Even great fun for adults!
Review of Cafe Mickey by jo28501

Advantages: Great character interaction, good quality food
Disadvantages: Price

Cafe Mickey is a restaurant that specialises in character meals. It is open all day from 7am to 11pm. In the mornings they do character breakfasts, then have a full menu for lunch / dinner. Breakfast is Є17 for Disney hotel guests (Є12 for children) and Є25 for other visitors (Є17 for children). The average meal price for lunch / evening meal is Є8 for a starter, Є22 for a main course and Є8 for a dessert. ...
...menu is Є15. Cafe Mickey is located in Disney Village at Disneyland Paris. It has two floors that overlook the Disney Lake and is no more than 5 minutes walk to any of the Disney hotels. The characters change daily so there is no guarentees of who you will get, though they tend to be the most popular ones. We (myself and my boyfriend, both early twenties) stayed at Disneyland Paris last September. It was classed as an 'off peak' time to go, ... Read review

You'll cherish those moments for so long!!
Review of Disneyland Paris - Character Breakfast by cooldude28

Advantages: Food, Quality, Service, Characters, Staff
Disadvantages: Price could be more affordable.

The Character Breakfast at Disneyland is a must. While in the park and you see your favourite Disney character, it is very hard to spend the time you want to with them. However, by booking a character breakfast there is a chance for you to meet your favourite characters for so much longer than you would if you were outside holding autograph books to their faces. You get to see all characters that are at the breakfast at the day? When we booked our ...
...member of staff in the Disneyland Paris park about booking a character breakfast. The Disney breakfasts are available at different parts of the park, and outside of the park at the Disney Village. This is owned by Disney but just a few metres away from the main entrance. This is a really cool place, so make sure you check it out if you go to Disney, in Paris. You can also have it at your hotel, but I am not sure at which hotels and when, so please ... Read review

A Paris institution, a 'must see' attraction
Review of Bouillon Chartier, Paris by dobieg

Advantages: Very Very French
Disadvantages: First impressions can be a little daunting

Forget the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Notre Dame, THIS is REAL Paris! Situated down a slightly forbidding alleyway at the RUE DU FAUBOURG, just off BOULEVARD MONTMARTRE at the north east of Paris City Centre this is an absolute gem of an establishment, which up to now the Parisians have managed to keep very much for themselves! They opened in 1898, and from what I could see, very little has changed - the decor is simple - a tall long narrow hall with ...
...- on the tables are laid sheets of white newsprint paper (the original disposable tablecloth) Above the tables is the longest brass luggage rack I've ever seen! Down the wall are a series of mirrors running from head height to ceiling, and must be about five metres high - and in between are strange brown wooden constructions comprising of numerous drawers, which were originally supplied so customers could keep their own napkin and cutlery en-suite ... French Brasserie Elegance
Review of La Coupole, Paris by miche_mc

Advantages: Wonderful food, excellent atmosphere
Disadvantages: Often won't accept bookings

La Coupole is one of the great Parisien experiences. Situauted on the Boulevard Montparnasse, it was one of the favourite haunts of Satre and other such French literary and intellectual forces. Whilst perhaps no longer the bohemian brasserie of that age (a few too many tourists for that), La Coupole retains a wonderfully French atmosphere, from it's waistcoated and swift footed waiters to its bustling, but not overloud or overcrowded ambience. The ...
...My last meal at La Coupole was in the company of a vegetarian, and I expected this to be the usual minefield of long explanations as to why simply removing the meat from a plate does not make a vegetarian meal, but was pleased to find excellent vegetarian options. Normally, I worry when i see the phrase 'assiette vegetarien' on a menu, as this can cover a multitude of sins, but we were instead presented with a filo pastry and meditaranian vegetable ... Man what a restaurant!
Review of Man Ray by Shoka

Advantages: Stunning, excellent food, a real experience to dine there
Disadvantages: You need to get dressed up, service a tiny bit slow

...wonderful experience of dining at Man Ray back in June of 2005 while on a short break in Paris. My lovely other half saw the restaurant on TopTable website and booked it as a treat. The only slight downside was as I'd packed light for the weekend, and neither of us had been there before I wasnt as dressed up as I'd have liked to be for somewhere of this calibre. They have also now changed their name to Mandala Ray just in case you want to search ...
...Information on the restaurant Man Ray is owned by Johnny Depp, Sean Penn and John Malkovich which impressed me when I found out. I didnt see any of them here but hey its not like you ever see Gordon Ramsey when you go to any of his places either. You enter the restaurant via a road entrance and once you make yourself known at the reception desk a very attractive female (must be a model or something) leads you down into the crazy circus that is ...
