...We visited Evi Studios, Rhodes in the resort of Pefkos during the October half term break. We stopped for one week and travelled with Airtours. Unfortunatley I cannot remeber how much we paid exactly, but it was definatley under £1000 for a family of four, 2 adults and 2 children. We arrived at approximatley 01:00am and were showed to the room by the rep from the coach, as it wasn't a 24 hour reception. THE ROOM We were in a two bedroomed apartment with one bathroom, adults in one room, kids in the other. The rooms and utensils were very basic but it had everything that you needed. We had a two ring hob but this heated up very slowly and as we had no kettle, you had to wait 10 mintues just for a cup of te! ...Previously I had been owned by Siamese,but the photos of these little pixie like street urchins kept jumping in to my head. It was pretty inevitable that one was going to appear in my life sooner or later. On 27th March 2003 Evie my red tabby Devon Rex was born,there in my life changed. When you say a cat has character this is a bit of an understatement. She likes nothing more than sitting parrot like on my shoulder. Bend down at your mercy,as a naughty Devon will soon be on your back. In fact I can probably say most of the time I look like an extra from 'The King and I' stooping around trying to find a convenient piece of furniture to place her on. Bathtimes beware as water is a huge attraction.She will actually try and sit on your knee whilst bathing.At least there is not a thick coat to dry off. All I can say that these comedians... ...With the FS-115Z and their range of Vaio computers equipped with the new X-Black display screens, Sony have gone a long way towards dispelling the myth that you can't replace a desktop system with a laptop. The only reasons laptops have failed to completely eliminate desktops has been the woefully poor display technology they have been saddled with and their poor upgrade ability. I've had very many laptops through the years and have always had to resort to using a desktop with a quality monitor attached if I needed to get a lot of work done. Well now there's no real excuse for sticking with that enormous box you have stuffed under your desk, get yourself a Vaio. I did. So what did I get for my money? £1105 inc VAT. Advantages: Useful 'Gadget' to have to if your not very good at remembering things (i.e. me). Its Sony so its well designed and Jog Dial is fantastic. Palm OS PDA is great.
Disadvantages: Its a PDA so only has a lifespan of a year unless you are satisfied with it. Memory Stick is expensive and you cant run programs from it.

...(Operating System) type of PDA’s left and even then I had so many choices. There are 3 companies that make Palm OS PDAs, which are Palm, Handspring and Sony. The choice of Palm OS PDA’s for under £100 was limited. There was the Palm 105, which was retailing at about £80 and the Handspring Visor Edge at £99. The Palm 105 didn’t appealed because it had no expandability slot to add more memory later, the screen size was too small and the unit was fairly chunky. The Handspring on the other hand was very sleek looking with an aluminium exterior but had sacrificed some usability and functionality for looks. Palm had also releases a new £80 Zire PDA but with only 2MB of memory and no expandability option, it had too little memory for loading on further applications later. Advantages: Very fast in transferring files, rather cheap, keeps thousands of pictures and video clips

...I bought a Sony 1GB M2 memory card because my Sony ericcsson K770i internal memory was just not enough. The sony M2 card is very small and comes in black only I bought mine for £10 in one of those street mobile shops that unlock mobiles. I actually thought this was cheap for a Sony M2 card as you would normally find them at £15 or maybe more in electronic shops such as Comet, Pc World, Jessop's, Currys etc. The Sony M2 card comes in a thick plastic package, which has to be opened by a scissors or knife as it's hard to open by bare hands. Inside the package there are instruction on how to use the M2 card and there are some warnings on how to avoid the M2 card from being damaged.
