...INTRO: I refer to My review of Command and Conquer Generals, there I stated that Generals was a flawed gem, a game capable of being the best strategy game of the year, period. However it was bogged down with technical problems and a somewhat bad single player option. Now heres where Zero hour comes into it because Zero hour is everything Generals should have been and much, much more. Firstly theres the much improved interface, there are now superweapon limit options and money options, these add variety to the play, there are also minor additions that you may not notice short term but are a great improvement in the long run. GRAPHICS: The graphics in Zero Hour have not much changed from the original, theyre still gorgeous and spectacular, in fact there some improvements, but none that are incredibly significant explosions now... Advantages: The pleasure beach
Disadvantages: The cleanliness of it all

...Blackpool in general is a very dirty place to visit. I live only 20 miles out of blackpool and it is a typical seaside resort. Its great for a hen night or stag du or for a day out at the pleasure beach or sealife centre but the sea in general is discusting and poluted and the streets are covered in litter. There is not so much to see except the tower but i must admit there is plenty to do. Nightlife is fantastic, catering for all genres of music. In the clubs the drinks are very over priced but if you go to some cheap bars then its ok. Be careful at night as there are a few local "chavs" who like to cause trouble. If you stay in the commercialised areas though, you shall be fine. very, VERY typical seaside resort!... Read review

...I check this site out regularly, it is a great source of information and gossip about cars and bikes. The reveiws are clear and concise and generally a bit tongue in cheek, nothing to heavy. The Power Portal is great for links to manufacturers and dealership, particularly helpful if you are looking for a car or just like cars in general. It is not the normal faceless portal site, it even featured a picture of the editors car when he wrote it off a couple of months ago. There are regular reporters and lots of competitions.... Advantages: Some excellent acting & cinematography. A very accurate portrayal of Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson.
Disadvantages: A bit to long for most folks.

...I thought Gods and Generals was a good movie. That being said, It was nowhere near as good as Gettysburg which was released in 1993 and also directed by Ron Maxwell. Keep in mind I believe Gettysburg is among the best war movies ever made. I do not understand why the movie received such harsh ratings and reviews by the critics. I'd like to discuss the historical accuracy of this movie. The movie doesn't run for fifteen minutes without something happening where you think, Oh yeah I remember reading that in some history book. I mean there are a hundred things that happen in the movie that are very true. There are also many things that are said in the movie that were said by those generals, word for word in many cases. ...This game was released as part of the series including Panzer General, Allied General, Sea General, Panzer General 2 and so on. I first bought Panzer General and I really enjoyed it, and so eagerly anticipated any future releases. However, every other title in the series is exactly the same game in different settings. The gameplay puts you in command of an army and gives you a goal, such as stopping an enemy attack or wiping out the enemy from a particular region. I am afraid to say that the game is very dated from the first day it was released. Movement is turn based and ech unit has a particular amount of movement points, which seemed like a good idea in Panzer General but really needed improving here. ...Having been a General Accident customer for many years i was wary when i was first informed of the merger with Commercial Union, and apparently my apprehension was justified. With General Accident the service was first class, but with CGU it is another matter. It seems a shame that after years of hard toil by the national staff of G.A to build a customer service history that was second to none it has now been wiped out within a few short months. For the first time ever i am thinking of transferring my policies elsewhere, and up until now always thought my loyalties would lie with G.A, but now that G.A is no longer exisitent i feel i cannot give my loyalty to a company that is slap-dash in it's customer care and slow on the uptake with regards to it's priorities. ...The German Department was the most approachable Modern Languages Department I have ever come across. Tutors were there, open to discussion and there was a wide range of modules in varying fields from contemporary language and linguistics, translation methodology, modern and mediaeval literature, and all backed up with good provision from Native Language Tutors. Due to the small size of the department, there can only have been about 30 of us in my final year, there was a generally good rapport between staff and students, with many of the tutors still keeping in touch with the students after graduation. Whilst they were friendly, there was a general mutual respect, and shirking was not tolerated. ...Who thinks that the motorway speed limit should be increased. From 70mph to 90mph tops. Reason why the general rule of thumb is before you get caught you have to be doing 10% over the speed limit plus 2mph so on a motorway that is going to work out at 79mph before a speed camera thinks about getting you (probably have just jinks myself). Source http://www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk/frames.htm I feel that if the speed limit was increased to either 80 or 90 mph then if you go over then you get caught no tolerance. I think that this should only apply to motorways. Because cars are getting safer and everyone speeds, I generally cruise about 75mph and I'm generally be overtaken all the time. What about you?... ...London in General is a very nice city with plenty to see and easy access using trains. The only problem is that it is very dirty and busy so it is hard to get around and the place can make you cough. You might also be tempted to got to the millenium dome but do not because it is absolutely no good what so ever. The train tickets are not to expensive to get there and there is plenty to see. One thing I do advise you go and see is the London aquarium and go on the london eye. Both of which are nxt to each other and easy to get to using the tube. Also do keep hold of your stuff as there are pickpockets and theves in london which will take unattended stuff.... Read review
