Advantages: Wonderfully funny
Disadvantages: Maybe not as funny the 564th time :)

...Monty Python are one of the classic comedy teams in this country's history. In the days of their TV series they brought ground-breaking humour, quickly gathering a cult following due to their status as one of the funniest shows of the time. Irreverent, witty, sometimes silly, but very, very funny. Even today their sketches are still quoted parrot-fashion up and down the country, to the delight of other fans and the bemusement of others :) "The Search For The Holy Grail" was the first film produced by the Monty Python team. Operating on a low budget (the actors bang coconut halves together in place of horses, and this is actually developed into one of the film running gags :), the film follows King Arthur as he gathers knights to his cause, having a bunch of adventures en route in the quest for the Holy Grail. Advantages: it's really funny
Disadvantages: it can get quite confusing

...Monty Python, how do you come up with such funny comedy's. Even though your film making is dead, you can still make people laugh with your hilarous HOLY GRAIL. Monty Python just has to be the funnest team in history.With their three major films, Monty Pyphon and the holy grail, the meaning of life and the life of Brian every one knows their just the best. Now if you haven't seen the film yet what the hell are you doing reading this? Go get the film damn it. Monty Python and the holy grail is about a night who seeks people to be in his army when he has quite a lot of people god comes from the heavens to tell them their quest. Advantages: the shere hilarity of it

...Ever since watching this film I have been adicted to the monty python trilogy. This has to be one of the funniest films I have ever watched and I thouroughly recomend it to anyone who has the oppourtunity to watch it. The comedy never lets up and the usual monty python hmour is ever present all the way through the film. The film includes several of the legendary knights of the round table such as Lancelot the brave sir Gallahad the pure and in true monty python style it includes Sir Robin the not quites as brave as sir lancelot or as pure as sir robin and the kinght who pissed his pants at the battle of bosworth. The film is never meant to be taken seriously and includes moments where french knights insult the brave questing knights, king arthur encounters the knights of kni and the brilliant magnificent sorcerer known only as Tim... ...opinion this was Monty Python's finest hour, narrowly overshadowing the dead parrot sketch and the Holy Grail. I think it's better than the Holy Grail because the story runs throughout the film more strongly. Although like the Holy Grail it can easily be seperated into sketches.... Read review
