...Tiny computers, just as the name suggests, are a very “tiny” success in the PC world. My advice just simply before I start, is to avoid Tiny. About 2 years ago I went to buy a Tiny computer, looking for something in the budget range and being able to access the internet, and at the time, have a large hard drive. Now the salespersons were not very helpful. After simply telling them what I required, they only pointed towards the models in the high price brackets. Now this is not what I call “budget”. After explaining once again what I would like they answered, well we will have to wait till our next catalogue is released. Thanks Tiny what a lot of help. Now being completely thrown off of the idea from buying from Tiny, we went back a few weeks later. This time they shew us through the latest catalogue, once again to find not much... Read review

...responsible is that? And then refused to exchange it, saying the modem was perfectly compatable with Tiny PC's internet surface, which is slow and over priced. Apparently "internet ready" on a Tiny PC doesn't mean internet ready in general. God knows what problems i'd have if i had to surf the net from Tiny too! So I had to buy a new modem out of my own pocket, and throw the useless one away. I've also needed a new set of speakers because again, the ones they gave me were incompatable with the computer, and a new cdr drive. I have over these proceedings never seen anything of the "15 hour call time" they promise, or anything of the "quick customer response" and "24 hour help lines". I'm just sitting here now waiting for something else to break.. it's not just that Tiny supply bad parts, they supply the wrong parts, they give no apologies... Read review

...How the manufacturers came up with the name Tiny, I'll never know - standing 14 inches tall, this lovable elephant will amaze any baby. We purchased Tiny at John Lewis for £20. It instantly appealed to us because of the bright colours and things it had to offer. Tiny is made by Tolo (www.tolotoys.com) and is suitable from birth. To describe Tiny: the majority of Tiny is purple with soft, velour type fabric. It's large ears are crinkly to the touch and striped yellow/orange/red/blue. It has a jingle ball inside its head and two small white tusks, and lovely long curled trunk. The two front paws each contain a squeeker and are brightly coloured using green, blue, orange, red and yellow. ...For my daughters second Birthday/Christmas her Godparents bought her one of the new Tiny Tears and boy did it bring back some memories of my childhood. Today's Tiny Tears is alot larger all round, available with different colour hair, fancy accessories and now also there's a Tiny Timmy, the little boy version, who could want more? It still carries out it's main activity which is if you give it a drink through the hole in their mouth eventually they will do a wee for you, which is not so bad if they are wearing the nappy supplied and not just sitting on your leg! My daughters Tiny Tears has been in and out of the bath, in the paddling pool, in the sink, you name it she's been there and because she can get wet there's no end to the fun they can have together, which makes her the perfect doll for any little one. All of this customer service in person was very good and satisfying, it re assured us that this would be good, but then after we’d bought the laptop, things started going oh so wrong. First off the company delivered it very late, (not a very good sign), and then once we had it up and running, the charger kept stopping. We called Tiny up about the charger, got a machine, ARGH! Anyway so after that my dad wrote a letter to them, never actually got a reply to that letter. And then after about three months Tiny called us and talked about the charger, and just said that they’d tested it and it was fine! (Ridiculous!) .... One gave me a bluescreen of death half way through installing. Restarted. Tried again. Same problem again. Restarted. Tried another game. Blue screen. And so on and so forth, several (new) games caused bluescreens of death. 3 games worked. Took a break, figured I'd go online for a bit. Modem didn’t work. At all. Funny noises came out of the modem, but no connecting. After spending an hour or so, trying everything I could, I decided to use the system restore. Modem worked! WOOHOO! Shut down. Half an hour later I restarted. Did the modem work? Did it heck. Hmm, well I didn't actually install anything that time. System restore. Modem worked! Shutdown and restarted. Modem failed. Advantages: Very helpfull and efficient staff and the PC does exactly what the sales person said. I did not feel any pressure to buy my PC from him.
Disadvantages: When I ordered my TINY PC I had a wait of 4 weeks before it could be delivred, but i guess this is a downfall of haveing a PC made to order.

...I bought my TINY PC about a year ago now and I have had 11 months of trouble free computing! The day my PC came everything ran smoothly! TINY do not usually specify a time of delivery but because I needed to know approximately when the PC would be delivered TINY done all that they could to give me an unofficial estimate. They were right too give or take an hour. I found them extremely helpful. Their staff are polite and very knowledgeable about their machines and products. I received all the advice I could have ever needed and they even told me a particular machine that I was looking at was not as good as a special offer they would soon have on! ...I have just taken receipt of my order with tiny.com. I am very pleased to be able to write a positive review after a day of problems. I was very worried about ordering from tiny.com because of the horror stories I had heard. However, the prices were really too good to miss. I placed my order on a Thursday. It then took a few days for the documents to turn up so I emailed customer support. I had discovered the email support takes two days to be responded to. Before buying from tiny.com I had email a few non-important emails with no reply what so ever. However, when the order was placed I got a reply to EVERY email I sent even if it did take a few days. ...I know that many people have had really bad experiences with Tiny but I still think they are the best - but then that just my experience I suppose!! I recently decided to buy a new computer after my old computer was dying under pressure. I decided to start researching the main PC retailers such as Dell Computers, Dan Computers, Time and Tiny Computers. I already knew that Tiny Computers had quite a poor reputation for after sales service from reading various IT magazines.
