...Mew in my opinion have bridged a gap in the rock world, creating a bridge between contemporary and diverse groups. They have managed to some how to combine melodic sigur ross like song, but actually go somewhere with it. Songs such as 'Special' or '156' (which is on the previous album) blend beautiful verses with rocking choruses. The word rocking truely doesn't do justice to their music, so I apologise to any hardcore fans. A good metaphor to describe the brilliance of this album: Animals of the Musical Forest: U2 being the wise owl Coldplay being the fox Mew are the Unicorn While Razorlight are the tractor destroying the forest And The Glass Handed Kites is the follow up album to Frengers, which put this band on the map outside of Scandinavia. ...As you probably know we have been adopted by a stray adult cat who is now called Mew - mainly because I asked him what his name was and he said 'Mew'! Anyway the other day we noticed white strands on his fur near his bottom. We realised that these were worms although what we didn't realise until we did a bit of investigation that cats need to be dewormed regularly - we're still learning feline husbandry! I took a look at the products available in Asda and chose Bob Martin Dewormer Granules at £3.78 for a small box containing three sachets. I was familiar with the name Bob Martin and assumed that this would be a quality product. The box has changed since this product was set up and is now pale blue with a purple silhouette of a cat on the front with the words 'Bob Martin easy to use Dewormer Granules. ...ive heard a lot of people say that this film was really rubbish, but i disagree, sure it could of been so much better, but i still really enjoyed it! yes, i admit it, i enjoyed it! you've all heard of pokemon, and this is a film of it, its just like a longer episode to be honest, but its got a few new pokemon in it, theres donphan, a little elephant/armadillo thing, there mew, a small psychic cat with true power, and theres mewtwo, a clone of mew, much bigger and some say its stonger, but i think there about the same, this film also has all your favourite pokemon from the cartoon,ie, pikachu, bulbasaur, squrtle, charizard, and many more, ash and some other trainers go to a secret island to battle with mewtwo(although they dont now it at the time) who wants revenge on the world for creating him for experiments, this film is only... ...This game was reccomended to me by a friend so I went out and purchased it. I have Pokemon Yellow, Red and Blue now and am currently playing Pokemon Yellow. Pokemon Yellow is a very addictive game and I play it all the time (except while i am on here). The Pokemon series are all very good and are basically the same. To collect all the Pokemon you will need all the Pokemon games (even with all the games you will still not be able to get Mew). I would reccomend this game to almost anyone as it is very playable.... ...As you probably know by now we have been adopted by a lovely cat which we have named Mew. He has his own little room at the side of the house where his food and litter tray are kept and of course mommy (that's me!) has the lovely job of clearing the poo from the litter tray on a daily basis. Initially I used old plastic carrier bags to do this but of course we don't get very many of those these days as we are all using shopping bags again to help the environment. The other day I was reading the latest reviews on Dooyoo (yes I know it's the 'other side'!) and read one by Butterbear for Asda Smartprice Nappy Bags currently priced at 300 for 82p. I thought to myself - these would be ideal for Mew poo! The pack is very simple in design in pale green and white with a silhouette of a teddy bear as of course these are supposed to be used... Most likely it was through my usual routine of trawling through the hundreds of album recommendations on Amazon. I'm not proud to say I download a lot of my music (I buy more now than I did before I used to download) but it's how I discover new bands and as I'm a quite critical listener, I always feel the need to give albums a 'trial run' whereby I listen to the album through headphones at a decent volume, at least 3 times before reaching a conclusion. ...pokemon yellow s the best out of all the pokemon series it is easy and hard because you get given 3 of the pokemeon whixch you dont get given but there are only some pokemon which are hard to get because you have to trade to complete the game like golem machamp mew but that is a cheat or you can get given them you have to buy a link cable to trade or you can battle also yellow is the only pokemon game you cant cheat on it is really fun game but itisnt as godd as it could be because i hope they bring a 3d version like the tv show and you can choose what you do... ...The olympic sized pool at Bath is stunning, as much to a non-swimmer as a professional - such as Paul Palmer to whom this pool is 'home'. There is an unusually large amount of seating area for spectators, only rivaled by Sheffield (Ponds Forge) which is nearly at an international level. The university certainly knows how to stage the event, making being a spectator at the pool even more of a pleasure. The big names who train here show just how desirable this pool is - not only Paul Palmer (as mentioned earlier), but Mark Foster and Darren Mew. There are many up-and-coming hopefuls for the 2004 olympics. It's not just male dominated either, Bath have a strong female swimming base too.... Read review
