...Sally Hansen “Hard as nails” is a product that supposes to strengthen your nails. My nails occasionally break, so I decided to try it. It can be purchased in Boots and Superdrug. I have so say that I was not impressed with it from the moment I started applying it. It looked a bit strange on the nails, although the sign on the bottle stated “clear”. It also started to chip the next day and my nails felt really dry. I have used products from Sally Hansen’s range before and they seemed to be fine, but I was extremely disappointed with this one. Advantages: Hardest Nails I Ever Had
Disadvantages: Desired results may take time to achieve. May need to use Sally Hansens Maximum Growth prior to using Sally Hansens Hard as Nails for optimum results.

...Sally Hansens Hard As Nails really does work. I USED to have nails that would peel and break and were very weak, now I can prize open just about anything with my new strong nails. At first when I tried Hard as Nails I found it helped my nails a little, but they were still weak. I needed to perservere and this paid off. I found that if I tried Sally Hansens Maximum Growth first to get my nails stronger and longer, (this takes about 10 days to get brilliant results), then after the 10 day Maximum Growth programme I used Sally Hansens Hard as Nails and it really did work. Now I use my strong nails to prize open lids, packets, pierce sellotape, etc,. To all of those who have tried this product and haven't got the results they wanted, try the above advice and perservere because this product really does work.... Read review

...PRICE Just too expensive £7.00! PACKING The bottle is a lovely blue- aquamarine colour with a transparent brush, silver cover and transparent liquid in it. In true Sally Hansen style, the instructions are printed clearly on back of the bottle. USING IT I have used Sally Hansen for more that three years now, I have used Teflon Tuff (wonderful), Hard as Nails (doesn't work) and Maximum Growth (really, really good) previously but, I stopped buying it regularly because of the price. My sister is a nail bitter and she needs products like this to help her nails grow. Like my sister I used to be a nail bitter but I stopped and got great looking nails by using the Sally Hansen products I mentioned earlier. Recently, I started losing my nails for no apparent reason. ...I am new to sally hansens nail care products, and i am really enthusiastic about their miracle growth nail polish. there are many products on the market that claim to stop chapping and splitting, and strengthen your nails. However, this product is the one and only nail laquer that has fullfilled its promise. It is a fragrance free laquer which is easy to put on, and gives an even coverage. for me it took approximatley 10 days to see results, with the miracle growth treatment. My nails appeared to be getting stronger to the touch, there was less evidence of splitting and chapping. I am not normally a nail biter, although when i am nervous i have done. However seeing the results of this product has made me more aware of my nails, and when i am nervous i tend not to bite my nails now, as i dont want to spoil them. Its great... Read review

...A review for the girls I suppose - unless you blokes out there like painting your nails too............................ I used to bite my nails really badly as a child and they are now very weak and snap easily. They also catch on things and bend back over which is VERY painful!! I wish I had listened to my grandad when he told me to stop biting them! But I stopped biting them several years ago and I now take a real pride in my nails as when they are long and painted they look lovely, never mind how impractical they are for washing dishes!
