Sony Handycam DCR SR90E
Review of Sony Handycam DCR SR90E by
claireyrosey
Advantages: very easy to use, records over 7 hrs on to hard drive,
Disadvantages: you need a dvd burner
...Firstly I am not going to quote all the technically stuff - so if you need all those details it would be best to go to the Sony website.
This camcorder is exactly what I require - its light and compact it can record about 7 hours video and 9999 photos.
Its very easy to use - simply by flicking the dial to move between shooting video, taking photos and viewing your videos and photos.
The photos are an excellent quality 3 mega pixels - and you could not tell the difference from those taken on my Sony P150 (which has 7 mega pixels) As the camcorder is so light and compact it is easy to carry it round and get it out to take some photos.
Taking video is easy too - all the buttons seem to be I logical places when you get the hang of it. They are lots of settings to mess around with you are so inclined (like my husband) or (like me) you...

Great all round camera
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P200 by
Mike4245
Advantages: picture quality, ease of use, carl zeiss lense
Disadvantages: flash is harsh, lag time between shots on flash
...especially with two small children who do not stay still for photos.
Other down sides - Sony never did a waterproof housing for this camera but they usually run at £100+ anyway so you really need to want to take underwater shots to invest in one...

The ultimate cybershot
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P10 by
Jimbolian
Advantages: Lightweight, Compact, Stylish, 5Megapixel
Disadvantages: Not many!
...the shot, so I'd just get a small lion and a lot of grassland in my frame.... now I get amazing images with the ability to edit them in camera!).
There is also a movie capture facility which is only limited by the size of the memory stick you have inserted - so if you opt for a 1GB Memory stick pro (1Gb stored on something smaller than a stick of chewing gum!), you can expect to film 40mins of full 640 VGA footage - or for smaller films, choose the 160 format.... the camera allows you to record sound and it even has a built in speaker so when replaying you can enjoy the full experience and see if you really did capture the full moment!
Using the optional marine housing (Sony MPK PHA) which costs approximately £150, I can take this camera up to 40m underwater which has allowed me to obtain some of the best diving shots I've ever taken...

Amazing Touch Screen Camera!!! DSC-N2
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-N2 by
no1ice
Advantages: Touch screen, Manual/Auto capabilities, Slide show function, Paint function, Video capability
Disadvantages: No view finder
...Focus function which allows the camera to change its focus automatically without re-pressing the shutter button and ISO sensitivity up to 1000 times better than the previous DSC-N1. It has many different flash functions and allows users to program its use specifcally for "landscape", "fireworks" etc and make the pictures suit there purpose!
The camera has built in a Slide show function which allows you to show you pictures off to your friends in style along with music either pre-set or can be uploaded mp3 tracks. The camera also can be used underwater with the special housing that can be bought from Sony or a retailer at around £70 for those amazing underwater snaps!
One of the noticeable features is the "paint" feature which allows you to draw on the faces or your pictures and add pre-made stamps such as love hearts and stars. This can...

The SONY DSC-P9
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P9 by
james.youell
Advantages: Lightweight, compact, optical zoom function
Disadvantages: Storage media.
...This camera although now old in the world of digital photography, still holds its own...
The 4.1MP sensor is perfectly adequate for all standard photgraphy, giving photographs with vibrant colours, and a fast exposure time in comparison with equally priced cameras.
I purchased my camera around two years ago and I have still not found any need to replace it.
The main purpose that I purchased this model was the availability (although limited) at the time of a underwater addon kit. This has allowed me to fully utilise the camera whilst surfing, snorkeling and diving and has yielded fantastic images thoughout.
The infolithium battery life on the camera is in my opinion excellent as well. I have admittedly purchased a spare, but I have never run out of battery whilst out on holiday or on a daytrip when the camera has been charged...

Eye eye Sony
Review of Eye Toy (PS2) by
pbyron
Advantages: Something very different
Disadvantages: Boring as a single player game
...--------
Besides the games, there are some weird little extras in the playroom, allowing you to appear underwater with the fishes, get caught in a spider’s web or play around with a fun-house full of mirrors. It will also let you record a video message which you can save to the memory card and eventually will let you send these over the net.
You may even find the device popping up in some games in the future, imagine a Grand Theft Auto where you throw the punches in real life!
Summary
--------------
In releasing the Eyetoy, Sony have provided you with a product that makes you look like a loon, gives you 12 games with great replay value.
The one drawback is that these games are pretty simple and as a single player device, the Eye Toy won't hold your attention for very long. However, it's meant as a party toy and as such does the job very well. When...

Perfect pictures every time
Review of Sony Cybershot DSC-W80 by
princess-emmerella
Advantages: rechargeable battery, photo quality
Disadvantages: price, lack of accessories
...charger
Rechargeable battery pack (lithium ion type g)
USB, A/V cable for multi use terminal
CD-ROM (picture motion browser)
Wrist strap
The CD-ROM works on Windows 2000 professional, Windows XP, and Windows Vista.
The battery from full lasts approximately 340 shots
There are all kinds of accessories to buy for this camera, one of which is the memory stick pro duo, if you buy the Sony one it will set you back around £35 for a 1GB stick and all the way up to £95 for an 8GB one. It really depends on how many photos you want to store on your camera. I brought mine from Ebay it cost £12 for a 2GB stick, it was not genuine Sony but works perfectly.
You don't get a case included in the price, i brought one which wasn't Sony and the camera was way to small for it and it just moves around to much. I recommend buying the genuine Sony case made...

Great camera for underwater use
Review of Kodak Weekender Underwater Disposable camera by
dip10020
Advantages: Light, complete with carry strap.
Disadvantages: Button is just a little difficult to press
...I bought this product this summer, because in was in Sydney this summer and decided to go to the Great Barrier Reef too. So I got there and thought I'd better take an underwater camera, so I bought this Kodak one, as it was the only one in the store. The waterproof casing looked rather dubious, but dont be fooled, for this is one sound, good working camera. It comes with a strap, so you needn't carry it underwater. I processed it, and my coral pictures came out beautifully. And at £8 pounds, I think that it is an excellent product, for now my memories have been immortalised....

Professional images of Nemo ~ EASY ....
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P150 by
jellibaby
Advantages: Underwater housing, small, cheap cards, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Time delay between pressing the button and camera taking the photo.
.... An Olympus or a Sony ~ my analysis of the market was based around the size of the camera, the size of the housing, the simplicity of the housing, the ability to use the buttons and knobs on the housing underwater, and of course the number of mega pixels. At the time the Cybershot P200 had just come onto the market. The P200 has a bigger screen but pretty much all of the same features. What it doesn't have is an underwater housing, and what is more, it's not going to have. I didn't like the look of the Olympus underwater housings; they were much squarer and fatter and seemed altogether a lot more cumbersome.
THE CYBERSHOT P150
The decision then was for the Cybershot P150 which does have its own housing ~ the MPK-PHB from Sony. I picked up the camera in a really good deal with almost £100 off list as it was old news and the new P200 was just out...
