Yaris T Sport
Review of Toyota Yaris t-sport by  juliejuly

Advantages: Quieter cab at speed. Roomy for 5 adults.
Disadvantages: Longer than average delivery.

...August. Time to trade in my Yaris GS. What to buy? I'd heard about the T Sport- top of the range Yaris model. Not a real hot hatch but coming fairly close. Down to the dealer, and there was a metallic black shiny new T Sport. I had to look. The interior is set out in much the same way as the GS. Centrally placed dashboard, but this time, sports dials instead of the digital display. Racy type seats, moulded, all in black. CD player, sunroof and for those few days of summer, air conditioning. The car has racing grill, foglights and the T Sport logo on the front. Locking wheels nuts give that extra sporty look with rear spolier. As with all Yaris, the car is small on the outside, but like the Tardis inside - thanks to more height. Even my six foot husband finds it comfortable. OK, so far so good. 1500cc engine, and 0-60 in 9... Read review

Bye Bye!!!
Review of Sport Soccer (Shop) by  ROCKYRICARDO

Advantages: It Was Close To Home
Disadvantages: It is being closed down:(

...The Sport Soccer that was near me in Coventry up by the central six retail park is closing down, I don't know if they are all closing or just the one by me. I love that shop its amazingly cheap, sometimes it has its bad days and is really expensive but 90% of the time its great. I went in there once and was looking for a pair of trainers that I had seen just down the road in JJB for £89.99 and they were £69.99 in sport soccer, I couldn't believe it. But saying that I have been to First Sport and they had a pair of tracksuit trousers for £14.99 and Sport Soccer had them for £29.99, that put me off for a while. As you can tell I like to look for a bargain! The best bargains I have ever received are defiantly from Sport Soccer, just recently because of them closing they have been having a massive sale, starting with all 25% off a week... Read review

"BIG AND BOLD"
Review of Mitsubishi Shogun 2.5 TD sport by  chrisnico

Advantages: A Great Driving Position
Disadvantages: Not Available in Auto Diesel

...The first thing that struck me about the Shogun Sport - was its Sporty Looks, Having had 2 Fronterra's it was time for a change. Having liked Shogun's for a while.....but not having Shogun Money the Sport offered a good entry Level, and I personally think it is better looking than the Bigger shogun. I purchased the "Warrier" edition in January this year in Silver - Nice leather Interior and Air Conditioning coming as standard. 16' Alloys and Auto Electric Mirrors were also standard. My only disappointment was having to pay extra for a Remote Central Locking and Alarm System. The change for me to Shogun has been Fantastic - even though I have to driva a manual again after years of Automatic. The Performance thus far has been great, it holds the road well in the wet - great on motoways and buzzes about town. Fuel consumption is OK... Read review

Nike Town - New York City!!!!!!!
Review of Nike Town (Shop) by  joedirt99

Advantages: Nike Town in New York - Heaven!
Disadvantages: Computer says 'none'!

...''Oh my god'', thats the first words that came out of my mouth when I entered Nike Town in New York City. The wow factor certainly hit me on entering the shop. With Nike probable being the biggest and most recognisable sports brand in the world, its clear to see why they leave their competitors like Adidas and Reebox behind in the race to be number one in the world of sport. Their advertising campaigns are nothing short of fantastic and they offer products for practically any sport in the world. The Nike Town building itself fits in perfectly with the skyscrapers that surrounded it and is located on 6 E and 57th street, not far from Central Park. The Shop is not like any other sports shop i've seen in my life. It is huge. With about 7 or 8 levels (compared to just 3 at Nike Town in London), all accessible via lifts... Read review

Review of Cambridge University by  pxs

Advantages: Great teaching, great people and lovely setting
Disadvantages: None

...Please don't be misled by Brideshead Revisited toffee-nosed protrayal of Oxbridge universities in the popular media. Cambridge is a diverse and exciting University which offers anything to those willing to take it. I was there a few years ago now and have never regretted it. There is a brilliant mix of students from all backgrounds. The colleges are all great (though central is better if possible). The teaching is second to none and the one-to-one system of supervisions with tutors makes a vast difference to the learning experience. There is also a fantastically wide range of extra-curricular activities: every imaginable sport (from hockey to hang-gliding), dancing, debating and even - in my day - Tiddlywinks. Cambridge itself is a lovely little town (unlike sprawling Oxford) and it is a pleasure to be there for 3 years. If you think you... Read review

Far Too Smelly For My Liking
Review of Lemongrass by  gailmill

Advantages: Useful for a number of applications
Disadvantages: VERY smelly

...It is not often I don't like the fragrance of an essential oil, but Lemon Grass is just too overpowering for my liking. On it's own it gets on your throat and irritates, in a blend it is far too strong and overpowers all other oils. If, on the other hand, you don't mind the strong perfume then this oil has antiseptic, diuretic and analgesic properties. It can be particularly useful in reducing fevers and infections and acts as a sedative on the central nervous system. Used diluted in a carrier oil, it is effective in combatting aches and pains brought about by sports over-exertions. It can be used to treat acne, but once applied to the body the smell lingers .... and lingers.... Read review

Brilliant Jap Crap!
Review of Toyota MR2 MK1 by  teen

Advantages: brilliant fun, great looks, no room for passengers!
Disadvantages: no room for shopping/luggage/anything else!

...The MKI MR2 is simply a brilliant car! For less than £2000 you can get a 2 seater, mid-engined, rear wheel drive sports car that is brilliant fun and, 15 years on, can still turn heads. The driving position is low down and very comfy with acres of leg room in the passenger seat. The 1.6 engine sounds great and the car has excellent road handling. Inside there are no mod cons but you do get central locking, electric windows and a sunroof that lifts out completely. Reliability and build is excellent - it has a few rattles now but nothing more. This is definitely a driver’s car - it has no real practical use with a boot than you can only fit about 4 bags of shopping in!... Read review

Michael J Mouse!
Review of Stuart Little DVD by  nickdilworth

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

...A computer-generated mouse with the voice of Michael J. Fox is adopted by Geena Davis and Hugh Laurie in this boring, irksome family movie based on a book by E.B. White. The special effects are devoted to action--as when the mouse, driving a miniature sports car, eludes several cats in Central Park--as well as cuteness, though several one-shot scenes hyping the mouse's wardrobe and domestic exploits are inexplicably relegated to the closing credits. That the adoptive parents and the adoptee belong to different species is the basis of the humor in the marvelously straight-faced performances by Davis and Laurie--but it's also a metaphor that allows the story to use class and ethnic stereotypes in support of the idea that it's best to be adopted by rich white people. Rob Minkoff directed a screenplay by M. Night Shyamalan and Greg Brooker... Read review

Great car
Review of Peugeot 306 1.8 by  Manics

Advantages: Great roadholding, handling. Cheap insurance.
Disadvantages: Uninspiring performance

...I have been a fan of Peugeots since I bought a humble 205 6 years ago and I'm now driving a lovely 306XS. The best part of this car and other 306s for that matter is the superb roadholding and handling of the car. However, for a sports car I think the performance from its multipoint injection engine is not quite up to scratch. Acceleration is below that of a Golf GTi but the sheer driveability makes up for this shortfall. Equipment is pretty good with alloys, remote central locking, electrics, remote stereo, pas and drivers airbag. Inside room is superb and the views are excellent with excellent rear view. However 306s are notorious for rattles and squeaks and the XS is no exception. Wind noise is a problem too. The best point of the 306XS has to be the cheap insurance. No other GTi class car comes close to the 306XS insurance for value... Read review

S Reg Fiat Punto 1.6 Sporting
Review of Fiat Punto 1.6 Sporting by  allansmith0314

Advantages: Good fuel consumption, nippy, relatively cheap to tax and insure
Disadvantages: Ride can be bumpy, some gear changes harsh (could be me)

...Overall a very good car, good to look at, nippy around town, fast enough on motorways. The ride can be a bit bumpy at times cd does jump occasionally but then the roads do seem to be getting bumpier anyway, good handling, gears do crunch occasionally but that could be me as all my cars seem to have done that. 1 of my favourite parts is a foot rest to left of clutch pedal, I do a lot of miles and find this very comfortable Full electrics, remote central locking I've had mine 7 months do a good 400 miles a week and no problems at all so far, not even when I left oil cap off and didn't realise for 4 weeks Cheap to tax at £110 for the year, insurance cheapish at £400 fully comp with just 2 years no claims, petrol costs me about 10p a mile or less Full service at Fiat Dealer £165 Any questions just get in touch...
