...As photography is a bit of a hobby of mine I have used many different cameras and so there for feel I can give a fairly good review on the one I own now. After many cameras which have failed to produce what I was looking for I was introduced to the Sony Cyber-shot which has many different models. The model I am reviewing today is the one I purchased personally although I have used others too. This particular model the cyber-shot dsc-p9 has a very wide variety of useful functions such as a 3x zoom lens which is equivalent to a 39-117mm this zoom is backed up by a 2x digital zoom. It also boasts a 1.5 inch monitor to preview your photos on before storing or just to browse through them after storing; the screen is easily big enough to get a very good idea of what the photo is going to look like after printing. ...flash memory the same as the iPod range of products, allowing for a smaller unit size as opposed to the larger traditional hard-disk technology found on larger units. This product is very slim as it is marketed as a direct competitor to the iPod nano range. The product is slightly slimmer than the ipod nano and has a screen that is larger than the iPods with 2 inches for the Sony and only 1.5 inches for the iPod. The Sony is more expensive than the iPod by about £20-£30 so a larger screen is a good selling point to account for the bigger price tag. The screen quality is excellent and a big improvement on that of the iPod. You do have the option of video playback but this novelty soon wears off as watching such a small screen is not practical for long periods of time. ...about it. It was probably faulty batteries, as I have not had any similar problems since, or many problems at all really. As well as taking photos it can also shoot videos. I have not taken many, but the ones that I have are of a reasonable quality. These can be viewed on the 1.5 inch screen, which I feel is fine for photographs, but doesn't really show videos that well. There is also a slideshow setting with which to view photos, but again the screen isn't really big enough to display them. It has 32mb internal memory so I could only store about 20 photos on it, so I bought a memory card from a sony shop. It is only 128mb, but that is enough for me since I don't even use up this amount of space. It holds around 73 photographs, which to alot of people probably wouldn't be enough space, but fortunately memory cards are cheaper now... Read review

...This is indeed a very excellent laptop from Sony and is very affordable. It has alot to offer to the quality of the machine. I found the laptop to be a great alternative to the apple macbook for my university studies as a graphics/ digital designer. Using software programs for the use of photo editing, illustration, website design and other programs that like to use ram can become very frustrating when only having little memory, but this VAIO laptop with its 2GB of DDR II memory is more that certainly cut out for the job, and Its got a large 15" inch widescreen X-black LCD crisp clear display that is capable of displaying almost all programs with no problems at all. Conectivity to the laptop is very reasonable with four ubs ports and one fire wire port (4 pin), you will never be without a port spare. It also has two memory card... Read review

I have to say they aint that cheap, but for the size of them and the toppings its not too bad, they cost from £6.85 for a regular Hawaiian to £13.99 for a Family Sheer Perfection. ...gb memory stick would be miles better, you could probably fit around at least 70 photos on this (with the setting on the highest resolution), and you can probably pick one up for £15 if you shop around. The camera also captures full motion video in VGA resolution at 30fps with sound (requires Memory Stick Pro media.), I would say however the quality of the videos is nowhere near as good quality as the pictures it takes. ...We recently replaced our aging portable TV with the Sony KDL 15G2000E which cost £250, a resonable price considering the brand and the fact that it is an LCD TV. We chose this becuase it is very slimline and as it is going on a new worksurface (the review of Kitchen's Direct is to come) with limited psace it was ideal. It's only 17cm deep. It loos sleek and pretty hi tech on the worksurface thanks to the silver stand and bright screen. The 15 inch liquid crystal display is big enough for our needs, and has a viewable area of just a shade over 38cm. It isn't massive by any stretch of the imagination but it has an inbuilt Freeview tuner so it keeps the little lady happy while she is cooking. The speakers pump out enough volume for me to be constantly harassed by whatever she is watching in the living room. Seriously though... Read review
