Very Very Good
Review of Nicky Clarke Hydrating Mousse by
sarah_stitch
Advantages: Does what it says on the bottle
Disadvantages: Is slightly more expensive than regular hair mousse
...Hydrating Mousse - Nicky Clarke
Wanting to try something new on my hair, i decided to try Nicky Clarkes Hydrating Mousse from Superdrug recently. It is very good if your have hair which is very fine and has a tendancy to be frizzy.
Frizzy hair is much more porous which makes it difficult to manage, this luxury mousse detangles, eliminates static and makes hair easier to control and manage. It contains special Copolymers which add vital gloss and flexibility. Pro vitamin b5 hasalso been incorporated to protect the hair and add further gloss, while aromatherapy essences of ylang ylang and sage soothe and provide natural hair conditioning. The result smoother, sleeker styling and long lasting shine.
And it certainly works, it is wonderful. NO MORE TANGLES FOR ME!!...

Perfect for fine, dry hair!
Review of Nicky Clarke Hairomatherapy Thickening Shampoo by
sydney
Advantages: Leaves fine, dry hair soft and shiny. Great presentation and not tested on bunnies!
Disadvantages: None.
...I've recently started using Nicky Clarke's Hairomatherapy Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner. Wow, what a difference! I have long, fine, fly-away hair, and other shampoos I have used (e.g. John Frieda, Alberto Balsam) left my hair lank and greasy, (sounds like a shampoo ad, I know, but it's true!) The Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner really does leave my hair soft and shiny, and not greasy at all.
The aluminium bottle looks lovely on the shelf, and it's recyclable. Plus none of Nicky Clarke's products are tested on animals, which is a major plus for those who want to protect fluffy bunny's eyes.
The bottle are quite large and the conditioner lasts for ever as you don't need to use very much. The price is comparable to other 'salon shampoos', so really I have no criticisms. This is a great product for dry, fine or frizzy hair...

what happened to Nicky Clarke Sport?
Review of Nicky Clarke Sport for Hair & Body by
jennysue
Advantages: Right balance of shampoo/conditioner/body wash
Disadvantages: Take care the lid is sealed properly!
...Does anyone know why this range of products disappeared from the shelves? Is it true that some pathetic person objected to the advertising which featured a man and a woman in the shower?
It's a great pity, because the 3-in-1 product shower/shampoo/conditioner was great for the sports bag. Dinghy sailing in salt water conditions is rough on the body and on the hair, and sunlight dries you out even more.
Nicky Clarke Sport 3-in-One has just the right balance of conditioner, and wasn't so foamy that it wouldn't wash out easily. My hair always combed through perfectly. Also, the gel was not too perfumed and the light citrus fragrance wasn't too feminine for my husband to borrow it from time to time.
I am still looking for a good alternative, the best so far being Physio Sport, which I found on the men's toiletries, but isn't it supposed...

Hairomatherapy is rubbish
Review of Nicky Clarke Hairomatherapy Thickening Shampoo by
Flossiesdoll
Advantages: Looks great, smells great
Disadvantages: Left my hair so tangled I was late for work
...I should have known better than to try this product - after all, Nicky Clarke himself doesn't have the best looking hair!
My hair is fine, dead straight, shoulder length and has always been in reasonably good condition - not greasy, not dry, always very healthy and shiny looking. Although it's naturally very fine, 20 years of using various colours on it have bulked up the hair shaft and given it a bit more body.
So I liked the look of the Nicky Clarke products... So I tried Hairomatherapy. Well, the bottles looked great and the products smelled great, and the blurb looked promising.
What a disaster. The shampoo and conditioner seemed to leave my hair clean, but so badly tangled, I was late for work because it took me 20 minutes - 20 minutes! - to detangle! I tried it several mornings - varying the quantity used, combing...

Nicky Clarke Hair Colour - Caramel
Review of Nicky Clarke Colour by
doluph
Advantages: Very easy to use
Disadvantages: None so far
...Nicky Clarke Caramel Colour System with honey and beeswax. Lasts for 15 - 20 washes. So far I have only washed my hair twice since application.
I have mid brown hair and chose caramel because I wanted to try and blend in the dreaded grey hairs. It says on the pack not to be used if your hair is more that 50% grey.
My hair is 'salt and pepper' grey, and nothing has managed to cover it previously. This colour has managed to tinted it so it isn't so obvious but it is still highlighted (not a solid colour but that probably looks more natural anyway). I wanted grey cover without having to resort to permanent colour where I would need to keep 'doing my roots'.
I have used other non permanent hair colours but this is the only one that has tinted the grey.
I was surprised with the lack of information on the box with regard...

MR FLOPPY HAIR DOES IT AGAIN
Review of Nicky Clarke Hairomatherapy Hydrating Conditioner by
veramck
Advantages: soft, silky hair
Disadvantages: pricey if you are on a tight budget
...As those of you who have read my other op on Nicky Clarkes products and accessories are aware I am just so in love with this man and his products apart from being the most famous and trusted name in hair care he is also drop dead gorgeous with attitude!
The latest addition to my bathroom shelf is the Nicky Clarke Hairomatherapy hydrating conditioner specially designed for the dry frizzy types.
This conditioner is fantastic! I have coloured and highlighted hair, my hair is usually in good condition and until recently I had just used a mousse conditioner that you leave in. However with a combination of HRT and a sunny holiday in Marbella, my hair has become quite dry and unmanageable.
THE PACKAGING:
The conditioner comes in a lovely silver coloured can with a pump on top which is great for dispensing just the right amount...

bad hair day
Review of Nicky Clarke Hairdryer by
amelia79
Advantages: REASONABLE PRICE
Disadvantages: SEE ABOVE
...I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NICKY CLARKE HAIR DRYER. I DECIDED TO BUY THE MORE EXPENSIVE MODEL THINKING IT WOULD BE THAT MUCH BETTER, HOWEVER I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH IT. THE CONTROL BUTTONS ARE IN THE SAME POSITION TO WHERE YOU ACTUALLY HOLD THE DRYER SO CONSEQUENTLY EVERY TIME YOU MANIPULATE THE DRYER TO BLOW DRY YOUR HAIR THE SETTING ALTER THEN YOU HAVE TO TURN IT OFF AND START OVER AGAIN. ALSO THE NOZZLE ON THE END CONTINUALLY FLIES OFF AT THE SLIGHTEST MOVEMENT, THIS IS VERY ANNOYING. THE HAIRDRYER IS ALSO VERY NOISY. ALSO THE FLEX IS NOT VERY LONG SO IT DOESN'T REACH TO SOME SOCKET POINTS WITHOUT USING AN EXTENSION LEAD. SO ALL IN ALL I DO REGRET PURCHASING THIS ITEM....

BIG HAIR FOR LITTLE TROUBLE.
Review of Nicky Clarke Hairomatherapy Thickening Shampoo by
Mayhall
Advantages: Gives great results
Disadvantages: None so far
...Nicky Clarke Hairomatherapy Thickening Shampoo
I was originally after some Matrix Amplify from the internet, but it was really expensive £6.70 plus £2.50 delivery charge, and I didn’t think I could use it on a regular basis at that price. I was looking for thickening shampoos in Lloyd’s Chemist instead, and I really wanted some good stuff because it really would have its work cut out with my fine flyaway hair. I decided to take a chance on the Nicky Clarke thickening shampoo. I had seen him a number of times on the telly and I had already had the pleasure of his hair straightening system. I thought that £1.99 for this shampoo was far more manageable than £9.20, I expected it to be more than that, and I am never easy about paying over the internet. I will never know how the Matrix compares until I try it, maybe someday when Hell has...

hairs best firend
Review of Nicky Clarke Hairomatherapy Thickening Conditioner by
wackjob
Advantages: smells great, leaves conditioned
Disadvantages: no body under thier
...A conditioner is your hairs best friend. I found out not so long ago that the shampoo is for the scalp and the conditioner is for the hair. So keeping that in mind I decided to buy a conditioner that would work for my hair. I have used many different types of conditioners. My friend who seems to love him recommended me Nicky Clarke’s products. I brought Nicky Clark’s Hairomatherapy Shampoo and conditioner. What attracted me to this conditioner was the small print on the front of the bottle that said’ FOR FINE, LIMP.FLYAWAY OR THINNING HAIR’. That of course describes my hair.
The Conditioner is called ‘AROMATHERAPY THICKENING CONDITIONER’. It comes in this very sheek looking metal bottle, which contains 250 ml. The other very cool asset this bottle has is the nozzle at the top, which is a simple...

HAIROMATHERAPY THATS OUTSHINES THE REST
Review of Nicky Clarke Hairomatherapy Thickening Shampoo by
vicky27
Advantages: ONLY NEED TO USE SMALL AMOUNT MAKES HAIR LOOK HEALTHY AND SHINE
Disadvantages: NONE
...Some time ago I wrote an opinion about Nicky Clarke shampoo, the one I wrote about I had recieved as a gift off my sister. I liked it so much I hinted all year for everyone to buy me Nicky Clarke items this year, and I struck lucky the one I am going to tell you about now is the hairomatherapy supershine.
I was surprised that this particular one would turn out to be one of my favourites my mother bought me this one she’s getting quite clever in her old age, lol.
Nicky Clarke is pretty well known to most people at one time you couldn’t turn on the television without his face popping up somewhere and since he has started to market his own range it is far easier for people like myself to buy it as we could never afford to use his salons.
The actual shampoo comes in a long silver tin which you can see in the picture above. The tin tells us...
