Home with my Range
Review of Rangemaster ELAN DUEL FUEL by
anwar
Advantages: see review
Disadvantages: see review
...that a different engineer would be sent who was very familiar with Rangemaster. This happened and the oven was repaired efficiently.
I have since been paid £75 in compensation by Rangemaster.
Despite the problems I experienced I would still recommend a Rangemaster oven. I would suggest that you telephone their excellent customer service department directly should you experience any problems.
It is a real shame that an excellent product, with an excellent reputation, is being spoilt by a very poor service department....

Better than sex
Review of Rangemaster 110 by
Ellio
Advantages: Good looking, superbly built cooker
Disadvantages: Glass top is difficult to keep clean
...I moved into an old farmhouse about a year ago and decided that the kitchen needed a range cooker. After considering the various options including a traditional wood burning aga I opted for the easier to maintain range style Cooker.
I traipsed round countless shops looking at everything that was available and opening and closing doors like a mad woman until I found exactly what I wanted. It is surprising how many of them felt like the doors were buckling as you opened them. I opted for the incredibly well built and solid feeling Rangemaster 110. It comes in a variety of options including Electric, Gas, LPG and dual fuel.
It has four rings on top as well as an excellent griddle and a warming plate. Never having used a griddle before I was uncertain of its advantages but I am now a total convert as it cooks food very quickly and very...

Rangemaster toledo 110 cooker
Review of Rangemaster Toledo 110 Duelfuel DF 64510 by
max1966
Advantages: Looks really smart and efficient
Disadvantages: None that spring to mind
...We bought a rangemaster toledo 110 cooker for our new kitchen earlier this year.
We decided on the colour of silver rather than stainless steal as this is easier to clean and wipe.
The double oven is brilliant and practical. One is fan assisted so is really fast the other is just conventional. They are both large and can easily cook Christmas dinner for a family of 14. Both have large windows on the doors which is brilliant for checking on foods. Built in oven lights too.
It also has a separate built in grill. If you need to grill something small you just switch on half the grill - how cool is that?
The built in hob on top is lovely. We have electric so naturally have a ceramic hob. This too is easy to clean. There are 6 halogen rings. Two of which you can half on or full on.
Beware of scratches though on the g;ass hob.
All in all...

Really a CLASSIC
Review of Rangemaster Classic 90 by
Rosarii
Advantages: Twin fan ovens
Disadvantages: None to date
...The Rangemaster Classic 90 in Dual Fuel really is an outstanding cooker.
We went for the matt black version with chrome trim and it is a great focal point to our kitchen.
It has 5 gas burners - 1 small, 2 medium, and 1 large, plus a double burner which as it name suggests is wonderful when wok cooking.
It has 2 electric fan ovens, 1 of which is tall and houses 4 racks plus a plate rack. It also has a large separate grill, with browning elements. The cooker comes complete with a griddle and a Handyrack (with roasting tray) which is fixed (can be removed) to the oven door and makes basting easy.
The cooker has a temperature which is useful and a clock, which allows you to programme meals ready for your arrival home.
Delivery was just 2 weeks, although the Splash Back took longer for some reason.
Check out the location of cupboards before...

RangeMaster 90 - A Master in the kitchen!
Review of Rangemaster 90 GAS by
Spottydog11
Advantages: Looks great, two different ovens, 5 hobs, cleans easily
Disadvantages: Expensive
...When I moved into my new house (a new build on a new development) the kitchen came with the impressive kitchen beast that I like to call the Rangemaster 90 (when I say came free I mean didn't have to pay extra on top of the extortionist price we had to pay for the house).
Anyway, I was very impressed by this little fact and that almost sold the house to me then and there, but not quite. If you have to buy them I believe they are in the region of £1,500 but in my opinion well, well worth it if you can afford it.
Anyway, I can tell you, I am the envy of all my friends now whenever they come over as after 2 years they still mention the oven as the first thing they do when they walk in the kitchen.
According to a recent range cooker survey carried about by Which ? magazine, they voted it best buy August 2007 and for the Toledo 110...

Rangemaster 90 Dual Fuel
Review of Rangemaster Classic 90 by
tonymanley
Advantages: Easy to use, Looks great
Disadvantages: None
...Inspiration
Having seen this beast of an oven in a local shop I was hooked and had to ahve it for my new kitchen. I was intrigued to find it cheaper than the £1500 for the version I wanted.
Getting the Deal
A bit of searching on the net and I managed to get the same oven (black with gold trim), with an extractor and five year warranty on both for less than I could have got just the oven in MF*.
Paid for by C/C the company phoned back to confirm everything was ok and gave us a cust ref number and tel number for the Rangemaster Company who were going to make the oven for me from scratch (which if you didn't know is part of the Aga group - can't get much better!).
A quick and easy call to Rangemaster confirmed a morning time to a specific delivery date.
Delivery
The morning arrived!
I was awoken at 7.45am by the sounds of a deisel...

The door fell off my Rangemaster!
Review of Rangemaster Classic 90 by
reviewer201
Advantages: Capacious ovens
Disadvantages: Strange extra shelves and dangerous doors
...- it turned out it was accurate temperature-wise but slower than the oven I had before. The second call out was because the slim oven door fell off its hinges when the oven was on! Deeply concerning. To give them their due, Rangemaster were very apologetic about this and it was fixed promptly, but this is really unacceptable.
So yes, a good cooker, but not without issues to my mind!...

Top dog oven
Review of Leisure Rangemaster 55 Auto by
willsmj
Advantages: cooking availability space
Disadvantages: wide
...The leisure rangemaster is a superb piece of equipment. I couldn't do without it (or my wife as it is she that does the cooking!).
It is available in blue, green or dark red, and the colour scheme fits in with most kitchens, in fact the cookers appearance would enhance any kitchen.
The appliance is dual fuel, being both electric and gas, so if you are unfortunate enough to live in an area that has power cuts in bad weather, half the cooker can still be used.
It is a double width cooker so space is required. It has two ovens, a conventional oven and a fan oven. These ovens are electic fed and can both be used at the same time.
There are four burners on the hob part of the cooker and vary in size. The burners are gas fuelled. These are on the left hand side of the cooker.
On the right hand side of the hob part is a hotplate, which...

It cooks food...
Review of Leisure Rangemaster 55 Auto by
indychick_uk
Advantages: Double oven, warming area, wok burner, griddle
Disadvantages: Quite expensive
...The Leisure Rangemaster comes in a variety of guises; gas, electric, dual fuel, and in several colours; red, green, black. The one I've just bought is dual fuel and it's red.
I bought the Rangemaster for a number of reasons. Firstly, and most importantly, I needed a cooker. I've just got married and moved house and our new home was rather lacking in cooking facilities. So having established a legitimate reason for buying a cooker, why did I choose the Rangemaster?
The previous owners of our home had a range style cooker and so the space which they left in the kitchen was very large, I love cooking and have always fancied having a "farmhouse" kitchen complete with Aga - but failing that a range "style" cooker would be fine.
Of the various range-style cookers which we looked at the Rangemaster had several features which made it stand...

The shining star in my kitchen
Review of Rangemaster Toledo 90 E by
suelr13
Advantages: lots of space and useful features, versatile
Disadvantages: struggling to think of any!
...I've had the Rangemaster Toledo 90 for just over a year and am very pleased with my purchase. I have the all electric, ceramic hob version and find it attractive to look at, efficient and versatile. The product information shown on CIAO for this model (although mine isn't an'E' and it has 2 fan ovens) is the one that best fits my cooker which explains why I've chosen to review a product without a photo!
I chose this cooker as I was finding that my normal 600mm cooker really wasn't big enough when my children all visited, now that they both also have spouses in tow! So I managed to persuade my original kitchen fitter to come and move some kitchen units around so that I could fit in a 90cm wide cooker and thus be the proud owner of a cooker with 2 ovens and 5 ceramic hob areas.
I did my research and being a fan of electric cookers...
