Advantages: A superb singer, and two good albums in one
Disadvantages: The guitarist does very little

...A lot have bad things have been said about Panic! At The Disco, whether it be that they are a fall out boy rehash, that they are far too stuck up, or that they are trying to by techno, when they are emo, but i think, that shining thorugh all of this, is an ignorance of the utter variation that is in this album, and the fact that they are, crucially, much better than fall out boy. However, there is no getting away from the fact, that since the internet release of "i write sins, not tragedies" Panic! at the disco have become one of the most popular new bands in the country, with everyone (esecially the teenage region) appreciating the mixture between danceability, and skill, that forms the songs. On the surface, Panic at the disco are another one of those band hot out of america, that we are told that we must like by the critics... Read review

...■The Band■ The beginning of Panic! At The Disco is certainly an underdog story that should inspire many upcoming bands to keep on going. They were signed up to their first record label without even performing a single show. Spotted by Fall Out Boy poster boy Pete Wentz on MySpace he recommended them to his record label. They took him up on the offer and thus, we have Panic! At The Disco. The rose quickly from small time underground success to world wide superstars. Advantages: Fun, Funky and fresh - the fs - they don't fail
Disadvantages: Addictive, makes sleeping hard.

...Panic! at the disco debut with "A fever you can't sweat out" and for a first album this band has something you don't get a lot now a days...a new sound. Finally the era of the "the" bands seems to be on the way out. Panic are making a real impact on todays music scene, well on the way to a sell out UK tour and with this top quality album under their belts Panic are going to be around for a while. They manage to sound individual and fresh enough to keep underground music lovers happy but their popular songs such as "Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off" are drawing in lighter music fans too. ...INTRODUCTION Well, I had to write a review on the band i can't stop listening to and am at the moment. I purchased the album saturday last in Woolworth's so was lucky after a good search. This particular band are from America. I first came across them on myspace music. After a listen to some of their tracks on their i couldn't wait to get the album. Panic at the disco's a fever you can't sweat out is so Easy to listen to and catchy. They are from Las Vegas Nevada. When you listen to the album this does show. In one word a cabaret type feel to many of the tracks. You can certainly imagine them playing in a glitzy vegas hotel. You wouldn't think this for an any indie band but let me explain. Advantages: Something for everyone, new and creative so no danger of boredom.
Disadvantages: You just can't get enough, you may over listen to this CD!!!!

...Fancy adding something new and interesting into your CD collection?? If so PANIC! At the disco is definitly something for you. The songs on this CD are so creative there's no danger of becoming bored halfway through. Their quirky and infectious lyrics will have you singing along in no time, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out is a great album for driving with because the beats of the song will stop you from falling asleep and have you druming along on your steering wheel at the same time. One of my favourite songs is "Build God, Then We'll Talk" despite the random name this is such an amazing song. Taking inspiration from Julie Andrews' Favourite Things, PANIC! have added an dark twist to the song "raindrops on roses and the girls in white dress, sleeping with roaches..."
