Bellstaf Dri-Bika Water proof Suit
Review of Bellstaf Dri-Bika Water proof Suit by
andrewj100
Advantages: Small compact and 90% waterproof
Disadvantages: It is not for everyday hard use
...and seams aren’t meant to be waterproof.
Miles away from home the heavens opened and at first I just resigned myself to the fact that I was going to get wet as the waterproof suit was so light and comfortable I forgot I had it.
Then I remembered and pulled up under the bridge of a junction on a dual carrageway.
Hoped off the bike and unpacked the suit, it was on in seconds, the only problem I had was getting the ankles around my boots, apparently putting a carrier bag over your boots makes this easy as they help you “slide in”.
I continued the journey and arrived home pleasantly supprised.
First of it kept the wind of me which always picks up and gets cooler in the raid.
The suit leaked, I had damp knees a slightly moist backside and some spots of water down my chest where the zip had leaked.
On the whole I was most...

Does your cat go Postal at the sight of a Carrier
Review of Members Advice on Cat Carriers by
Tamara99
Advantages: Cats love small enclosed spaces....
Disadvantages: ....but only until they realize they can't get out.
...Before you run out and buy a carrier, here are three things to know about your cat:
1) How big is your cat?
Adults cats range from 4lbs to 30lbs, from the size of a softball to that of a mutant cocker spaniel. If you're not certain, (and Catilla the Hun refuses to get on the scale) here are some guidelines: The average cat weighs between 9-12lbs. Most "big" cats are 15-18lbs. The lithe ones skipping through the Friskies commercials are about 11 lbs. Morris on the other hand is around 17.
If you're still not sure and don't want to guesstimate, get on the scale with the cat firmly in hand and see how much you weigh together. Then release the cat, patch up the wounds on your arms and get back on the scale.
2) How does your cat react to being confined?
Once upon a time I was blessed with The Bondage Kitty. I'm serious...

Example Carrier Oils for Use In Aromatherapy
Review of Carrier Oils by
Shekera
Advantages: Carrier Oils are available in different types and price ranges.
Disadvantages: Need to be kept in a dark place as can go rancid - shelf life can vary according to the oil's properties.
...Carrier oils for use in Aromatherapy are also referred to as Massage Oil Bases, or Vegetable Base Oils as they are obtained from vegetable, nuts or seeds and many have therapeutic properties and can be chosen according to the symptoms being treated. Carrier oils are used to dilute the concentrated essential oils making them safe to use on the skin.
Carrier Oils should always be purchased and stored in dark glass bottles as over time, they can go rancid, unless they contain natural vitamin E as this acts as a natural preservative.
There are many different carrier oils available on the market today; some of the more popular and affordable ones are listed below:
Apricot Kernel Oil (Prunus Armeniaca)
------------------------------------
Apricot Kernel oil is very rich and nourishing, making it ideal for all skin types, being...

the best baby carrier ever!
Review of Baby Bjorn Baby Carrier by
olgita
Advantages: comfortable easy to use
Disadvantages: none
...After becoming pregnant i was given this baby carrier in a horrible gree colour. "i will never use this" i said to my partner. oh how wrong i was. bjorn baby carrier is one of the most comfortable and easy to use baby carriers ever! it comprises of 2 attachable parts. the actual carrier and the straps. the two are connected by clipping the carrier in at the bottom of the harness and also at the sides. the bottom of the harness has a large strap which can be pulled tight when using it for a small baby. and adjusted very easily as baby grows.
it is very easy to strap baby in as unlike some carriers does not fasten from front or back but from the sides which makes it very easy to use aone.
the baby is very comfortable and snugg in this carrier and because the carrier has only one side whichever the adult is wearing it the baby...

Wow, What a Big Carrier
Review of Little Tikes Big Car Carrier by
Groovee
Advantages: Chunky Vehicles, easy to maneover
Disadvantages: hard for a small child to fit back together
...My Mother in Law bought this in Asda as part of Murray's main Pressie for Christmas. It was available for sale at £24.99 and it was just what Murray loves. My friends son had one of these and they had been available in Mothercare but I hadn't seen them when shopping in all the other toys shops for christmas pressies. I noticed in Asda at the weekend that they were selling them for something like £18.77!
The Carrier is like a car Carrier on which you would see the cars being taken to the garages in real life. The truck at the front is a navy blue colour. The Cab detatches easily from the carrier part, and the back bit of the cab has a large spike up the middle and the carrier is placed onto the cab.
The carrier is a grey colour and at the back there is a door which pulls down and forms a ramp to allow the cars to go up...

Baby Bjorn Activ Carrier
Review of Baby Bjorn Baby Carrier by
Kazm
Advantages: good weight distribution
Disadvantages: don't break it!
...My first daughter was born 10 years ago and it being November and not having enough money to buy a pushchair straight away we bought a second hand carrier to take her around in and when it was cold tucked her in our coats. 10 ½ years on we have a second daughter so being enamoured of carriers and totally out of touch I did a bit of research. It seemed that Baby Bjorn were ‘the’ ones to go for especially if you had a bit more cash to hand.
At 6 months pregnant I wondered off to our local baby equipment shop to look at carriers and lo and behold they had a feature on the Activ that was not out yet but would be widely available by the time I had given birth. I was still a bit dubious at £70 a lot of money for what it is but I figured it would get lots and lots of use as you can carrier up to 13 Kilos and it had lots of back support...

Cityhopper Pet Carrier
Review of Cityhopper Pet Carrier by
Shekera
Advantages: Easy to open in an emergency and easy to clean.
Disadvantages: None
...The Cityhopper pet carrier is available in two sizes, small ((H) 29cm x (W) 35cm x (D) 50cm), which is suitable for cats and large ((H) 40cm x (W) 40cm x (D) 60cm), which is suitable for large cats and small dogs.
It is manufacturered from high grade plastic and is easy to clean. It is lightweight with a comfortable strong plastic handle on the top, this is extremely important to me as I often need to carry two Maine Coon Cats which between them are equivalent to approxomately 2st in weight.
The carrier is fitted with a simple locking mechansim which allows for quick opening - this is extremely important if using to transport an injured animal - this enables the carrier's top to be taken off so that an injured animal can be lifted out rther than having to "pull" it out through the front opening of the carrier.
The carrier has...

Wilkinet baby carrier
Review of Wilkinet The Baby Carrier by
mollyanna1
Advantages: soft and snug for small babies, comfortable
Disadvantages: needs lots of practice putting it on
...I bought the Wilkinet carrier for our first son who is now four, recommended by a friend. We both had premature babies so the idea of a carrier suitable for babies from 5lbs was great. I used the navy cordroy carrier and found the main advantages to be the soft, well wearing fabric, the padding and the comfort. The carrier is very comfortable for both mum and small baby. The padding is in all the right places and with it being all fabric it is soft all over with no rough bits or bits to dig in. When there was the odd little 'accident' on the carrier I could sponge it down and leave to dry ok. The disadvantage I did find however were the long straps. I am 5' 5'' and size 10/12 and found wrapping the long straps round me whist holding the baby quite difficult. Once I got the nack it wasn't too bad, although I wouldn't recommend...

A good looking carrier that Daddies will wear!
Review of Tomy Freestyle baby carrier by
Wackywaith
Advantages: Soft fabric, comfortable for baby, looks sporty
Disadvantages: Can be fiddly getting baby in and out
...We bought the Tomy Freestyle for use with our first child two years ago. It's a front carrier that takes a baby from birth to around 9 months. It cost me around £30 from Mothercare.
We chose this carrier because the fabric was so soft inside and on the outside it was quite plain, yet had a sporty look to it. My husband said it was the most masculine of the carriers available which was a big plus for him.
It has two wide shoulder straps which cross over the wearer's back and a wide back support that goes around your waist. The whole front folds down to get baby in and out although we both find it hard to get the clips back through their respective holes to secure it.
There is a part at the front which folds up and down to support babies head which is particularly useful for newborns or if baby falls asleep.
Baby can face...

Like Resident Evil? Check out Carrier
Review of Carrier (DC) by
smossy
Advantages: Nice graphics, spooky sound and music. Good gameplay
Disadvantages: Some bugs, not altogether original
...In Carrier, you play as one of two government agents sent to find out what happened to an aircraft carrier that has lost communication with its base. Apparently, an ancient organism has taken over the ship and turned the crew into murdering mutants; it is your job to find out what happened, save the survivors and destroy the monster.
Carrier boasts very nice graphics, especially in the rendered backgrounds. Graphic detail is also a high point--walk through a blood puddle and you will leave bloody footprints for a little while (just like OJ!). The only graphical problem is the occasional slowing down when the screen is cluttered with objects. A minor problem, but annoying nonetheless. The music and sounds are pretty spooky and will keep you in the mood to play.
The control is also quality. The aiming system works and the target...
