Review of Sapphire RADEON 9200SE Atlantis by
gelintas
Advantages: Cheap value video card
Disadvantages: Slower than others
...Finally I can replace my old vdeo card with a new one. I choose The Sapphire 9200se because I heard a lot of good reviews about it. The Sapphire 9200se is one of the top models in video card and I was able to purchase it for 18 bucks on a local shops.
Installing this product is a breeze I just inserted it to the AGP slot and screw it on, The video card has a large heatsink instead of fan. After that I quickly install the graphics driver the setup is automatic and the installation process is over in minutes.
This product is compatible with Direct X 9.0 and older versions. My PC system has an Athlon XP 3000+ processor, ASUS motheboard and 1Gb of PC 2700 ram. I’m expecting that the sapphire 9200se would deliver me some imressive results.
I tried some games in it and I was impressed by it’s capabilities, It runs smoothly on warcraft...

The best mid range card out there.
Review of Sapphire RADEON 9600 XT Atlantis by
Notorious-Biggles
Advantages: Good performance, respected brand.
Disadvantages: Due for replacement soon.
...As the last time I posted the same review for the same product, albeit being listed seperately, I got a ticking off from Trampus, I'll write a seperate one.
In case you haven't realised by the amount of different manufacturers offering Radeon branded cards, the graphics chips are made by ATI and then sold onto other manufacturers to actually make the cards that feature the graphics chips. This allows for brands to carve a niche for themselves as either performance brands, budget brands, or or just good value brands.
Sapphire is a performance brand that also offers good value. If you are considering buying a Sapphire card look carefully as for a while they were sold with a voucher that will get you Half Life 2 for free when released. Due to the delay in Half Life the offer was extended to a full Steam account. That means Half Life...

The 9200SE, yet another Gem from Sapphire.
Review of Sapphire RADEON 9200SE Atlantis by
Credance100
Advantages: Excellent mid-range card. Compatable with most recent games. Good overclocking capabilities
Disadvantages: None to speak of.
...Last January, after my aged Nvidia TNT2 card finally bit the dust I realized it was time to purchase a new graphics card for my own PC. I'd previously bought and tested out the Radeon 7000 from Sapphire on a different PC, due to the good results I acheived with that model, this card represented a natural progression.
The 9200SE card is by no means a top of the range model, when I purchased it it cost 37 pounds. Upon receiving it promptly through the post I proceeded to install it in the usual manner: Inserting it into one of the Agp slots on the motherboard and fastening the card using the screws supplied.
The motherboard I used it on was a cheap Syntax / PC Chips board equipped with a 4x AGP function. Just likes its lesser counterpart it possesses no manual.
The software supplied was identical to that which came with the 7000...

TV, DVD, VCD, CD and File player, and a VGA card?
Review of Sapphire THE BEAST ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 9800 PRO by
saucy77
Advantages: An amazing array of gadgets to play with.
Disadvantages: As of August 2005, Sapphire have stopped manufacturing the AIW cards.
..., including DVD (Mpeg2) all the way down to VCD quality. I was fed up with missing Big Brother and recorded an hour it took around 5gig of my hard drive.
I have a cable modem and split the feed so I could use this with the card, but you can use a normal terrestial aerial if you happy with just the bog standard channels. Using cable, you get all the channel's you subscribe to (I think), seeing that I don't subscribe to the TV service, the only extra channels I receive are Sky One, Challenge, Sky News and another region of ITV.
You get a 2 year warranty on Sapphire card's.. which I am glad of as mine had started to overheat. I managed to send it back, and am now in the process of waiting for my replacement to arrive.
As Sapphire have stopped making the All In Wonder card's, you will be pushed to get a brand new one now. So you might have to scour...

A good budget card
Review of Sapphire RADEON 9200 Atlantis by
J.Gamgee
Advantages: Value for money
Disadvantages: Slightly misleading amount of memory.
...in their full glory, but at the moment I believe that this card (paired with the right processor and so on) can handle any game on the market.
Benchmarking shows that this card is very much in the middle of the range for performance, Ati of late have been offering good performance for your money in just about all of their cards. This card is of course manufactured by Sapphire – but for Ati cards there really isn't a lot between the different manufacturers making the same range, so don;t be put off by the fact that this card is not entirely made by Ati.
One of the great things about Ati cards is the image quality, both in 2D and 3D these cards give good crisp images and makes everything from viewing web pages to playing games a pleasure.
Another point worth mentioning is that this is a directX 9.0 card meaning that it has better support...

Sapphire 9800 xt
Review of Sapphire RADEON 9800 XT by
dgreat

Great card for a gamer on a budget!
Review of Sapphire RADEON X1950 PRO by
Xplodzion
Advantages: No trouble with latest games, cool and quiet
Disadvantages: Does not have DirectX10
...I bought this card about a month ago and since then I have had sufficient time to test it and see if my money was well spent, here is my short review of the Sapphire Radeon X1950PRO.
The Radeon X1950 Pro was designed to replace ATI's older midrange card, the Radeon X1800 GTO. With a 580 MHz core clock speed and 512MB of GDDR3 RAM running at 1,4GHz, the Radeon X1950PRO boasts a faster core clock and memory speeds than the Radeon X1800 GTO.
Like most midrange to high-end graphics cards, the Sapphire Radeon X1950PRO requires a link to your PC's power supply. Most PCs with a 300-to-400-watt power supply should be able to handle a single card, and ATI recommends at least a 550-watt power supply for CrossFire mode.
The Sapphire Radeon X1950PRO's fan runs very quiet under stress and did not generate too much heat which was perfect for me.
I...

Quality Graphics, Quality Price
Review of Sapphire RADEON 9600 Atlantis by
Testarossa
Advantages: Quicker & smoother graphics
Disadvantages: Can't think of any
...There is a distinct lack of reviews on graphics cards, so I thought, having recently changed mine that I would write one.
I purchased the ATI Sapphire Atlantis 9600 256MB DDR to replace my G Force 4 MX 440 128MB DDR.
How much does it cost?
I bought this graphics card from scan.co.uk for £67 + vat (11.73) + Carriage (£7) a total of £85.73. Most places are still charging over the £100 mark, so I was thrilled to get this at such a bargain price.
What is it like?
What a difference! There has been a noticeable difference in screen rate, and the quality of the picture is incredible. Pictures load onto the system more quickly, graphics are smoother and quicker, and even web pages seem to load more rapidly. Watching my husband play on Delta Force, it struck me how realistic the graphics are.
It appears to be stable, and hasn't yet fallen...

Sapphire RADEON 9600 Atlantis Pro 256MB
Review of Sapphire RADEON 9600 Atlantis Pro by
KnowledgeBase
Advantages: Great Value, Relaible
Disadvantages: No as good as 9800 series
...I wanted to buy a video card that could handle cames such as Call of Duty and NFSU2 easily with a bit to spare. I didn't want to break the bank, and although I was tempted by the 9800 series I opted to go for a sapphire 9600 pro(256mb). I must emphasize the importance of purchasing a pro model as opposed to a standard 9600. Although the pro is not as good as the xt, the price increase from the standard 9600 was minimal(a mere 2 pounds in my case!), so the performance upgrade was well worth the bit extra. I was constrained by the fact that I didn't have a pci express port only an agp, but I have been assured that I do not lose out by buying agp compatable technology at this stage. It is recommended to use this card with an 8x agp slot but using a 4x is fine.
The all important core clock speed of the 9600 pro is 400mhz, compared...
