To me, Almond suggests quite a dark colour and so did the small colour code on the packaging but this really isn't the case. I thought the best thing for me to do would be to go into Boots and ask someone who knows what they're talking about. I have very fair skin so was advised that 'New Ivory' would suit me best. I took their word for it and bought some. COLOURS AVAILABLE This foundation comes in 6 different shades. Advantages: Very close to Sutton Coldfield town centre and any bus route that goes into Sutton COldfield. It's close enough to pay a quick visit during your lunch break.
Disadvantages: None that I can think of except that I can't go as often as I would like

...Radiant Ladies is a small beauty salon in While Road, Sutton Coldfield not far from the town centre well within walking distance. When you first look for it, it's abit awkward as it is in rooms over a chemist shop but once you know where you are going, there's no problem. There is a little bit of a car park - enough room for arund 4 cars but as they would probably only have 2 clients in the salon at any one time, that is more than enough. The salon itself is ran by two women - Caroline who is the owner, and Andrea, both of whom are very pleasant to speak to both on the phone and in person. Whatever treatment you are looking for, if they can do it, they will. The sales assistant suggested that the Radiant Glow foundation would meet my requirements and that the shade Blonde was the closest to my skin tone. ...Foundation, i love my foundation. Im one of those girls who never leaves home without foundation, mainly due to a scar above my left eye. So armed with my Boots advantage card, i walk into wolverhampton centre, Boots here we come. I like No 7 products, i have mostly trusted them to others. Reaching the cosmetics, i searched the foundations and picked up the Boots No.7 Radiant Glow Foundation,. Packaging: this isnt so bad, showing the shade of the foundation in a nice container with a gold lettered black lid. I always pick up the colour or shade which i think matches, rather than read the type. I have combination skin, While my cheeks are normal and smooth, my forehead and chin are sometimes oily and prone to the odd breakout of spots. Despite my sometimes spotty chin, I told the lady that I wanted minimal coverage, because more than anything I like to look natural, I don't EVER want to look 'caked' and especially not on my wedding day. ...I hate wearing foundation, but there seems to be no way round it for my wedding. The very helpful girl on the Debenhams Elizabeth Arden counter matched me up with the Flawless Finish Radiant Make up and it is fantastic - I am a total convert! It's really hard to tell that you're wearing it, unless you get very close up to the mirror, but the overall result is brilliant. It evens out skin tone, but it gives the most amazing finish - like magazine model skin! It really does have a luminous finish and it doesn't feel like a 'medium coverage' foundation, as it's described - it's much much lighter than that. I use the Flawless Finish ultra smooth loose power with it and my word, does that also do exactly what it says! I think I have pretty good skin at 36, but this knocks 10 years off it!... Read review
