So throughout gruelling and tough racers, your palms will be sweating like they never have before. Desperately trying to overtake an opponent while racing through a loop at tremendous speeds can be extremely exhilarating. But although you can experience great speeds by simply going around loop-like tracks, you haven't experienced anything until you break the sound barrier. There may be a few times when you think you might have, but you're not so sure, but trust me, you'll know when you have and you'll always remember it. ...There really is no other place in the world quite like the Great Barrier Reef. There are so many activities and opportunities for visitors that whatever time you have on Herron Island is not enough. There is a wide range of things to do, from whale-spotting to sitting at a bar watching the sun go down with a cocktail you've never even heard of!! The most obvious attraction of Herron Island and the Great Barrier Reef is diving and snorkling. Just off the beach there is an entirely different world just waiting to be viewed. You have to make sure it stops there though, as some coral can cause nasty cuts and many of the marine animals can pack a poisonous punch, such as the Stonefish or Stingray. ...Hamilton Island is probably the most well known Whitsunday Island, located near the Great Barrier Reef. For me, Hamilton Island was one of those annual family holidays that would usually take place in September. Depending on where you live (locally or internationally) it will require at least two flights, one on a domestic flight to Brisbane airport and the other a charter flight to Hamilton Island itself (yes it does have an airport although very small). Take note that if you plan on staying at another island in the area you will have to fly to Hamilton Island and then catch a ferry from there. Accommodation is extremely flexible to suit different types of families and budgets with beach fronted apartments (up to 5 people) and rainforest bungalow retreats. Advantages: Nifty pair of speakers; chic design; blends in well with cream-coloured systems
Disadvantages: incapable of working well at higher volumes; a tad too big

...contribute to a positive response (hehe!). That said, the logo is in fact red and green. These colours work well with my current computer the speaker with the logo is situated on top of the main tower, where there are other coloured logos. This may not, however, be to everyone’s taste and definitely would not go well with a black-coloured system. Installation went exceptionally easily. Once I had actually found the speakers (I haven’t got a clue how I missed them – they are too big to go unseen!), all I had to do was plug them in and restart the computer. Windows did the rest – it detected the speakers on boot up and installed all the necessary drivers (by C-Media). Even though I did end up having a bit of trouble with the drivers at first (as they kept on making the sound go silent for some reason), a quick windows update did the trick... Read review

...It's not always easy or convenient to open your PC to install a new soundcard. You may just not like the idea of physically opening the machine. It may be you are a laptop owner and plagued by their notoriously poor audio capabilities. In either case, if you need to upgrade your machine's sound capabilities, the Creative SoundBlaster MP3+ is just what the doctor ordered. I've had mine a couple of years now so you'll probably be looking to eBay or similar if you want to get one now. Installation Being a USB device, you simply need to install the drivers, plug it in to a USB socket and away you go. The MP3+ takes its power from the USB connection so no external power pack is needed which is a major plus point when your computer corner is heaving with external power packs hanging out of wall sockets. Advantages: Great surround sound, Pleasing design, Complementary to Creative Speakers, Easy to use, cheaper option to replacing internal soundcard of laptops plus the bonus of having surround sound, wide range of inputs other than PC.
Disadvantages: Relatively bulky, expensive

...Why did I get external sound card in the first place? My laptop’s internal soundcard was damaged and I had three options: to either replace the internal sound card which was half the price of my laptop (approximately £600), get a new laptop, or buy myself an external soundcard. The last option is relatively the cheapest, and I don’t have to go through the hassle of transferring data from my old computer to a new one, and by the way, at that time, my laptop was still new, so buying a new laptop was just too expensive for me. Upon the release of the Creative Extigy, it ushers in a new era in PC audio, especially for those laptop/notebook users who longed for an audio upgrade. The graphics are excellent, and the sound keeps you tense and aware of the seriousness of the occasion…A murder plot is awaiting as Ashley Riot, a Riskbreaker begins his search for truth. The story line is excellent, and is truly another masterpiece from Square. The game has been described in many ways but to be honest it is like no other game before it. It takes elements of games, and incorporates them into the gameplay. However to categorise Vagrant Story is difficult it has a completely unique battle system, where the player decides which part of the enemy to attack (arm, leg, head etc.) with each opponent having a different weak spot. There are Break Arts, or advanced fighting techniques that can be learned and mastered, many magic’s to gain and improve... Read review

Advantages: Feeder's best album to date, some incredible songs and pouring of emotions.
Disadvantages: Some will find it all too much - a fairly depressing listen.

...A band's music, providing that they take the time to craft their own songs, is a direct result of their personal highs and lows. Feeder's fourth release, the aptly titled 'Comfort In Sound', is the personification of this as it was the first offering following the tragic suicide of drummer Jon Lee on January 7th, 2002. It was hardly a shock that this album lost the groups previous rocky sound, for the most part. 'Comfort In Sound', when you listen to it, is an album in which lead singer Grant Nicholas grieves openly about his regret at his lost friend and sometimes it pours out like a gaping wound. Such feeling is understandable, of course; being friends with a person for such a long time - especially when you work closely with them - you'd begin to re-examine the situation in your head time after time.
