...Prima seems to be a mixture of everything from health and beauty, fahion, problems to be discussed and then there is the pull out paper patterns relating to a feature in the magazine. It therefore appeals to everyone. I am not craft orientated and therefore have never used the pattern but they seem well designed and are not flimsy considering that they are attached to the book, it is also nice to see what you are attempting to make. There is a glossy look to the magazine and it is published monthly, all on all it offers good value for money.... Read review

Advantages: Ideal for families
Disadvantages: The beach gets a little windy at times.

...If you like Spain and have young children then go to Menorca and stay at Punta Prima. It is a small resort with many visitors during the day but a lot quieter on a night. It is ideal for families with younger children, if you take them for a meal on a night time there are not a lot of older teenagers hogging the pool tables etc. The beach is clean and the sea is shallow, you can wade out for quite a distance before it gets too deep. Sometimes it gets a little windy and the sand gets blown about a bit but in general the breeze is more than welcome. If you stay self catering then the food prices in the shops are very reasonable. Finally, if you do go to Punta Prima you must visit the pub called "La Bolera", run by Jordi and Brenda, you will recieve the warmest welcome you will ever have.... Read review

Advantages: Gives Lots Of Tips,hints, and some cheats

...This is a great book it tells you all about the Sims 2 not just hints and tips it's also for beginners who don't know what the Sims 2 is all about, and I had a friend in my school and he didn't know much about the Sims 2 but this PRIMA guide taut him how to play the Sims 2! This Guide also has lots of parts like The basics (How to play with 2 chapters) Creating neighborhoods, families and Sims (Has 3 chapters in) Its a lot like life (11 chapters) All in the family: Sims in action(1 chapter) Beyond the game(6 chapters, including a page of: General cheats ,neighborhood ONLY cheats, Filmmaking cheats. I really like these prima books because they tell you a lot about the game, you can also get these prima books on lots of other games including: the Sims 2 Nightlife, University, and Open for business. Advantages: Fresh bread

...Now, don't get me wrong. I like our Prima breadmaker. It produces some tasty loaves, it is fairly easy to use but there are problems with the Prima breadmaker that could (perhaps that would better be should?) have been fixed before it went into production. For example it is very noisy, and I have noticed with a couple of these machines they tend to start to rattle rather a lot when kneading the dough. Also, it is not uncommon for people who use breadmakers (especially those who are new to the breakmaking machine game!) to accidentally put too much bread mixture in. This can result in the bread dough rising too much and overflowing into the machine and covering the element. This can cause problems with cleaning the dough off the elements as there seems to have been no thought given to dealing with such accidental spillage... Read review

...Looking Throught the Ciao reviews on Breadmakers makes me glad that I did not read them before I bought my breadmaker It is a prima Breadmaker and cost in the region of £110 . It is simple to use. The bread that comes out of it is excellent. The baking tin is rectangular so It products normal shape Loaves of Bread. Sometimes I wake up in the morning and as I am half way down stairs the heavenly smell of fresh bread greats me. With my breadmaker you can not tel the differance between a loaf purchased at a bakers and mine Its light Fluffy moist and tasty .The bakup service from Prima is also good as my first bread tin lost some of its non stick . I wrote a letter and by return of post a new one arrived . I have had no trouble with the replacement tin either. Since buying the breadmaker I can count on one hand the times I have bought... Advantages: feeds all fish
Disadvantages: sometimes gets sucked into filter

...This is the fish food that I use the most. Mainly because its purpose is to feed all the fish in your tropical tank. Tetra Prima is orange/red coloured pellets that float on the top and then sink gradually. This way it feeds the top feeders and then as it slowly sinks the mid-feeders can feed and finally upon reaching the bottom low and behold it feeds your bottom feeders!! I particularly like this product for the fact it doesn't seem to cloud the water, as I sometimes find with some makes of flake. All the fish seem to like it and don't hesitate in feeding on it. It easily breaks up which is ideal for smaller fish but small enough for the like of my Clown Loach to each in one go!!!! The only trouble with the smaller pieces, as they're falling, is that they do sometimes float straight into the filter. The fish seem to look... Read review

...I've been using my bread machine for a few years now and I've found that I'm using it less and less! When I first purchased my Prima ABM9 we were having fresh bread daily - I was even programming it to start and complete before breakfast. The aroma of freshly baked bread first thing in a morning was as much an incentive to get the family out of bed as the pot of fresh coffee that was brewing. Positives A clean and easy way to make fresh bread, dough and cakes. Never had a bread making failure - every time I've used this machine my family have come back for more! Negatives This appliance takes up a lot of counter space. The programmes are lengthy. The noise. Over all I've been very satified with my bread maker. However, if Prima were to make a smaller, quieter model that gave the same excellent results, I would trade... Read review

Advantages: some useful crafty stuff
Disadvantages: the most patronising thing published since 1920something!

...Way back when, in the first half of the last century, women's magazines were all about how to be a nice little lady who cooked nice meals for hubby and was thrifty and handy around the house. Then came the 1960s and all that was swept away and magazines were politicised and carried articles about the real world - and even stuff that was fun! Then came Prima with its knitting patterns, recipes and articles about children's sniffles. I don't object to that per se, if it sells, which it does, then it's doing something right. I actually bought this for one if its patterns but I was quite horrified at the tone of the rest of the publication. Just because I am female and may wish to know how to sew a coat, it does not mean I don't have two brain cells to rub together! I do not need to be patronised, talked down to and downright insulted... Read review

...then realized that included with the magazine was a free Prima Pattern pullout showing you how to make a halter neck dress. I think I will be avoiding that section like the plague. I was quite put off with the way the magazine smelt. I was a really strong paper smell that I noticed each time I turned the page over. Prima is split into different sections and this issue contained the following, Fashion 15 pages Good Reads 12 pages Beauty 4 pages Prima Solutions 8 pages Mind Body and Soul 22 pages Home and garden 18 pages Prima Creatives 22 pages Cookery 15 pages With all these sections it is hard to say what type of magazine this really is apart from a Women’s magazine. I did find the health section an interesting read and think Prima addressed testicular cancer well warning people of the symptoms. I think this is a good topic to discuss... Read review

Advantages: succulent food everytime
Disadvantages: no complaints here though it does get hot

...The Prima Superchef has got to be one of the best things I have ever purchased. I bought one after I had sampled chicken cooked in one by a friend and it was really succulent. Since buying the Superchef my oven and grill have become obsolete, if you have a caravan or a small kitchen the Superchef really is a must. The Superchef works using hot air and it seals and cooks food at the same time, so that meat is succulent and cooked to perfection. The temperature is more accurate than my normal oven and with the timer I can safely go out and leave cakes cooking, knowing that when I return they will be cooked perfectly and ready to eat. Even using the grill functions leaves meat juicy instead of dried out, Roasting vegetables, making low fat chips, makes the Superchef ideal for anyone on a diet. Got a large family?
