey Mouse was released on the Sega Mega Drive back in 1994. I remember buying this game when I was about 12 or 13 for the simple reason of how much I enjoyed two other Disney-Sega games that I have already reviewed: Castle of Illusion and World of Illusion. ...the disappointing helping of extras. There are only two extras on this DVD, which I found bitterly disapponting for Disney. They are; - A Lucky Matches activity, which is a "pairs" type of game. - Can You Recall game, which is another memory game and not a particularly good one either is has to be said. The feature itself is made up of animated shorts featuring Mickey, Goofy, Donald and (my personal favourite) Pluto. The shorts include some of the best bits of animation Mickey Mouse has ever featured in. The shorts on this DVD include: "Thru The Mirror" in which Mickey discovers a world of his own imagination through a mirror. "Hawaiian Holiday" in which Donald, Goofy and Pluto accompany Mickey on a holiday, resulting in lots of fun! ...I have always loved anything to do with Disney,but had never heard of Mickey mouse clubhouse until December last year when i was changing channels looking for something to occupy my 21 month old son. I came across Playhouse Disney as soon as my son heard Mickey and friends he did not take his eyes off the t.v until it had finished,which i was extremely amazed at as he had never took any notice of them type of programmes before. I went out the next day and bought him this dvd,he plays it over and over again and is constantly asking for Hot Dog,which is the name of the song at the end of each episode. The same old characters are there such as Donald the duck,Minnie,Daisy duck,Goofy,Pluto and of course the one and only Mickey mouse.
