Resident Evil 4, yes the classic is back!!
Review of Resident Evil 4 (GameCube) by  Gamedude

Advantages: Improved graphics, graphics, story
Disadvantages: Some minor annoyances with the controls

..."US Agent Leon Kennedy has been tasked into the abduction of the President's daughter and his investigation has led him to a mysterious location in Europe. As Leon encounters many unimaginable horrors , he must find out whst is behind the horror". A few things to clarify before the review: *Even though this is billed as Resident Evil 4 if you actually kept count this is more like Resident Evil 9 but Capcom has elected to ignore the other games. Instead Capcom has chosen to bridge the gap so to speak by focusing on characters from the original two games. *Despite the claims that this game is all about Umbrella, it's not but there are some similarities between this game and Resident Evil2. *Resident Evil 2 was not the end of the Umbrella Corporation as Resident Evil 3 Nemesis showed, the end of the game was only... Resident Evil 4 - No Words 4 It
Review of Resident Evil 4 (GameCube) by  TheCrow21

Advantages: Amazing graphics, gameplay and storyline
Disadvantages: Very gorey and more action then horror

...Returning to the famous series with a bang, the long awaited Resident Evil 4 delivers everything from action that is seamingly endless and executed in multiple styles to a storyline that could shock and surprise a fortune teller. We begin with a Mr. Leon S. Kennedy (what the S stands for is a mystery for the ages) who all the resident series fans will know immediately was our hero from the somewhat blockier but enjoyable Resident Evil 2. Now Leon has been sent on a government investigation mission in search of the president's daughter who was last seen in a Spanish farming communities village. For this potentially dangerous mission in completely unknown territory searching for one of the countries most highly regarded citizens they send...You. A single government agent with a handgun that can only be explained as "Wha'?". Enough... Read review

Resident Evil 4: More gore, less boredom.
Review of Resident Evil 4 (PS2) by  DoctorNemesis

Advantages: Pretty damn scary, fun to play, far better than previous RE games.
Disadvantages: Reaction timer sections can be annoying.

...While Resident Evil 1 - 3 were sort of enjoyable while you were roaming around blasting zombies, they also suffered from some major problems. Wonky fixed camera angles meant that you frequently couldn't see half of the foes that were lumbering towards you. There was also a lot of collecting and constructing bizarre items known as 'emblems' just to open a door - apparently no-one in the Resident Evil universe had heard of keys, or kicking a door down. And there was also a massive amount of to-ing and fro-ing between areas. It wasn't exactly a recipe for fun. I was, therefore, pleasantly surprised to see that Capcom have apparently gone back to the drawing board with Resident Evil 4. True, you do still need to pick up the occasional object to open a door, but far less frequently than in previous games. And the wonky camera angles... Read review

Resident Evil 4/5?
Review of Resident Evil 4 (PS2) by  thesavagehun

Advantages: Interactive, amazing graphics!
Disadvantages: too gory for some!

...Resident Evil 4 is a rather unusual game in two ways. One, despite being entitled number 4, it is actually the 5 resident evil game in the series, as its PS2 predecessor was the rather forgettable Resident Evil: Codename Veronica X. Secondly, this game does not feature zombies, but rather, crazed cultists infected with some bizarre biological parasite. I suppose another major way that Resident Evil 4 differs from its predecessors is that it is a rather excellent game. Previously, the game consisted of running down one deserted street after another, picking up random objects to solve "the latest puzzle". The puzzles in the Resident Evil games have never been particularly challenging, more of a case of, go to location A, kill the super monster, and pick up the reward. Thus, coupled with the random and somewhat aimless wandering around... Read review

Resident Evil 4
Review of Resident Evil 4 (PS2) by  gav-o

Advantages: Great graphics, Awesome story, Never gets old or boring
Disadvantages: None unless being addicted is bad for you personally

...Resident Evil 4 is the most playable game on the ps2 for me personally. It offers great visuals and awesome gameplay throughout. The whole ingame mechanics have been re-designed for a new and even more fun experience, quick gun play allows massive shoot ups with massive crowds of enemy's in large open spaces, making it one of the most successful games of its time. Story You play the role of Leon S Kennedy one of the few Survivors from the Racoon City outbreak a few years back, because of his skills and survival techniques shown in the Racoon City outbreak Leon was recruited as a secret agent who's job is to rescue the presidents daughter Ashley Graham who has been kidnapped by an unknown cult. His mission is to bring back Ashely by any means necessary. Leon travels to a Spanish-speaking village in Europe, where he encounters... Read review

Resident Evil 4 an ideal Horror game
Review of Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition by  k800ifan07

Advantages: A Great Addition to the Resi Evil Range
Disadvantages: Wii Zapper Not Compitable

...Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition is based on Resident Evil 4 which was released a few years ago on the Gamecube and PS2. In Resident Evil 4 you are a man named Leon S Kennedy on a Mission to save the Presidents Daughter (Ashly Graham) who was kidnapped by a Group who took her to a Area which is covered by People who have been taken by a Evil Force somewhere in europe (i think) You mission is to Keep Ashly Safe and take her back home but to do this you have to Kill a series of Charters and work through a series of Areas to get ashly to the safe point. While you fighting Monsters you have to make sure ashly does not get carried away or killed as if that happens its game over. Through out the game you meet a series of Charters from Pervious Residents Evils such as Jack Krauser an ex Colleague of Leon who was presumed dead. Ada Wong... Read review

Capcom Residents Return 4 Evil.
Review of Resident Evil 4 (PS2) by  masterblaster1982

Advantages: Stunning graphics, re-desiged story, gameplay, controls and enemies.
Disadvantages: No button to quick change weapons.

...Game Info Genre = Action Adventure Horror Developer = Capcom Publisher = Capcom Players = 1 player Online = No Age = 15+ Released = November 2005 --------------------------------------------------------------- You start the game being sent to a small Spanish village, to look for President's daughter who has been kidnapped. Playing the lead character leon now a U.S. agent back from the resident 2 game. Resident evil games has always been against zombies, but here you fight against spanish monks thats being controled by the master. Also the prevuios games has been Survival/Horror with some changling puzzles but here its more action based with any puzzles you come to is very easy. GRAPHICS: The graphics are stunningly detailed. You may see a very small different co-paired to the gamecube but saying that Resident Evil 4... Read review

Resident Evil 4- best survival horror to date!
Review of Resident Evil 4 (Wii) by  kat74_uk

Advantages: All- if u want a grown up-ish game for the wii- buy this!
Disadvantages: NONE!

...I have pretty much every console, except the Xbox 360 & the DS. I am a huge fan of survival horror games- and although the project zero games are my favourite for 'fear factor', I am a big fan of resident evil too. I own them all- actually I have an extensive survival horror game collection- some of which are unavailable to buy in the UK and so are rare. I have to say that I also own resident evil on the ps2 (limited edition version), gamecube (first one I played it through on) and on the wii- and the wii's unique version is by far the best- I will explain why… Due to the controllers for the wii, the Wii-mote and nuchuck- the player is far more immersed in gameplay- re-loading your weapon, swinging your knife- are made far more realistic (don't worry- you are killing monsters), the monsters in resident evil 4- (which I will refer...
