Visit Liverpool Palace
Review of Liverpool Palace (Shopping Centre) by LilDread

Advantages: Excellent variety of shops, reasonable prices.
Disadvantages: Very busy of a weekend

...One of the best alternative shopping experiences in Liverpool is the Palace. The Palace can be found on Slater Street which is a small road just off Bold Street. The Palace consists of 3 floors containing a mixture of various shops selling things from clothes, recordsa, video games, drug paraphenaelia and many other unusual things. It is very popular with young people and teenagers but is frequented by all ages. On the third floor, there is a lovely bar called the 'Baa Bar' where you can sit and enjoy the excellent food or just relax over a drink. There is also an excellent Piercing Studio on the third floor that does every piercing imaginable!... Read review

Stone Palace
Review of Crystal Palace by Alan_Percival

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

...Cystal Palace are definately not the team they used to be 4 seasons ago. Most of their top players have left to join better clubs and what was a team that kept going up and down form the 1st to the Prem and back to the first again has now become a team that now struggles to get mid-table. They still have money problems and this season will again struggle to compete for any trophies. I can't see Cystal Palace doing much this season and will be grateful when teams like Crewe and Preston Come to Selhurst Park.... Read review

Imperial Palace
Review of Forbidden City (Imperial Palace), Beijing by gaosha

Advantages: too many advantages
Disadvantages: some modern stuff break the environment

...This palace has buit in Qing Dynasdy, many Kings in Qing Dynasdy use to live in this palace. It has been rebuilt many times in order to showing for tourist. it is one of the most famouse attractions in Beijing and even China. Thousands of people go to visit the imperial palace everyday, it attracts lots of foreiners as well. From this palace, I have learned a lot of Chinese history, especially the Qing Dynasdy part. It located just in the middle of Changan road, not for from the shopping place, at the time I have been there, I went by underground, which cost only 3 yuan. I have been there 3 times, each time I was gaining different experience. One interest thing is I find a starbucks in the imperial palace, it is not very good though, it break the whole environment at all. Because this palace is a very traditional structure, I think... on the way back up?
Review of Crystal Palace by steveymacca

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

...so crystal palace are still playing at selhurst park and now once again face the prospect of playing wimbledon at the venue twice and all they have to do is switch dressing rooms. it seems a long time since palace were in the top flight but they will be aiming for at least a play off place this season with the quality of players they have. their strike force seems more capable than last season and their mid field looks a bit better too. their defence still needs some work though... Royal Palace tip
Review of Madrid in general by tomox

Advantages: Saves cost
Disadvantages:

...If you are intending to visit the Royal Palace, and it is both impressive and interesting, try and go on a Wednesday when there is free entry for European citizens on production of your passport. Be prepared for this attraction to be closed from time to time as it is used for private functions. The view from the terrace over the city is good and some of the rooms are sumptuously decorated. The gardens beneath require a fairly long walk to gain access and are more park than garden - but interesting and with a good view of the palace itself.... Read review

WE'VE EVEN GOT A PALACE IN THE NORTH WEST
Review of The Palace Theatre by JHPRUSHTON

Advantages: beautiful building,has great shows,good local parking,snacks&drinks
Disadvantages: Could utilise its building more at 'no show time'

...My first ever visit to the Palace Theatre was rather a long time ago...thirty five years ago to be exact. Even now things hav'nt changed much..One would have thought that they would have done...especially since the arts council have spent a couple of million doig it up. When I first went to the Palace it was to watch a christmas panto, but the palace launches far more extravagent shows than that these days. The palace theatre , which has been brought into the 3rd millenium with excellent facilities for the dissabled and able boddied alike,is a lavish theatre which extolls the best from its players. Its accoustic capabilities are far greater than many other theatres of similar size and visiting this great listed building leaves one feeling nothing but admiration for its staff, who are always on hand to help. The Palace Theatre I am sure... Read review

Sympathy from a Millwall fan
Review of Crystal Palace by Panthro

Advantages: None at the moment I'm afraid
Disadvantages: Long ball doesn't work

...As I'm (lucky enough to be!!) related to a Palace season ticket holder I occasionally get dragged along to Selhurst Park to see them. As a Millwall fan, it's hard to get totally behind them, but sadly they are in relegation trouble this season. The problem is more the management than the players, in my opinion. Alan Smith has failed at Palace once before as well as at Wycombe, and why Simon Jordan brought him back I can not understand. Palace may not be a club with a particularly succesful history, but they don't deserve to be in division 2, where they are headed. Ex players such as Ian Wright and Nigel Martyn must be shocked. The current team has some skillful players - David Hopkin and Mikael Forsell are outstanding, and Chelsea's Mikael Forsell is a great prospect. Alex Kolinko is a great keeper too. The problem is... Palace back in business
Review of Crystal Palace by Lenny_man

Advantages: Exciting Football
Disadvantages: The parking isn't too smart

...With Crystal Palaces off the field problems looking to be sorted out once and for all, its time for South London to get behind the Eagles. Speaking as a season ticket holder, I can promise you that a day down at Selhurst will be enjoyable, and entertaining. Last season may have been a struggle, but with a number of highly rated youngsters, the football was quick and attack minded. If you're in the London area around the 20th August pop down and bring the kids, you won't be disappointed as the Eagles play their first home game of the season, a derby against QPR.... Read review

The winter palace
Review of Botanic Garden by amysmum

Advantages: Wonderful place to relax
Disadvantages: None

...The botanic gardens with its greenhouse (also known as the winter palace) is a short distance from the University of Glasgow and a favourite spot for a relaxing student. I remember going there to clear my head and fill my lungs with fresh air while feasting the eyes on formal bedding plants and wilder areas. The winter palace itself has to be the jewel in the crown though; this enormous expanse of glass housing tropical plants and statuary. Quite an attractive prospect on a grey winter's day to be in subtropical conditions sharing your surroundings with palms and other exotic plants in a cathedral of glass. All I can say is go there and find out!... Read review

Proud to be Palace after all!
Review of Crystal Palace by GoldbergEnquirer

Advantages: Great fans
Disadvantages: Shares with Wimbledon

...To all those who are familiar with Palace and their struggles, and those who have only read in national newspapers, I am truly happy and delighted that CPFC have, so far, started out the new season, progressing with each game played. I believe, from what I've seen the players are getting on with each other and have hepled themselves to a great result yesterday against Huddersfield. There are some differences between the players, such as Morrison and Forsell, but these I hope will be rectified when they start to gel together - and the fans get off Mikael's back and let him play his own game. Simon Jordan has done well, despite some people's different reactions to Steve Coppell leaving. I believe with the full support of the fans, the community and the media Palace could become another major force in the Premiership (that we can hold... Read review
