...The following is a review of the Raritan Dominion DX2-101. Throughout this review I will discuss the device as the "Dominion". What we wanted I think firstly it would be handy to describe the product I was looking for when I purchased the Dominion and what I was looking to achieve. This is not be the only use as I will describe but may help to understand what I was looking for and why. A big part of my work is to diagnose computer (PC or laptop) problems. A lot of this work has to be done remotely in offices connected to our network via "remote control" software and could be anywhere in the world. This tends to be done with applications such as Dameware, PCAnywhere or perhaps more well known to home users the Remote Assistance and Desktop built into Windows XP. Advantages: Subtler, more psychological than The Exorcist 4
Disadvantages: Dull

Rather than a sequel, the film was to be a prequel, introducing us to a younger Father Merrin and telling us the tale of how the priest was first introduced to the demon who possessed Regan MacNeil in the original 1973 classic. Directors and writers were signed up but when the finished product was not considered horrible enough, the original director was binned and a new version - Exorcist - The Beginning - was put into production and eventually released to cinemas (with lukewarm responses). However, the original version of the prequel had been all but finished and was subsequently left languishing on a cutting room shelf. History Six years ago, the remaining members of the group Queen (obviously minus Freddie Mercury) joined together with Ben Elton and an internationally renowned creative team to create the stage show We Will Rock You. This musical features 31 of Queen's hits. The first show of We Will Rock You took place in May 2002 at the Dominion Theatre on Tottenham Court Road in London. In May of 2002, "We Will Rock You" made its debut performance at the Dominion Theatre on Tottenham Court Road, in London. The theatre was packed then, and it has been ever since, which shows just how popular the show really is. When I was there (14/02/06), I was very impressed to see a wide age range in the audience, young and not so young. Part of me was expecting that just those who remember when Queen were in their glory days would be there, with maybe one or two people like me who just happen to like that kind of music. Disadvantages: Digraceful ticketing system.

...I never wanted to go and see this show and on top of that I didn't want to enjoy it. There are far too many musicals based on back-catlogue music from bands. Mamma Mia, Our House, Tabooand soon Cliff - The Musical and a Rod Stewart one! Eeeek. Also ticket prices, especially for this show, are shocking - another reason I will not be visiting the West End any time soon. But enjoy this show I did (sorry, went all Yoda there for some strange reason) and here is a review of a show panned and thrashed by the critics, but one that the audiences have taken to their hearts. ***THE THEATRE*** The Dominion Theatre is located slap bang on Tottenham Court Road just above the Tottenham Court Road tube station. ...Set in a future where the bacterial air pollution has become so bad that it is required of the population to wear gas-masks, the first of this two-part anime - based on Masamune Shirow's manga of the same name - sees the Tank Police welcome a new member in Leona. She soon finds herself thick in the action as the Tank Police aim to stop the Buaku Gang, whom have been stealing urine samples from a specialist hospital. The film begins on an argument as to whether it is worth having the Tank Police for their troubles, though when it is suggested that nuclear weapons be used to stop crime, it's not as serious as it appears. I guess Dominion: Tank Police can be classed as a comedy but unfortunately I found the laughs to be few and far between. .... -------- Tickets -------- Tickets for this show are ludicrously expensive. Why? Because the primary audience is Queen fans. This is the only show that I am aware of which sets different prices for different evenings. Top price is £40 Mon-Thurs and matinees, £45 on Friday and £50 on Saturday night. They also set a new record for Souvenir Brochures, charging £10 for both the proggramme and the brochure. Cleverly, they have not put anything in the programme bar the cast, crew and the running order of scenes and songs. All the articles are in the souvenir brochure. Luckily, you can get tickets most nights at TKTS for half price. It is worth getting any stalls tickets up to about row Z as the Dominion is an incredibly open theatre and visibility is excellent from just about everywhere. ...Not to be mixed up with 'New Dominion Tank Police', this second and final volume (acts III & IV) sees the Tank Police after Buaku and his gang, whom are seemingly up to no good in a museum. But the two volumes can almost be treated seperately - it's not absolutely necessary to watch the first volume to get what is going on in the second. Whilst there are surprising, albeit short shifts to a serious tone, much of the action and comedy is carried through to these final acts, still putting the terror into 'terrogation' with grenades but out with the adult jokes. There is nudity, but at least it's not so random this time around. The quality of the animation is still average, with the action failing to stand out. Advantages: Great Roller Coasters, and plenty of other attractions
Disadvantages: Outside the main tourist area

...If you love roller coasters, you'll love Paramount's Kings Dominion theme park. Set about 30 miles north of Richmond, Virginia (USA), this park is home to some of the best roller coasters I have ever seen. Ok, Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, is supposed to have the best coasters, but this park can't be far off. It has a combination of both steel and wooden roller coasters, and all are brilliant. The centre point of the park is a one-third sized replica of the Eiffel Tower. There is a lift to the top, from where you can see the entire park and the surrounding countryside for miles around. The park is great for everyone. There are other rides other than roller coasters, just not so many as you would typically find in most other theme parks. There is a selection of water rides, and an entire 'Nickelodeon' zone, filled with rides... Read review
