I decided I wanted a kettle that: • Had a 360 degree base - for ease of placing the kettle onto the base • Illuminated when on • Had a concealed element • Was finished in a brushed or stainless steel finish • Had a matching toaster in the range • Was under £50 • Is made by a well known brand • And of course it must look good! I choose the Morphy Richards 43121 as it fitted ALL of my requirements and looked fantastic in the picture on the box. I purchased the kettle at Sainsburys where it had been reduced from £50 to £33. ...Our iron packed up over Christmas, we have previously used Morphy Richards stuff because we have found them to be reliable and do a suitable job whoever gets the short straw and has to do the ironing! Since this is my 1st review of 2006, my girlfriend has been given the all important job of testing out this new little puppy. Today being bank holiday Monday, we thought it was safe enough to explore the outside world again and hey ho hey ho it's off to Asda we go!! (I know a song about that!). Why o why don't Asda put irons with the electrical stuff? we searched for ages but eventually was told they were in isle 19! (Shame on us for not knowing!). I was going though the Argos catologue and added up buying the Morphy Richards 44720. ^*^*^*^*^*^* THE PRODUCT*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* This Morphy Richards 44728 Contemporary Brushed Finish 2-Slice Toaster has everything I want in a toaster, it has a Cancel Button, this is a button that can stop the toasting action immediately,a defrost setting, this is a lower power setting for the heating elements to de frost toast, I think this is a brilliant idea, I am always forgetting to take the bread out of the freezer. ...We purchased this kettle a little over 2 years ago and until it broke gave us many problems. Although it looked great it was a horrible kettle to use Morphy Richards is a well respected name (purchased a morphy richards manhattan now) in the small home electrical market and from the out look this kettle is another good one, but how wrong we were. Morphy Richards have sacrificed functionality for design and style on the 43120 glas an ilumina kettles Dont get me wrong the kettle served us well, looked great with its black handle/brushed chrome and glass body it really looks a great it of kit and boiled quickly is an understatement. the 360 degree rotating base is great for lefties and righties. ...Morphy Richards Ultralight Cyclone 1500 W Vacuum Cleaner. This has to be by far the worst vacuum cleaner that I have had the misfortune to use in my entire life. The name suggests that it is lightweight, but this is far from so. It weighs 7.5 kg, compared to 5.3 kg for the Electrolux Cyclone Power Lite that I normally use. It is an upright hoover, which measures 42” high, 12.5” wide and 19” deep (front to back). It has a front loading dust cylinder in the same style as most modern vacuums. It has a bush button release mechanism to release the handle (from the upright position) but this can be a sod to get to operate properly, and it often results in the handle falling down and clumping me, normally on the back of the head.
