...What a strange thing to debate. I feel like such a geek. Well, in all honesty I am a bit of a geek, but I feel that this is taking it to new limits! In my spare time, writing a review on whether 1 is a prime number of not. However, I have to say (digging myself into an even deeper hole here!) it has always interested me somewhat. I remember debating it a few years ago in primary school when it was 'cool' to be clever. Then, of course, in high school, most wouldn't be seen dead debating whether one is a prime number, but I like to think I have grown out of that now! I have a feeling that this is going to be a fairly short review, as I don't feel that there are so many points to examine as in other debates I have done. ...Well after 2 years (1 and a half for us Europeans) Metroid Prime 2: Echoes has come out. And it must be said that it has been improved over Prime quite considerably. When Metroid Prime came out, it was hailed as the best game of this generation and some critics hailed it as the best game ever. I personally wont go as far as that but I do believe that it is the best game on the cube by far. Retro studios had a daunting task with Prime, but now that they have the respect and acclaim they deserve they now have to show the world they can do it again with Echoes. However sequels are a tricky business when the first game was almost near perfect. Echoes continues where Prime left of. You play as Samus Aran as always, however you do not have a small level to start of with (like the derelict space station in Prime). You are taken straight... Read review

...boo hoo This program really brings me to tears! I can't watch it anymore, same thing over and over again not to mention its on 2 or 3 times a day on BBC Prime. Enough please BBC Prime. It seems every time I turn on this channel there it is .... on yet again. Stupid presenters and very stupid contestants. Why do they waste there time, its just so fake and plastic in my opinion. And what about the prizes... mmm really nice to win a couple of pots or a toaster, I'd must prefer to take the lossers prize of a free meal for two and a bottle of wine. ...The main reason I am doing this posting is the incorrect information on some postings regarding Capital One and their various credit cards. Firstly the PREMIER card does NOT have a high APR which has been stated. The APR on this card is 12%apr. With a balance transfer rate of6.9%. They have a sub-prime card known as the Classic card, you can pick various designs with this card. There is the original Green card,ones with cats and dogs on etc. With the Premier card there is no annual fee, with the classic range of cards there is an £18 annual fee. The higher your credit limit on the Classic cards reduces your APR,they may start you off with a small credit limit of £200 and this would be extremely high. Being a sub-prime card holder with Capital One doesn't mean you have a terrible credit file, infact having NO credit history can make... Read review

...The idea is a simple but effective one: Life in Downing Street as seen by the Prime Minister's twelve year old son, Dillon. The world is shown in a wonderfully child-like way, where prime ministerial power is seen as an embarrassing dad being silly. The stories are beautifully far-fetched, for example Dillon asking the Foreign Office for help with his homework and almost starting a war with Bolivia. The writing seems flawless. It manages to be very funny in places, while being almost constantly witty. Although most of the characters are quite simply defined and shallow, the quality of writing and acting make them very easy to identify with. The series was written by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman, the writing team responsible for Private Eye. The cynical side to their humour is clearly visible, but the writing is also very warm... ...Metroid Prime Pinball is both a cracking slice of ball flipping and also a magnificent evocation of the Metroid Prime games. It's a genuinly plesent suprise after other pinball games have been messed up. Naturally as with all pinball games, the aim is to rack up an enormous high score measuring in the millions. To do this however you have to collect 12 artefacts, whereapon you'll gain acess to the artifact temple. Get beyond that and theres a final tricky challenge for you to take on. Excluding the temple and the final course there are four tables to play. Tallon overworld and the Pirate Frigate are the two main table, and meeting cartain criteria during the Multi mission mode allows you to move between these and the extra two tables Phendrana drifts and the Phazon mines, both of which feature bosses to destroy. ...When a classic character like Samus Aran makes a massive change from 2D to 3D, it can sometimes ruin its legacy but thankfully this isn't the case with Metroid Prime. What Nintendo and Retro Studios have done is create one of THE best games on the Gamecube. The game begins on a space station where you learn the basic controls. Moving around is relatively easy but when it comes to the combat newcomers will have some slight problems but it's nothing that another 5 minutes or so won't fix. After fighting a few space pirates and a gigantic bug, you try to leave the station in a rush before it explodes into smithereens. Due to the explosion, Samus loses most of her vital equipment and lands on a planet called Talon IV to try and figure out what exactly is happening. The gameplay is exceptional and one of a kind. ...I used to love this program when it was on at night, now in the second series Eric and his family have returned in a new prime time slot which kind of ruins it for me! Stressed Eric is one of the funniest cartoon you will ever have the chance to watch and i suggest you do, Eric has a vein on the top of his head which pulseates violently when he is stressed and that is often, hence his name, Eric has all sorts of problems in his life from work to the kids and his drunken nanny who leaves the children to do what ever they want. Stressed Eric is a brilliant program i just wish that it hadn't sold out and gone prime time!... Read review

...It’s not often that a really good game comes along; while the GameCube has had its fair share of smash hits, with the likes of Pikmin, TimeSplitters 2 and Smash Bros. Melee, nothing has come close to the magic of Mario 64 or the genius of Ocarina of Time. Until now. Metroid Prime isn’t just another good game, you don’t just turn it on and think you’re playing a great game, you think you’re playing a part of history… For some, the control system in Prime can be a bit of a drag, but this really isn’t the case.
