Reviews of radisson edwardian
Radisson Edwardian Marlborough, Bloomsbury, London
Review of Radisson Edwardian Marlborough, London by
strangebedbug
Advantages: Elegant, affordable luxury hotel
Disadvantages: Only one...missing the usual range of toiletries
...We loved this hotel, ideally located for everything you'd need for a weekend visit to London. On the doorstep you have museums (we visited the British Museum to look at all the plunder of the Empire), theatres, shops (Oxford St), and all manner of touristy distractions!
The hotel itself was beautiful, very elegant and tastefully decorated, with a marble lobby and very attractive artworks. As you move away form the lobby, the decor is less impressive, but still very nicely done in the Edwardian style.
Our room was small but perfectly formed, with a large bed, dressing table, double wardrobe, tea and coffee facilities, mini bar and TV. An iron andironing board are provided, along with meanding kit and trouser press, all the things you'd expect. The room was very clean and the sheets a luxurious satin-cotton. Lovely!
The bathroom...

The Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf
Review of Radisson SAS Edwardian Sussex Hotel, Marble Arch, London by
annmarie.wills
Advantages: Stunning hotel, big rooms, security is good
Disadvantages: Room Service and Reception staff don't care!
...The Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf is a luxury 4 star hotel. I stayed in this hotel just 2 weeks ago for one night at a price of £150 - I had this on Last Minute.Com as a Top Secret Hotel. I chose this hotel due to the close location to the O2. The location is spot on with fantastic views, little did I know that between the hotel and the O2 is a river! This meant 2 tube rides to get to the O2.
The hotel is very glamouros, clean and has good security. Check in is at 2pm, I arrived at 1:55 and they wouldn't allow me to check in - bit mean I thought! Check out is at 11am. They did take my luggage from me while I sat in reception until 2pm.
The rooms are very modern with a bathroom that has a shower and a nice deep bath. You have a flat screen tv, access to the internet (you have to pay) and a CD player, alarm and lovely...

SERVICE WITH A SMILE
Review of Radisson Edwardian Marlborough, London by
Tiger_Eyes
Advantages: AFFORDABLE LUXURY...
Disadvantages: ...ONLY STAYED FOR ONE NIGHT :(
...This is a review of The Radisson Edwardian Marlborough Hotel - an immaculate 4 star hotel situated in the Bloomsbury section of London.
The world famous British Museum is but a hop, skip and a jump away (ok, maybe a 5 minute walk is more appropriate, but it’s very close by!)
A stunning black exterior and chic interior certainly indicate an impressive hotel indeed and as you enter, a magnificent marbled lobby greets you...
The reception staff and concierge are very friendly, well trained and courteous (always a bonus I find!). Christos and I received excellent service during our stay at the hotel (albeit for one night only!)
The room we had was beautifully decorated with traditional English décor and elegant furnishings.
As well as a hairdryer and a trouser press, there was also an ironing board, an iron, tea/coffee/herbal tea...

(Not quite) Wunderbar Vanderbilt......
Review of Radisson Edwardian Vanderbilt, London by
richardsonjones
Advantages: Great Location
Disadvantages: Strange smell in the room?
...I visited the Radisson Edwardian Vanderbilt for 1 night in March 2004 after booking it for a birthday treat for my mom.
The Hotel is located in Kensington, 1 minute away from Gloucester Road tube stop (Circle, Piccadilly & District Lines) so it benefits from a great location and is very easily accessible.
The exterior of the hotel is very impressive & the lobby too, while small, is very pretty. What's more the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and we were even upgraded to a better room when they found out our trip was to celebrate my mother's birthday. They offered to make a reservation for us for dinner in the evening, and even called to remind us to put our clocks forward one hour (we stayed the weekend that the clocks in the UK change from GMT to BST).
However, having stayed in many similar hotels in London...

AKIN TO "Nice Legs, Shame about the Face"......
Review of Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel, London by
sue.51
Advantages: Very convenient location, free high speed wireless internet throughout, comfortable beds
Disadvantages: Single rooms VERY small, food choice limited and expensive, doesn't strike me as the safest of areas at night
...OK, maybe not quite, but you'll hopefully get the gist
A rare requirement to stay in central London; we had a location and needed to find a hotel nearby. I identified Jury's in Great Russell Street, unfortunately it was outside our budget, and we were offered two close alternatives the Russell Hotel or the Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth. Now, possibly naively, I had always associated Radisson with upmarket outlets, but had never stayed in any. Although we did have a drink in the R E Hampshire in Leicester Square, and at just under £10 for two cokes and a lemonade, well if money means quality, then it would be OK, wouldn't it?

Simply Perfect
Review of Radisson Edwardian Manchester, Manchester by
KELLYLOUJ
Advantages: Great service, ideal location, modern rooms with lots of fab features
Disadvantages: The prices.
...As another of my friends prepares to tie the know another hen night involved a hotel reservation to be made in central Manchester.
As there were no rooms left where the actual hens were staying in, my friend and I tried to get the best rate for a hotel not too far away. As I got a fantastic rate for the Radisson Edwardian I made my reservation there.
I made my reservation over the phone directly with the hotel to secure my rate of £75 for the room for the night, however reservations can be made on their website www.radissonedwardian.com/manchester.
*~*Locating the Hotel*~*
The hotel is easy to miss on busy Peter Street as the entrance is set away from the pavement; I was armed with maps to ensure that I didn't end up at the wrong location.
I arrived into Manchester Piccadilly after costing up driving and parking it was cheaper to go...

The Free Trade Hall, Manchester
Review of Free Trade Hall by
Shekera
Advantages: A very historial Manchester building.
Disadvantages: Outdated as a music venue.
...and made many speeches in the Free Trade Hall.
The Future
The Free Trade Hall has recently been sold by Manchester City Council to a private developer and announcements have been made regarding plans to transform this historic Free Trade Hall into a £45 million luxury hotel complex.
Work is expected to start at the beginning of this year and the hotel is due to open in 2004. It will be under the management of the Radisson Edwardian Hotel group. This will be the Radisson’s first five star luxury hotel outside of London.
Manchester City Council believes the agreed design will greatly enhance the building’s distinctive facade on Peter Street. It is planned to preserve as many of the existing features of the façade as possible, however, the plans will incorporate a new sixteen storey tower which will replace the rather...
